1And Elihu proceeded and said,
1 Elihu ye ka ne:
2Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet words for +God.
2 «Suuru ay se kayna, hal ay ma ni cabe, Zama hala ka kaa sohõ haŋ kaŋ boro ga ci Irikoy se go no.
3I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Creator.
3 Nangu mooro no ay g'ay bayra candi ka kande, Ay g'ay Takakwa adilandi mo.
4For truly my words shall be no falsehood: one perfect in knowledge is with thee.
4 Zama daahir ay sanney manti tangari wane yaŋ no, Boro fo kaŋ gonda bayray toonante go ni banda.
5Lo, ùGod is mighty, but despiseth not [any]; mighty in strength of understanding:
5 Guna, Irikoy ya Hinkoy no, Amma a si donda boro kulu, Hinkoy mo no fahamay gaabi ra.
6He saveth not the wicked alive; but he doeth justice to the afflicted.
6 A si boro laaley fundey haggoy, Amma a ga taabantey no haŋ kaŋ ga saba i se.
7He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous, but with kings on the throne doth he even set them for ever; and they are exalted.
7 A si nga moy kaa adilantey gaa mo, Amma a g'i daŋ bonkooney banda karga boŋ hal abada, i m'i beerandi mo.
8And if, bound in fetters, they be held in cords of affliction,
8 D'i n'i haw da sisiriyaŋ, I n'i di mo da taabi korfoyaŋ,
9Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions, because they have increased.
9 Saaya din kal a m'i goyey d'i taaley bangandi i se, Mate kaŋ i na boŋbeeray cabe nd'a.
10And he openeth their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.
10 A g'i hangey fiti i ma maa dondonandiyaŋ, A g'i lordi mo ka ne i ma bare ka fay da goy laalo.
11If they hearken and serve [him], they shall accomplish their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
11 D'i saal, hal i may a se, I ga ngey jirbey kubandi albarka ra, I ma ngey jiirey te kaani maayaŋ ra.
12But if they hearken not, they shall pass away by the sword, and expire without knowledge.
12 Amma d'i mana saal, Takuba no g'i halaci, I ma bu mo bayray si.
13But the godless in heart heap up anger; they cry not when he bindeth them:
13 Amma borey kaŋ yaŋ sinda Irikoy ganayaŋ ngey biney ra ga futay jisi no ngey boŋ se, I si gaakasinay hẽeni te d'a n'i haw.
14Their soul dieth in youth, and their life is among the unclean.
14 Arwasutaray ra no i ga bu. I fundey ga ban tooru maa gaa aru-ci-wayey banda.
15But he delivereth the afflicted in his affliction, and openeth their ear in [their] oppression.
15 A ga taabantey faaba ngey taabi haŋyaŋo ra. A g'i hangey fiti kankami do.
16Even so would he have allured thee out of the jaws of distress into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and the supply of thy table [would be] full of fatness.
16 Oho, doŋ a goono ga ba nga ma ni candi ni ma fun taabi bi wo ra, A ma kande nin ka daŋ nangu tafo ra, Naŋ kaŋ sinda kankami. Naŋ kaŋ a dake ni taablo boŋ doŋ mo, woodin to da ji.
17But thou art full of the judgments of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold [on thee].
17 Amma sohõ ni to da boro laaley boŋ ciiti, Hala ciiti nda cimi ciiti na ni di.
18Because there is wrath, [beware] lest it take thee away through chastisement: then a great ransom could not avail thee.
18 Ma laakal hala biniyay ma si ni candi ni ma dond'a, Fansa beera mo ma naŋ ni ma kamba.
19Will he esteem thy riches? Not gold, nor all the resources of strength!
19 Ni arzakey, wala mo ni gaabo hina kulu me, I ga wasa i ma ni wa da kankami no, wala?
20Desire not the night, when peoples are cut off from their place.
20 Ma si yalla-yalla nda cin, Naŋ kaŋ i ga borey daŋ i ma daray ngey nangora ra.
21Take heed, turn not to iniquity; for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.
21 Ma haggoy, ma si laakal bare ka ye goy laalo gaa, Zama woodin no ni suuban ka bisa taabi haŋyaŋ.
22Lo, ùGod is exalted in his power: who teacheth as he?
22 Guna, Irikoy gonda koytaray nga hino ra, May no ga te dondonandiko sanda a cine?
23Who hath appointed him his way? or who hath said, Thou hast wrought unrighteousness?
23 May no ka fondo daŋ a se? May no ga ne a se mo: ‹Ni na goy laalo te?›
24Remember that thou magnify his work, which men celebrate.
24 Ma fongu day, k'a goyo beerandi kaŋ borey doon.
25All men look at it; man beholdeth [it] afar off.
25 Borey kulu di a, Boro g'a fonnay za nangu mooro.
26Lo, ùGod is great, and we comprehend [him] not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
26 Guna, Irikoy ya beeraykoy no, Iri s'a bay mo. A jiirey baayaŋ bisa haŋ kaŋ boro ga fintal.
27For he draweth up the drops of water: they distil in rain from the vapour which he formeth,
27 Zama a ga hari tolliyaŋ candi i ma ziji beene, I ga ciya buuda, i ma sarre.
28Which the skies pour down [and] drop upon man abundantly.
28 Beene burey g'i gusam ganda mo, I goono ga tolli boro boŋ da yulwa.
29But can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, [or] the crashing of his pavilion?
29 Boro fo go no kaŋ g'a hirriyaŋey daaruyaŋ bay no? Sanda a nangoray tanda kaatiyaŋ nooya?
30Lo, he spreadeth his light around him, and covereth the bottom of the sea.
30 Guna, a ga nga boŋ windi nda kaari, A ga teeko ganda daabu.
31For with them he judgeth the peoples; he giveth food in abundance.
31 Zama woodin yaŋ do no a ga dumey ciiti, A ga ŋwaari no mo nda yulwa.
32[His] hands he covereth with lightning, and commandeth it where it is to strike.
32 A ga nga kambey daabu nda maliyaŋ, A n'a no lordi mo a ma goo hay tak!
33His thundering declareth concerning him; the cattle even, concerning its coming.
33 A kaatiyaŋo g'a baaro no, Hawey mo ga maa hirriyaŋ kaŋ ga ba ka kaa baaru.
