1Give ye thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; make known his acts among the peoples.

2Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him; meditate upon all his wondrous works.

3Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah.
3 Wa fooma nd'a maa hanna. Rabbi ceecikoy biney ma kaan.
4Seek Jehovah and his strength, seek his face continually;
4 Wa Rabbi nda nga hino ceeci, w'a ceeci duumi,
5Remember his wondrous works which he hath done, his miracles and the judgments of his mouth:
5 Ya araŋ, a tamo Ibrahim banda, Ya araŋ Yakuba izey, a wane suubanantey, Wa fongu nd'a dambara goyey kaŋ a te, D'a alaamey, d'a meyo ciiti sanney mo.
6Ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.
7 Nga no ga ti Rabbi iri Irikoyo, A ciitey go ndunnya kulu ra.
7He, Jehovah, is our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
8 A fongu nga alkawlo gaa hal abada, Sanno din kaŋ a lordi zamana zambar se.
8He is ever mindful of his covenant, -- the word which he commanded to a thousand generations, --
9 Alkawlo kaŋ a sambu Ibrahim se, Da zeyaŋo kaŋ a ze d'a Isaka se,
9Which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
10 A n'a tabbatandi Yakuba se a ma ciya hin sanni, Sanda Israyla se nooya a ma ciya alkawli kaŋ ga duumi,
10And he confirmed it unto Jacob for a statute, unto Israel for an everlasting covenant,
11 A goono ga ne: «Ni se no ay ga Kanaana laabo no, Ni baa tubo no.»
11Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;
12 Waato kaŋ i go boro ciraariyaŋ, Oho, ikayna fooyaŋ no, yawyaŋ mo no laabo ra,
12When they were a few men in number, of small account, and strangers in it.
13 I di ka bar-bare kunda ka koy kunda, Koytaray fo ka koy jama fo do koyne.
13And they went from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
14 A mana naŋ boro fo kulu m'i kankam. A deeni bonkooniyaŋ gaa i sabbay se.
14He suffered no man to oppress them, and reproved kings for their sakes,
15 A ne: «Araŋ ma s'ay wane suubanantey ham, Wa si hasaraw te ay annabey se mo.»
15[Saying,] Touch not mine anointed ones, and do my prophets no harm.
16 A na haray candi ka kande laabo gaa, A na ŋwaari kaŋ gaa i ga de kulu ceeri.
16And he called for a famine upon the land; he broke the whole staff of bread.
17 A na boro fo donton i jine, Kaŋ ga ti Yusufu, bora kaŋ i neera a ma ciya tam.
17He sent a man before them: Joseph was sold for a bondman.
18 I n'a cey maray da baka*, i n'a daŋ guuru-bi ra.
18They afflicted his feet with fetters; his soul came into irons;
19 Hala waati kaŋ a sanno to, Rabbi sanno n'a neesi mo.
19Until the time when what he said came about: the word of Jehovah tried him.
20 Bonkoono donton ka ne i m'a feeri. Sanda dumey dabarikwa nooya, a n'a kaa ka taŋ.
20The king sent and loosed him -- the ruler of peoples -- and let him go free.
21 A n'a daŋ a ma ciya nga windo jine boro, Kaŋ g'a mayray harey kulu dabari.
21He made him lord of his house, and ruler over all his possessions:
22 Zama a ma bonkoono mayraykoyey haw mate kaŋ nga ga ba, A m'a arkusey dondonandi laakal muraadu.
22To bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom.
23 Israyla mo koy Misira ra, Yakuba binde na yawtaray te Ham laabo ra.
23And Israel came into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 Rabbi naŋ nga borey ma baa gumo, A naŋ i ma bisa ngey yanjekaarey gaabi.
24And he made his people exceeding fruitful, and made them mightier than their oppressors.
25 Rabbi na Misirancey biney bare i ma konna nga borey, I ma hiila te nga tamey se.
25He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
26 Amma a na nga tamo Musa donton, Da Haruna mo kaŋ a suuban.
26He sent Moses his servant, [and] Aaron whom he had chosen:
27 I n'a alaamey cabe Misirancey game ra, A dambara goyey mo Ham laabo ra.
27They set his signs among them, and miracles in the land of Ham.
28 A na kubay samba; a naŋ nango ma ciya kubay, A borey mana ture a sanno gaa bo.
28He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
29 A n'i harey ciya kuri, a n'i hari hamey halaci.
29He turned their waters into blood, and caused their fish to die.
30 I laabo te balancaw marga zugulayaŋ, Hala baa a bonkooney fu lokotey ra.
30Their land swarmed with frogs, -- in the chambers of their kings.
31 A salaŋ, kala hamni bi marga zugulayaŋ go, i kaa, Ganiyaŋ mo go kal i laabo hirrey kulu gaa.
31He spoke, and there came dog-flies, [and] gnats in all their borders.
32 A n'i kar da gari, sanda hari himandi, Da danji kaŋ ga di mo i laabo ra.
32He gave them hail for rain, [and] flaming fire in their land;
33 A n'i reyzin* nyaŋey da jeejay* nyaŋey kar ka zeeri, A n'i hirrey boŋ tuurey ceeri-ceeri.
33And he smote their vines and their fig-trees, and broke the trees of their borders.
34 A salaŋ, kal a go, do kaa, Da sar-ganda mo kaŋ sinda me,
34He spoke, and the locust came, and the cankerworm, even without number;
35 I n'i laabo ra kobtey kulu ŋwa, I n'i laabo nafa kulu mo ŋwa.
35And they devoured every herb in their land, and ate up the fruit of their ground.
36 Rabbi n'i laabo ra hay-jiney kulu kar mo, Kaŋ ga ti i kulu gaabi sintina.
36And he smote every firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their vigour.
37 Gaa no a na Israyla kaa taray, I gonda wura nda nzarfu ngey banda. Londibuuno si no i kunda ra mo, baa afolloŋ.
37And he brought them forth with silver and gold; and there was not one feeble among their tribes.
38 Misira farhã waato kaŋ i tun, Zama i humburkumay n'i di.
38Egypt rejoiced at their departure; for the fear of them had fallen upon them.
39 Rabbi na beene hirriyaŋ daaru ka te daabiri, Danji mo, zama a ma hananyaŋ no cin haray.
39He spread a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light in the night.
40 I binde, kaŋ i ŋwaaray, a kande i se darfanda, A na i kungandi nda beene ŋwaari mo.
40They asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41 A na tondi daari kortu, kala hari bagu ka fatta, A soobay ka te hari zuru mo laabu koga ra sanda isa ra cine.
41He opened the rock, and waters gushed forth; they ran in the dry places [like] a river.
42 Zama a fongu nga sanni hanna gaa wo kaŋ a ci nga tamo Ibrahim se.
42For he remembered his holy word, [and] Abraham his servant;
43 A na nga borey kaa taray da farhã, A wane suubanantey mo da farhã kuuwayaŋ.
43And he brought forth his people with gladness, his chosen with rejoicing;
44 A na dumi cindey laabey no i se, Hal i na dumey din taabi albarka ta.
44And he gave them the lands of the nations, and they took possession of the labour of the peoples:
45 Zama i m'a hin sanney haggoy, i m'a asariyey gaay mo. Alleluya!
45That they might keep his statutes, and observe his laws. Hallelujah!
