1And it came to pass on [the] second-first sabbath, that he went through cornfields, and his disciples were plucking the ears and eating [them], rubbing [them] in their hands.
1 A go no mo, asibti* zaari fo hane, Yesu goono ga gana farey ra. A talibey go mo ga jeeney ceeri ka musay ngey kambey ra ka kaama.
2But some of the Pharisees said to them, Why do ye what is not lawful to do on the sabbath?
3And Jesus answering said to them, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did when he hungered, he and those who were with him,
4how he entered into the house of God and took the shewbread and ate, and gave to those also who were with him, which it is not lawful that [any] eat, unless the priests alone?
4 A furo Irikoy fuwo ra ka buuru* jisanta sambu ka ŋwa, k'a no mo nga borey se. Buuro din mo, a mana halal boro kulu se a m'a ŋwa, kala day alfagey hinne.»
5And he said to them, The Son of man is Lord of the sabbath also.
5 A ne i se mo: «Boro Izo ya asibti zaari Koyo no.»
6And it came to pass on another sabbath also that he entered into the synagogue and taught; and there was a man there, and his right hand was withered.
6 Asibti zaari fo koyne, a furo Yahudance diina marga fuwo ra ka borey dondonandi. Boro fo go noodin kaŋ a kambe ŋwaaro suugu.
7And the scribes and the Pharisees were watching if he would heal on the sabbath, that they might find something of which to accuse him.
7 Asariya dondonandikoy da Farisi fonda borey mo goono ga Yesu mo-kuru-kuru ka di hal a ga baani nooyaŋ te asibti zaaro ra, zama i ma du k'a kalima se.
8But *he* knew their thoughts, and said to the man who had the withered hand, Get up, and stand in the midst. And having risen up he stood [there].
8 Amma a g'i miiley bay.
9Jesus therefore said to them, I will ask you if it is lawful on the sabbath to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy [it]?
9 Yesu binde ne i se: «Ay g'araŋ hã hal a ga halal boro ma goy hanno te asibti zaaro ra, wala a ma goy laalo te? I ma fundi faaba wala i m'a halaci?»
10And having looked around on them all, he said to him, Stretch out thy hand. And he did [so] and his hand was restored as the other.
10 A n'i kulu guna, gaa no a ne bora din se: «Ma ni kamba salle.» Nga mo te yaadin, a kamba mo du baani.
11But *they* were filled with madness, and they spoke together among themselves what they should do to Jesus.
12And it came to pass in those days that he went out into the mountain to pray, and he spent the night in prayer to God.
12 A go no mo, jirbey din ra, kaŋ Yesu fatta ka koy tondi kuuko boŋ zama nga ma te adduwa, a hanna ka te adduwa Irikoy gaa.
13And when it was day he called his disciples, and having chosen out twelve from them, whom also he named apostles:
13 Waato kaŋ mo bo, a na nga talibey ce nga do ka iway cindi hinka suuban i game ra, kaŋ yaŋ mo a ne i se diyayaŋ*.
14Simon, to whom also he gave the name of Peter, and Andrew his brother, [and] James and John, [and] Philip and Bartholomew,

17and having descended with them, he stood on a level place, and a crowd of his disciples, and a great multitude of the people from all Judaea and Jerusalem, and the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;
Boro boobo margu mo kaŋ yaŋ kaa ka fun Yahudiya ra, da Urusalima ra, da Tir* da Zidon* kwaarey ra, kaŋ yaŋ go teeko me gaa.
18and those that were beset by unclean spirits were healed.
18 I kaa zama ngey ma hangan ka maa, zama a m'i no baani mo ngey jantey gaa. Borey kaŋ follayyaŋ goono g'i gurzugandi mo, a n'i no baani.
19And all the crowd sought to touch him, for power went out from him and healed all.
19 Hala marga kulu ceeci ngey ma lamb'a gaa, zama dabari goono ga fun a do k'i kulu no baani.
20And *he*, lifting up his eyes upon his disciples, said, Blessed [are] ye poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.
20 Yesu mo, waato kaŋ a na nga talibey guna, a ne: «Albarkantey no araŋ wo talkey, Zama Irikoy koytara ya araŋ wane no.
21Blessed ye that hunger now, for ye shall be filled. Blessed ye that weep now, for ye shall laugh.
21 Albarkantey no araŋ wo sohõ harayzey, Zama i g'araŋ kungandi. Albarkantey no araŋ wo sohõ hẽenikoyey, Zama araŋ ga aniya ka haaru.
22Blessed are ye when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you [from them], and shall reproach [you], and cast out your name as wicked, for the Son of man's sake:
22 Albarkantey no araŋ waati kaŋ borey ga konna araŋ, waati kaŋ i g'araŋ fay waani, K'araŋ wow, k'araŋ maa furu danga boro laaloyaŋ no, Ay wo, Boro Izo sabbay se.
23rejoice in that day and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in the heaven, for after this manner did their fathers act toward the prophets.
23 Wa farhã han din hane ka sar bine kaani sabbay se, zama wa guna, araŋ alhakku beero go no beena ra. Zama yaadin cine no i kaayey te annabey se.
24But woe to you rich, for ye have received your consolation.
24 Amma kaari araŋ wo, sohõ arzakantey! Zama araŋ gonda araŋ wane kunfa sohõ.
25Woe to you that are filled, for ye shall hunger. Woe to you who laugh now, for ye shall mourn and weep.
25 Kaari araŋ wo kaŋ yaŋ ga kungu sohõ! Zama araŋ ga aniya ka maa haray. Kaari araŋ wo kaŋ yaŋ ga haaru sohõ! Zama araŋ ga aniya ka hẽ ka baray.
26Woe, when all men speak well of you, for after this manner did their fathers to the false prophets.
26 Kaari araŋ waati kaŋ boro kulu ga saabu araŋ se! Zama yaadin cine no i kaayey te tangari annabey se.
27But to you that hear I say, Love your enemies; do good to those that hate you;
28bless those that curse you; pray for those who use you despitefully.
29To him that smites thee on the cheek, offer also the other; and from him that would take away thy garment, forbid not thy body-coat also.
30To every one that asks of thee, give; and from him that takes away what is thine, ask it not back.
31And as ye wish that men should do to you, do *ye* also to them in like manner.
31 Mate kaŋ araŋ ga ba borey ma te araŋ se, araŋ mo ma te i se yaadin.
32And if ye love those that love you, what thank is it to you? for even sinners love those that love them.
32 D'araŋ ga ba araŋ baakoy, saabuyaŋ woofo no araŋ se? Baa zunubikooney ga ba ngey baakoy.
33And if ye do good to those that do good to you, what thank is it to you? for even sinners do the same.
34And if ye lend to those from whom ye hope to receive, what thank is it to you? [for] even sinners lend to sinners that they may receive the like.
34 Da mo araŋ ga garaw no ngey se kaŋ yaŋ araŋ gonda beeje i gaa araŋ ga du a, saabuyaŋ woofo no araŋ se? Baa zunubikooney ga garaw no zunubikooniyaŋ se hal i ma ye ka du mate kaŋ i no din.
35But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return, and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be sons of [the] Highest; for *he* is good to the unthankful and wicked.
35 Amma araŋ ma ba araŋ ibarey. Wa ihanno te. Wa garaw no amma wa si bine daŋ. Yaadin gaa no araŋ alhakko ga baa.
36Be ye therefore merciful, even as your Father also is merciful.
36 Araŋ ma ciya bakarawkoyyaŋ, mate kaŋ araŋ Baabo ya Bakarawkoy no.
37And judge not, and ye shall not be judged; condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned. Remit, and it shall be remitted to you.
Wa naŋ, i g'araŋ naŋ mo.
38Give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall be given into your bosom: for with the same measure with which ye mete it shall be measured to you again.
38 Araŋ ma no, i g'araŋ no mo. Neesiji hanno, kaŋ i kankam, kaŋ i zinji, kaŋ to hal a ga mun, yaadin no i g'a no araŋ ganda ra. Zama neesijo kaŋ araŋ ga neesi nd'a din, nga no i ga neesi nd'a araŋ se.»
39And he spoke also a parable to them: Can a blind [man] lead a blind [man]? shall not both fall into [the] ditch?
39 Kal a na yaasay fo ci i se mo ka ne: «Danaw ga hin ka goobu candi danaw fo se? Manti ihinka kulu ga kaŋ goota ra no?
40The disciple is not above his teacher, but every one that is perfected shall be as his teacher.
40 Talibi si bisa nga alfaga, amma afo kulu, waati kaŋ a to, a ga ciya danga nga alfaga cine.
41But why lookest thou on the mote which is in the eye of thy brother, but perceivest not the beam which is in thine own eye?
41 Ifo se no ni ga sub'izo kaŋ go ni nya-izo mwa ra guna, amma ni baa si nda bundo kaŋ go ni bumbo din mwa ra?
42or how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, allow [me], I will cast out the mote that is in thine eye, thyself not seeing the beam that is in thine eye? Hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine eye, and then thou shalt see clear to cast out the mote which is in the eye of thy brother.
42 Wala mate ni ga te ka ne ni nya-izo se: ‹Ay nya-izo, naŋ ya sub'izo kaŋ go ni mwa ra din kaa,› amma ni siino ga di bundo kaŋ go ni bumbo mwa ra? Nin, munafico! Ma bundo kaa ni bumbo mwa ra jina, gaa no ni ga di gumo ka sub'izo kaŋ go ni nya-izo mwa ra din kaa.
43For there is no good tree which produces corrupt fruit, nor a corrupt tree which produces good fruit;
43 Tuuri-nya hanno si no kaŋ ga ize laalo hay, tuuri-nya laalo mo si no kaŋ ga ize hanno hay.
44for every tree is known by its own fruit, for figs are not gathered from thorns, nor grapes vintaged from a bramble.
44 Zama tuuri-nya kulu, i g'a bay nga izey do. I si jeejay ize kosu karji nya gaa, wala mo i si reyzin* ize kosu ngarfu nya gaa.
45The good man, out of the good treasure of his heart, brings forth good; and the wicked [man] out of the wicked, brings forth what is wicked: for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
45 Boro hanno, nga bina jisiri hanna ra no a ga ihanno kaa taray. Boro laalo mo, nga bina jisiri laala ra no a ga ilaalo kaa taray. Zama haŋ kaŋ na bine to no me ga ci.
46And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things that I say?
46 Ifo se binde araŋ ga ne ay se: ‹Rabbi, Rabbi,› kaŋ araŋ si te hari kaŋ ay ga ci?
47Every one that comes to me, and hears my words and does them, I will shew you to whom he is like.
47 Boro kulu kaŋ ga kaa ay do ka maa ay sanney, k'i te mo, ay g'araŋ cabe haŋ kaŋ a ga hima nd'a.
48He is like a man building a house, who dug and went deep, and laid a foundation on the rock; but a great rain coming, the stream broke upon that house, and could not shake it, for it had been founded on the rock.
Waato kaŋ hari kaŋ, hari zuray mo kar fuwo din gaa, a mana du k'a zinji, zama i n'a cina ka boori.
49And he that has heard and not done, is like a man who has built a house on the ground without [a] foundation, on which the stream broke, and immediately it fell, and the breach of that house was great.
49 Amma boro kaŋ maa, a man'a te, a ga hima boro fo kaŋ na fu cina hari zuru fondo taasi boŋ, a mana daba sinjiyaŋ kulu te. Hari zuray kar a gaa, hala sahãadin d'a a kaŋ. Fuwo din kaŋyaŋ mo ga laala.»
