Job

37

1Aye, my heart trembleth at this also, and leapeth up out of its place:
1 Woodin boŋ mo ay bina goono ga jijiri. A ga fittaw ka sosoro nga nango ra.
2Hear attentively the roar of his voice, and the murmur going forth from his mouth.
2 Wa hanga jeeri Irikoy kaatiyaŋo jinda se, Da dunduyaŋ mo kaŋ go ga fun a meyo ra!
3He sendeth it forth under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.
3 A g'a taŋ a ma koy hala beena me, A maliyaŋo mo go ga koy hala ndunnya jabo me.
4After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency, and holdeth not back the flashes when his voice is heard.
4 A banda mo kala jinde fo mo ma dundu, A ga kaati nda nga koytara jinda. A mana maliyaŋey ganji mo waati kaŋ borey maa a jinda.
5ùGod thundereth marvellously with his voice, doing great things which we do not comprehend.
5 Irikoy ga kaati nda nga jinda kaŋ ga dambarandi. Goy bambata yaŋ no a ga te, Kaŋ ga bisa iri fahama.
6For he saith to the snow, Fall on the earth! and to the pouring rain, even the pouring rains of his might.
6 Zama a ga ne neezo* se: ‹Ma kaŋ ganda!› Yaadin mo no a ga ci buru harey da hirriyaŋ bambatey se, Ka ne: ‹Wa te gaabi!›
7He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.
7 A na kawaatimi daŋ boro kulu kambe gaa, Zama boro kulu kaŋ a taka, i m'a goyo bay.
8And the wild beast goeth into its lair, and they remain in their dens.
8 Waato din no ganji hamey ga tuguyaŋ do ceeci, I ga goro ngey guusey ra.
9From the chamber [of the south] cometh the whirlwind; and cold from the winds of the north.
9 Dandi kambe haray no hari haw bambata ga fun, Azawa kambe mo kala hargu.
10By the breath of ùGod ice is given; and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
10 Irikoy fulanzama ra no gari ga kaa, Harey kaŋ yaŋ ga tafay mo ga sandi ka ciya glas*.
11Also with plentiful moisture he loadeth the thick clouds, his light dispels the cloud;
11 Oho, a ga leema jaraw beeri dake hirriyaŋ kaso boŋ, A ga nga maliyaŋ buro daaru.
12And they are turned every way by his guidance, that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the circuit of the earth,
12 Buro mo ga bare ka ye nango kaŋ Irikoy n'a miila zama a ma du ka hay kulu kaŋ a lordi te ndunnya fando me-a-me boŋ, Nango kaŋ borey bara da goray.
13Whether he cause it to come as a rod, or for his land, or in mercy.
13 Hala goojiyaŋ sabbay se no, Wala a laabo nafa sabbay se no, Wala mo suuji sabbay se no, A ga naŋ i ma te.
14Hearken unto this, Job; stand still and discern the wondrous works of ùGod.
14 Ya nin Ayuba, ni ma hangan ka maa woone. Ma kay hinne ka laakal ye Irikoy goyey kaŋ ga dambarandi yaŋ gaa.
15Dost thou know how +God hath disposed them, and how he causeth the lightning of his cloud to flash?
15 Ni ga bay waati kaŋ no Irikoy ga woodin yaŋ tabbatandi, wala? Ni ga bay mate kaŋ a ga naŋ nga hirriyaŋo maliyaŋ ga kaari nd'a, wala?
16Dost thou know about the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him that is perfect in knowledge?
16 Wala ni ga bay mate kaŋ cine no a ga burey sarku nd'a? Nga kaŋ bayray toonantekoy no dambara goyey ra.
17How thy garments become warm when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?
17 Nin kaŋ ni bankaaray gonda dungay, Waati kaŋ batama go siw, dandi kambe hawo sabbay se,
18Hast thou with him spread out the sky, firm, like a molten mirror?
18 Ni ga hin ka beene batama daabu sanda Irikoy cine no? Ni ga naŋ a ma sandi danga diji kaŋ i soogu cine no?
19Teach us what we shall say unto him! We cannot order [our words] by reason of darkness.
19 To. M'iri dondonandi haŋ kaŋ iri ga ci a se, Zama iri wo si waani ka iri sanney soola kuba sabbay se.
20Shall it be told him if I would speak? if a man [so] say, surely he shall be swallowed up.
20 Boro ga ne a se: ‹Ay ga ba ya salaŋ›, wala? Wala baa boro salaŋ, daahir i g'a gon no.
21And now [men] see not the light as it gleameth, it is [hidden] in the skies. But the wind passeth by and cleareth them.
21 Sohõ binde borey si hin ka kaaro kaŋ goono ga kaari beene din guna. Da haw faaru ka bisa, a n'a haabu mo.
22From the north cometh gold; with +God is terrible majesty.
22 Azawa ra no darza kaŋ ga hima wura goono ga fun. Irikoy goono ga daabu nda koytaray darza kaŋ ga humburandi.
23The Almighty, we cannot find him out: excellent in power, and in judgment, and in abundance of justice, he doth not afflict.
23 Hina-Kulu-Koyo! -- A bisa iri hal iri si du k'a bay. A beeri nda hay kulu hin ra. A si adilitaray kaŋ yulwa nda cimi ciiti sara mo.
24Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.
24 Woodin se no borey ga humbur'a, A si baar'a-baar'a te boro kulu kaŋ gonda laakal bine ra se.»
