1Moreover Elihu answered and said,
1 Elihu ye ka salaŋ koyne ka ne:
2Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than ùGod's?
2 «Woone ga saba ni diyaŋ gaa no, kaŋ ni ga ne: ‹Ay adilitara ga bisa Irikoy wane?›
3For thou hast asked of what profit it is unto thee: what do I gain more than if I had sinned?
3 Zama ni goono ga ne, Nafa woofo no a ga te ni se? Wala: ‹Ifo no a ga hanse ay se, Kaŋ ay mana zunubi te?›
4I will reply to thee in words, and to thy companions with thee.
4 Kal ay ma tu ni se, nin da ni corey kulu care banda:
5Look unto the heavens and see; and survey the skies: they are higher than thou.
5 Guna beene haray ka di, Guna beene burey gaa haray, Wo kaŋ yaŋ go ni se beene.
6If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? If thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?
6 Baa ni na zunubi te, Zamba woofo dumi no ni te Irikoy se? Baa ni zunubey te labu-care, ifo no woodin ga te a se?
7If thou be righteous, what givest thou to him? or what doth he receive of thy hand?
7 Baa ni ya adilante no, ni n'a no hay fo, wala? Ifo mo no a ta ni kambe ra?
8Thy wickedness [may affect] a man as thou [art], and thy righteousness a son of man.

9By reason of the multitude of oppressions they cry; they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty:

10But none saith, Where is +God my Maker, who giveth songs in the night,
10 Amma boro kulu si ne: ‹Man no Irikoy ay Takakwa go, Nga kaŋ ga borey no dooniyaŋ cin haray?
11Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowl of the heavens?
11 A g'iri dondonandi bayray ka bisa ganji hamey wane, Ka naŋ iri ma bisa beene curey laakal.›
12There they cry, and he answereth not, because of the pride of evil men.

13Surely ùGod will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.
13 Daahir, Irikoy si maa ceeyaŋ yaamo, Hina-Kulu-Koyo si woodin saal,
14Although thou sayest thou dost not see him, judgment is before him, therefore wait for him.
14 Sanku fa binde kaŋ ni ga ne ni mana di a! Ciiti sanno go a jine, kala ni m'a batu.
15But now, because he hath not visited in his anger, doth not [Job] know [his] great arrogancy?
15 Sohõ mo, zama a mana bana nga futa ra, Wala a mana borey saamotara saal, baa kayna,
16For Job hath opened his mouth in vanity, and made words abundant without knowledge.
16 Woodin se no Ayuba goono ga nga meyo fiti da sanni kaŋ sinda nafa. A goono ga sanni kaŋ yaŋ sinda bayray tonton.»
