1And Job answered and said,
1 Gaa no Ayuba tu ka ne:
2Truly ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you!
2 «Sikka si araŋ no ga ti bayraykooney, Laakal mo ga bu araŋ banda!
3I also have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you; and who knoweth not such things as these?
3 Amma ay mo gonda fahamay, manti araŋ hinne no bo. Yana gaze araŋ gaa. Day, man boro kaŋ si harey din dumi bay?
4I am to be one that is a derision to his friend, I who call upon +God, and whom he will answer: a derision is the just upright [man].
4 I n'ay ciya danga boro kaŋ te haari hari nga coro se. Ay, boro kaŋ na adduwa te Irikoy gaa, A tu ay se mo. Adilante no ay, cimi toonante koy, I n'ay ciya haari hari mo.
5He that is ready to stumble with the foot is a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.
5 Boro kaŋ goono ga maa ndunnya kaani, A bina ra a ga donda masiiba ka ne a go soolante boro kaŋ ca ga ba ka tansi din se.
6The tents of desolators are in peace, and they that provoke ùGod are secure; into whose hand +God bringeth.
6 Fondo kosaraykoy nangorayey ga te albarka, Borey kaŋ yaŋ ga Irikoy zokoti mo ga goro baani samay, I gonda ngey tooro mo ga gaay ngey kambey ra.
7But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowl of the heavens, and they shall tell thee;
7 Amma sohõ ni ma ganji hamey hã, I ga ni dondonandi mo. Beene batama curayzey mo ga ci ni se.
8Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee; and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
8 Wala ma salaŋ ganda laabo se, a ga ni dondonandi. Teeku hamey mo ga dede ni se.
9Who knoweth not in all these, that the hand of Jehovah hath wrought this?
9 Woodin yaŋ kulu ra, Man wo kaŋ mana bay kaŋ Rabbi kamba no ka woodin goy?
10In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the spirit of all flesh of man.
10 A kambe ra no fundikooni kulu fundi bara, Hala nda Adam-izey kulu fulanzam funsuyaŋey.
11Doth not the ear try words, as the palate tasteth food?
11 Hanga, manti a ga sanni neesi no, Sanda mate kaŋ cine deene ga nga ŋwaaro taba?
12With the aged is wisdom, and in length of days understanding.

13With him is wisdom and might; he hath counsel and understanding.
13 Irikoy se no laakal da hina bara, A do mo no saaware da fahamay go.
14Behold, he breaketh down, and it is not built again; he shutteth up a man, and there is no opening.
14 A go, a ga zeeri, daama si no borey ma ye ka cina. A ga boro daabu, fitiyaŋ daama si no mo.
15Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up; and he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.
15 A ga beene hari ganji, hala nango ma koogu, Koyne, a ga ye k'a taŋ mo, Hal a ma laabu ŋwa.
16With him is strength and effectual knowledge; the deceived and the deceiver are his.

17He leadeth counsellors away spoiled, and judges maketh he fools;
17 A ga saawarekoy ku ka kond'ey, A ga alkaaley ciya saamoyaŋ.
18He weakeneth the government of kings, and bindeth their loins with a fetter;
18 A ga bonkooney hawyaŋ sisirey feeri, K'i cantey haw da guddama.
19He leadeth priests away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty;
19 A ga alfagey ku ka kond'ey, A ga hinkoyey mo zeeri.
20He depriveth of speech the trusty, and taketh away the judgment of the elders;
20 A ga sanni gonitaraykoyey dangandi, A ga dottijey fayanka ta i gaa mo.
21He poureth contempt upon nobles, and slackeneth the girdle of the mighty;
21 A ga donda-caray gusam koy-izey boŋ, A ga gaabikooney guddamey feeri.
22He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out into light the shadow of death;

23He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them; he spreadeth out the nations, and bringeth them in;

24He taketh away the understanding of the chiefs of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a pathless waste.
24 A ga ndunnya boro beerey fahamay ta i gaa, A ga naŋ i ma te boŋdaray saaji ra naŋ kaŋ fondo si no.
25They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunkard.
25 I goono ga dadab kubay ra, kaari si no. A ga naŋ i ma dira ka teeni sanda boro kaŋ bugu cine.
