1Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye peoples from afar. Jehovah hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.
Rabbi n'ay ce za ay go gunde ra, Ay nyaŋo gunda ra no ay go kaŋ a n'ay maa ci.
2And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword, he hath concealed me under the shadow of his hand, and he hath made me a polished shaft: in his quiver hath he hidden me.
2 A n'ay meyo ciya sanda takuba kaano, A n'ay tugu nga kamba biyo cire. A n'ay ciya hangaw ziirante, A n'ay tugu nga tonga ra.
3And he said unto me, Thou art my servant, Israel, in whom I will glorify myself.
3 A ne ay se mo: «Ya Israyla, ni ya ay tamo no kaŋ g'ay darza bangandi.»
4-- And I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought and in vain; nevertheless my judgment is with Jehovah, and my work with my God.
4 Amma ay wo ne: «Ay na taabi yaamo te, Ay n'ay gaabo darandi hinne day no yaamo. Kulu nda yaadin ay cimi ciito go Rabbi do, Ay alhakko mo go ay Irikoyo do.»
5And now, saith Jehovah, that formed me from the womb to be his servant, that I should bring Jacob again to him; (though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorified in the eyes of Jehovah, and my God shall be my strength;)
5 Sohõ binde, Rabbi go ga salaŋ, Nga kaŋ n'ay te za gunde ra zama ay ma ciya nga tam, Zama mo ay ma ye ka kande Yakuba nga do, Baa kaŋ Israyla mana margu. (Kulu nda yaadin ay ya darzante no Rabbi jine, Ay Irikoyo mo no ga ti ay gaabo).
6-- and he saith, It is a small thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel; I have even given thee for a light of the nations, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.
7Thus saith Jehovah, the Redeemer of Israel, his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to the servant of rulers: Kings shall see and arise, princes, and they shall worship, because of Jehovah who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, who hath chosen thee.
7 Ya no Rabbi ci, Nga kaŋ ti Israyla Fansakwa d'a wane Hananyankoyo mo. A go ga salaŋ boro kaŋ i ga donda din se, Nga kaŋ laab'izey ga konna din se, Nga kaŋ ga ti mayraykoyey tam. A ne: «Bonkooney ga di nin, i ga tun mo, Mayraykoyey mo ga sumbal Rabbi sabbay se, Nga kaŋ ti naanaykoy, Israyla wane Hananyankoyo, A na ni suuban mo.»
8Thus saith Jehovah: In a time of acceptance have I answered thee, and in the day of salvation have I helped thee; and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the land, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;
8 Yaa no Rabbi ci: «Alwaati kaŋ ga hagu ra no ay tu ni se, Faaba zaari ra mo no ay na ni gaa. Ay ga ni haggoy mo ka ni ciya alkawli jama se, Zama laabo ma ye ka tun, Ni m'i tubey kaŋ halaci yeti i se koyne.
9saying to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pasture shall be on all bare hills.
9 Ni ma ne kas'izey se: ‹Wa fatta.› Borey kaŋ yaŋ go kubay ra mo, Ni ma ne i se: ‹Wa bangay!› Fondo gaa no i ga kuru, I ga du kuray do mo tondi kuukey kulu boŋ.
10They shall not hunger nor thirst, neither shall the heat nor sun smite them; for he that hath mercy on them will lead them, and by the springs of water will he guide them.
10 I si maa haray wala jaw, Fufule wala wayno mo s'i kar. Zama bora kaŋ ga bakar i se din no g'i candi, A ga furo i jine mo k'i candi ka kond'ey hari zurey me gaa.
11And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be raised up.
11 Ay tondi kuukey kulu mo, kal ay m'i ciya fondo, Ay fondey mo ga bara beene.
12Behold, these shall come from afar; and behold, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.
12 A go, afooyaŋ nangu mooro no i ga fun, Afooyaŋ ga fun azawa kambe nda wayna kaŋay haray, Afooyaŋ mo, Sinim laabu no i ga fun.»
13Shout, ye heavens; and be joyful, thou earth; and break forth into singing, ye mountains: for Jehovah hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted ones.
14But Zion said, Jehovah hath forsaken me, and the Lord hath forgotten me.
14 Amma Sihiyona ne: «Rabbi n'ay furu, Ay Koyo diny'ay gaa mo.»
15Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Even these forget, but I will not forget thee.
15 A ga hin ka te no wayboro ma dinya nga ize naanandi gaa hal a ma jaŋ ka bakar nga ize gunda se? Oho, a ga hin ka te i ma dinya, Amma ay wo, ay si dinya ni gaa bo.
16Lo, I have graven thee upon the palms of [my] hands; thy walls are continually before me.
16 A go, ay na ni jeeri ay kambe faata gaa, Ni birni cinarey mo go ay jine waati kulu.
17Thy sons shall make haste; thy destroyers and they that laid thee waste shall go forth from thee.
18Lift up thine eyes round about and behold: they all gather themselves together, they come to thee. As I live, saith Jehovah, thou shalt indeed clothe thee with them all as with an ornament, and bind them on as a bride doth.
19For [in] thy waste and thy desolate places, and thy destroyed land, thou shalt even now be too straitened by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away.
20The children of thy bereavement shall yet say in thine ears, The place is too narrow for me: make room for me, that I may dwell.
M'iri no batama hal iri ma du naŋ kaŋ ga goro.›
21And thou shalt say in thy heart, Who hath borne me these, seeing I had lost my children and was desolate, an exile, and driven about? and who hath brought up these? behold, I was left alone; these, where were they?
21 Saaya din ni bina ra ni ga ne: ‹May no ka woone yaŋ hay ay se? Zama ay mursu ay izey, ay ciya waygunu da yaw, Ay goono ga koy-da-ye te. Day, woone yaŋ binde, may no k'i biiri? A go, i n'ay naŋ ay hinne. Woone yaŋ binde, man no i fun?› »
22Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations, and set up my banner to the peoples; and they shall bring thy sons in [their] bosom, and thy daughters shall be carried upon the shoulder.
22 Yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: A go, ay g'ay kamba sambu dumi cindey boŋ, Ay ma liiliwal sinji jamayaŋ se. I ga kande ni ize arey ngey gandey ra, I ga ni ize wayey mo sambu ngey jasey gaa.
23And kings shall be thy nursing-fathers, and their princesses thy nursing-mothers: they shall bow down to thee with the face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet. And thou shalt know that I [am] Jehovah; for they shall not be ashamed who wait on me.
23 Bonkooney ga ciya ni biirikoyaŋ, I wayboro bonkooney mo ga ni hampa. I ga sumbal ni jine, i moydumey go ganda, I ma kusa kaŋ go ni cey gaa loogu. Ni ga bay mo kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi.
24Shall the prey be taken from the mighty? and shall he that is rightfully captive be delivered?
24 I ga hin ka arzaka kom wongaari gaa no? Tam ga hin ka fun mayraykoy laalo kambe ra no?
25For thus saith Jehovah: Even the captive of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered; and I will strive with him that striveth with thee, and I will save thy children.
25 Zama yaa no Rabbi ci: Baa wongaari waney kaŋ i di, Ay g'i ta i gaa. Mayraykoy laaley wongu arzaka mo ga du ka koma. Zama ay no ga gurjay da bora kaŋ ga gurjay da nin. Ay ga ni ize arey faaba mo.
26And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with new wine. And all flesh shall know that I, Jehovah, [am] thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
26 Borey kaŋ ga ni kankam mo, Ay g'i no ngey bumbey gaaham basey i ma ŋwa. I ga bugu nda ngey bumbey kuri danga duvan kaano cine.
