1Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, that oppress the poor, that crush the needy, that say to their lords, Bring, and let us drink:
1 Wa maa sanni woone, Ya araŋ Basan haw nyaŋey kaŋ go Samariya tondo ra, Kaŋ yaŋ goono ga talkey kankam, ka alfukaarey tutubu. Araŋ kaŋ yaŋ ga ne araŋ kurnyey se: «Wa kande, iri ma haŋ.»
2the Lord Jehovah hath sworn by his holiness, that behold, days shall come upon you, when he will take you away with hooks, and your posterity with fish-hooks;
2 Rabbi, Koy Beero ze nga hananyaŋo boŋ ka ne: «Guna, jirbey go kaa araŋ gaa kaŋ i g'araŋ ku da gwatiyaŋ, Araŋ banda kaŋ cindi mo, i g'i ku da hari ham darbey.
3and ye shall go out by the breaches, every one straight before her, and ye shall be cast out to Harmon, saith Jehovah.
3 Araŋ ga fatta birni cinarey kortimey ra, Araŋ boro kulu ga koy nga jine sap-sap. Araŋ ga kaŋ Hermon ra mo.» Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
4Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices in the morning, your tithes every three days,
4 «Wa kaa Betel ka soobay ka asariya daaru, Wa kaa Jilgal ka taali boobo te. Wa kande araŋ sargayey* susubay kulu, Araŋ zakka mo jirbi hinza-hinza kulu.
5and burn a thank-offering with leaven, and proclaim, publish, voluntary offerings: for this pleaseth you, children of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah.
5 Wa kande saabuyaŋ sargayyaŋ kaŋ ra i na dalbu diibi, Wa bine yadda sargayyaŋ fe, W'i baaro say-say, zama woodin no ga kaan araŋ se, Ya araŋ Israyla izey.» Yaadin no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci.
6And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places; yet ye have not returned unto me, saith Jehovah.
6 «Ay mo, ay naŋ hinjey ma kwaaray araŋ kwaarey kulu ra, }waari mo ma jaŋ araŋ nangey kulu ra. Kulu nda yaadin araŋ mana ye ka kaa ay do.» Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
7And I also have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest; and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece [of land] was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.
8And two, three, cities wandered unto one city, to drink water, and were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith Jehovah.
8 Yaadin mo no a go, kwaara hinka wala ihinza na ngey gaa candi ka ye kwaara fo do zama ngey ma hari haŋ, i si yesi mo. Kulu nda yaadin araŋ mana ye ka kaa ay do.» Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
9I have smitten you with blasting and mildew; the palmer-worm hath devoured the multitude of your gardens, and your vineyards, and your fig-trees and your olive-trees: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith Jehovah.
9 «Ay n'araŋ kar da haw konno da bunkusyaŋ, Araŋ tuur'ize kaley d'araŋ reyzin* kaley da jeejay* tuurey da zeytun* nyaŋey, do n'i ŋwa. Kulu nda yaadin araŋ mana ye ka kaa ay do.» Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
10I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, taking away captive your horses; and I made the stench of your camps to come up, even into your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith Jehovah.
10 «Ay na balaaw samba araŋ gaa sanda Misira wano dumi, Ay n'araŋ ize arey wi da takuba, Ay n'araŋ bariyey ciya wongu arzaka, Ay n'araŋ gatey fumbo tunandi kal a ma furo hal araŋ niine funey ra. Kulu nda yaadin araŋ mana ye ka kaa ay do.» Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
11I have overthrown among you, like God's overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a brand plucked out of the burning; yet have ye not returned unto me, saith Jehovah.
11 «Ay n'araŋ kwaara fooyaŋ mallaka araŋ ra, Sanda waato kaŋ cine Irikoy na Saduma* nda Gomorata* halaci, Araŋ ciya sanda nune-me kaŋ i faaba danji ra. Kulu nda yaadin araŋ mana ye ka kaa ay do.» Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
12Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.
12 «Woodin se binde, ya Israyla, Mate kaŋ cine ay ga te ni se nooya. A binde, za kaŋ ay ga woodin yaŋ te ni se, Kala ni ma soola ka kubay da ni Irikoyo, ya Israyla.
13For behold, he who formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, who maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, -- Jehovah, the God of hosts, is his name.
13 Day guna, nga kaŋ na tondi kuukey te, A na haw mo taka, Nga no ga salaŋ boro se da haŋ kaŋ a ga miila nga bina ra. Nga kaŋ ga susubay ciya kubay, Nga kaŋ ga ndunnya nangu kuukey taamu, A maa ga ti Rabbi Irikoy Kundeykoyo.»
