1And Jehovah answered Job and said,

2Shall he that will contend with the Almighty instruct [him]? he that reproveth +God, let him answer it.

3And Job answered Jehovah and said,
3 Daahir, ni g'ay ciito ganandi no? Ni g'ay zeeri zama se nin wo ma ciya adilante no?
4Behold, I am nought: what shall I answer thee? I will lay my hand upon my mouth.
4 Ni gonda kambe sanda Irikoy cine no? Wala ni ga hin ka kaati nda jinde sanda Irikoy cine no?
5Once have I spoken, and I will not answer; yea twice, but I will proceed no further.

6And Jehovah answered Job out of the whirlwind and said,
6 Ma ni futay booba mun, Ma boŋbeeraykoy kulu guna k'a kaynandi.
7Gird up now thy loins like a man: I will demand of thee, and inform thou me.
7 Ma boŋbeeraykoy kulu guna k'a ye ganda, Ma boro laaley taamu-taamu nangey kaŋ i bara ga kay.
8Wilt thou also annul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me that thou mayest be righteous?
8 M'i tugu care banda kusa ra, M'i haw tuguyaŋ do.
9Hast thou an arm like ùGod? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
9 Waato din gaa kal ay ma ni seeda, Ka ne ni kambe ŋwaari hino no ga hin ka ni faaba.
10Deck thyself now with glory and excellency, and clothe thyself with majesty and splendour.
10 Guna Behemot kaŋ ay te ni banda, A ga subu ŋwa sanda haw cine.
11Cast abroad the ragings of thine anger, and look on every one that is proud, and abase him:
11 Guna, a gaabo go a kungurso ra. A hino mo go a gunde baso ra.
12Look on every one that is proud, bring him low, and tread down the wicked in their place:

13Hide them in the dust together; bind their faces in secret.

14Then will I also praise thee, because thy right hand saveth thee.

15See now the behemoth, which I made with thee: he eateth grass as an ox.

16Behold now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the muscles of his belly.
16 Lotus* tuuri cire no a ga kani, Kuubu zugu beeri nda farro ra no.
17He bendeth his tail like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are woven together.
17 Lotus tuurey ga te a se bi, Gooru ra windi bundu no g'a windi.
18His bones are tubes of bronze, his members are like bars of iron.
18 Guna, baa isa na bonday tunandi, nga wo si jijiri. A laakalo ga kani, Baa Urdun* isa haro furo hal a meyo gaa.
19He is the chief of ùGod's ways: he that made him gave him his sword.
19 Boro fo go no kaŋ g'a di waati kaŋ a go ga batu? Wala man boro kaŋ g'a niina fun nda guuru darb'ize?
20For the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.
20 Ni ga hin ka Lebiyatan* candi nda darb'ize no? Wala m'a deena naan da korfo?
21He lieth under lotus-bushes, in the covert of the reed and fen:
21 Ni ga hin ka korfo daŋ a niina ra no? Wala m'a garbey fun ka goti daŋ i gaa?
22Lotus-bushes cover him with their shade; the willows of the brook surround him.
22 A ga ni ŋwaaray gumo no? A ga sanni baano te ni se, wala?
23Lo, the river overfloweth -- he startleth not: he is confident though a Jordan break forth against his mouth.
23 A ga alkawli sambu ni se no? Wala ni g'a di a ma ciya ni bannya no hal abada?
24Shall he be taken in front? will they pierce through [his] nose in the trap?
24 Ni ga fooru nd'a sanda curayze cine no? Wala mo ni g'a haw zama a ma ciya ni wandiyey se foori hari no?
25 Hari ham neerako jama g'a hayci yaŋ te, wala? Wala i g'a fay fatawc'izey game ra?
26 Ni ga hin k'a kuuro hay nda harji no? Wala ni g'a boŋo toonandi nda hari-ham diire loloyaŋ?
27 Da ni na kambe dake a gaa ce folloŋ, Ni ga fongu nda tangamo, ni si ye k'a filla bo!
28 Guna, ni tammahãyaŋo wo yaamo no, Baa a diyaŋo, manti a ga naŋ boro gaa ma yay?
