1The burden of the desert of the sea. As whirlwinds in the south pass through, so it cometh from the desert, from a terrible land.
1 Saajo kaŋ go teeko do haray boŋ sanni neeya: Danga day dandi kambe haray hari haw bambata kaŋ ga bisa, Kaŋ ga funsu nda gaabi, Yaadin cine no wongu ga fun saajo ra d'a, A ma fun laabo kaŋ ga humburandi ra.
2A grievous vision is declared unto me: the treacherous dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, Elam! besiege, Media! All the sighing thereof have I made to cease.
2 Bangandi kaŋ ga sandi no i cabe ay se, Amaana ŋwaako goono ga amaana ŋwaari goy te. Halaciko go halaciyaŋo gaa ga te. Ya nin, Elam, ziji ka koy! Ya Mediya, ma wongu marga kayandi ka windi! Ay naŋ i bine jisiyaŋo kulu ma ban.
3Therefore are my loins filled with pain; anguish hath taken hold upon me, as the anguish of a woman in travail: I am bowed down so as not to hear, I am dismayed so as not to see.
3 Woodin sabbay se no ay ankorey to da doori, Foyray n'ay di sanda wayboro kaŋ go ga hay-zaŋay cine. Ay go ga kuubi da doori, kala ay si hin ka maa sanni, Ay taabi mo kala ay si hin ka di.
4My heart panteth, horror affrighteth me: the night of my pleasure hath he turned into trembling unto me.
4 Ay bina goono ga fittaw, Humburkumay n'ay zeeri. Kubay-kuba kaŋ ay ga beeje nd'a, Rabbi ye k'a ciya ay se jijiriyaŋ.
5Prepare the table, appoint the watch; eat, drink: arise, ye princes, anoint the shield.
5 Babila ra i goono ga ŋwaari do soola, I goono ga tangarayaŋ daaru, I goono ga ŋwa, i goono ga haŋ. Ya araŋ wongu nyaŋey, wa tun! Wa ji tuusu korayey gaa!
6For thus hath the Lord said unto me: Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth.
6 Zama yaa no Koy Beero ci ay se: «Ma koy ka batuko daŋ, A ma ci haŋ kaŋ nga ga di.
7And he saw chariots, horsemen by pairs, a chariot with asses, a chariot with camels; and he hearkened diligently with much heed.
7 D'a di wongu torkoyaŋ, da bari-kariyaŋ kaŋ ga dira ihinka-hinka, Da farkayyaŋ kaŋ yaŋ go ga sasare, Da yoyaŋ kaŋ yaŋ go ga sasare. Kal a ma hanga jeeri ka laakal daŋ hal a ma boori.»
8And he cried [as] a lion, Lord, I stand continually upon the watchtower in the daytime, and I am set in my ward whole nights.
8 Gaa no batukwa kuuwa sanda muusu beeri cine ka ne: «Ya ay Koyo, zaari ay goono ga kay batuyaŋ cinaro boŋ duumi ka batandi. Cin me-a-me ay go ne ga sinji ay batuyaŋo do.
9-- And behold, there cometh a chariot of men; horsemen by pairs. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.
9 Guna, boro fo go kaa wongu torko ra, Da bari-kari hinka-hinka.» Bora din ne: «Babila kaŋ! A kaŋ! A tooru jabantey kulu mo, Rabbi n'i bagu-bagu kala ganda.»
10O my threshing, and the corn of my floor! What I have heard of Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared unto you.
10 Ya araŋ kaŋ ay safa ay dubango ra, Haŋ kaŋ ay maa Rabbi Kundeykoyo Israyla Irikoyo do, Ay n'a bangandi araŋ se.
11The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?
11 Edom boŋ sanni neeya: Ceyaŋ fo kaa ay do kaŋ fun Seyir ka ne: «Batukwa, man gaa cine no cino to? Batukwa, man gaa cine no cino to?»
12The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will inquire, inquire; return, come.
12 Batukwa mo ne: «Mo boyaŋ go kaa, Cin mo goono ga kaa. D'araŋ ga hã, wa hã, Wa bare mo ka ye ka kaa.»
13The burden against Arabia. In the forest of Arabia shall ye lodge, [ye] caravans of Dedanites.
13 Laarabey laabo boŋ sanni neeya: Ya araŋ Dedancey, sata kaŋ goono ga dira, Laarabey laabu saajo tuurey ra no araŋ ga zumbu.
14Bring ye water to meet the thirsty! The inhabitants of the land of Tema come forth with their bread for him that fleeth.
14 Ya araŋ Tema laabo gorokoy, boro kaŋ maa jaw, W'a kubay da hari, wa zurantey mo kubay da ŋwaari.
15For they flee from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war.
15 Zama takuba se no i zuru, takuba kaŋ go foobante, Da biraw kaŋ i na haw daŋ a ra, da wongu kankami mo.
16For thus hath the Lord said unto me: Within a year, according to the years of a hired servant, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail;
16 Zama yaa no Koy Beero ci ay se: «Ne ka guna jiiri fo, mate kaŋ goy-ize ga goy lasaabu, Kedar darza kulu ga ban.
17and the residue of the number of the archers, the mighty men of the sons of Kedar, shall be diminished: for Jehovah, the God of Israel, hath spoken.
17 Biraw ize cindey, Kedar ize wongaarey ga zabu ka ciya borey kaŋ si baa, zama Rabbi Israyla Irikoyo no ka woodin ci.»
