107

1Give ye thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
1 Wa saabu Rabbi se, zama nga wo booriyankoy no, Zama a baakasinay suujo go no hal abada.
2Let the redeemed of Jehovah say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the oppressor,
2 Rabbi fansantey* ma ci yaadin, Ngey kaŋ a fansa k'i kaa yanjekaari kambe ra.
3And gathered out of the countries, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the sea.
3 A n'i margu, i ma fun laabey kulu ra -- wayna funay da wayna kaŋay, azawa nda dandi kambe.
4They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way, they found no city of habitation;
4 I te boŋdaray saajo laawaley ra, Naŋ kaŋ boro kulu si no, I mana du kwaara kaŋ ga goro.
5Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them:
5 I fundey yangala i ra da haray da jaw.
6Then they cried unto Jehovah in their trouble, [and] he delivered them out of their distresses,
6 Waato din gaa no i na jinde sambu Rabbi gaa ngey taabey ra, A na i faaba mo k'i kaa i masiibey ra.
7And he led them forth by a right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
7 A na i jine candi mo fondo kayante ra, Zama i ma koy gallu kaŋ ga goro do.
8Let them give thanks unto Jehovah for his loving-kindness, and for his wondrous works to the children of men;
9For he hath satisfied the longing soul and filled the hungry soul with good.
9 Zama a ga fundi kaŋ gonda jaw yeesandi, A ga haraykom mo kungandi nda gomni.
10Such as inhabit darkness and the shadow of death, bound in affliction and iron,
10 Boro fooyaŋ go no kaŋ goro kubay da bu biya ra, I go hawante da sisiri da kayna,
11Because they had rebelled against the words of ùGod, and had despised the counsel of the Most High; ...
11 Zama i murte Irikoy sanney gaa, I donda Beeray-Beeri-Koyo saawarey mo.
12And he bowed down their heart with labour; they stumbled, and there was none to help:
12 Woodin se no a na i biney kaynandi nda taabi goy. I kati ka kaŋ, gaako mo si no.
13Then they cried unto Jehovah in their trouble, [and] he saved them out of their distresses;
13 Waato din gaa no i na jinde sambu Rabbi gaa ngey taabey ra, A na i faaba mo k'i kaa i masiibey ra.
14He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bands in sunder.
14 A n'i kaa kubay da bu biya ra, A n'i bakey* ceeri-ceeri.
15Let them give thanks unto Jehovah for his loving-kindness, and for his wondrous works to the children of men;
16For he hath broken the gates of bronze, and cut asunder the bars of iron.
17Fools, because of their way of transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted;
17 Saamey hartayaŋey d'i taaley mo sabbay se no i g'i kankam.
18Their soul abhorreth all manner of food, and they draw near unto the gates of death:
18 I biney na ŋwaari dumi kulu fanta, I maan buuyaŋ meyey gaa.
19Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble, [and] he saveth them out of their distresses;
19 Waato din gaa no i na jinde sambu Rabbi gaa ngey taabey ra, A n'i faaba mo k'i kaa i masiibey ra.
20He sendeth his word, and healeth them, and delivereth them from their destructions.
20 A na nga sanno samba k'i yayandi, A n'i soolam ka kaa i halaciyaŋey ra.
21Let them give thanks unto Jehovah for his loving-kindness, and for his wondrous works to the children of men,
22And let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works in joyful song.
22 Wa saabuyaŋ sargayyaŋ mo no, W'a goyey fe da farhã baytuyaŋ.
23They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters,
23 Borey kaŋ yaŋ ga zulli ka koy teeko do hiyey ra, Kaŋ yaŋ ga muraadey te hari beerey ra,
24These see the works of Jehovah, and his wonders in the deep.
24 Ngey no ga di Rabbi goy, D'a dambara goyey teeku guusuyaŋey ra.
25For he speaketh, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof:
25 Zama a ga lordi ka ne haw kaŋ ga hamay ma tun, Wo kaŋ g'a hari bonday beerey tunandi.
26They mount up to the heavens, they go down to the depths; their soul is melted because of trouble;
26 I ga ziji hala beene, I ga ye ka zumbu guusuyaŋey ra, Borey biney ga jijiri masiiba sabbay se.
27They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and they are at their wits' end:
27 I goono ga teeni, i goono ga langam sanda baji hanko, I ga fay da ngey laakaley parkatak!
28Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses;
28 Waato din gaa no i na jinde sambu Rabbi gaa ngey taabey ra, A n'i faaba mo k'i kaa i masiibey ra.
29He maketh the storm a calm, and the waves thereof are still:
29 A na beene hirriyaŋ dangandi, Hala hari bondayey ma kani.
30And they rejoice because they are quiet; and he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
30 Saaya din i maa kaani zama nango kani. Yaadin no a kand'ey d'a do-meyo kaŋ i ga ba din ra.
31Let them give thanks unto Jehovah for his loving-kindness, and for his wondrous works to the children of men;
32Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the session of the elders.
32 W'a beerandi mo jama marga ra, W'a sifa arkusey faada ra.
33He maketh rivers into a wilderness, and water-springs into dry ground;
33 A ga isey bare ka ciya taasi beeri, Hari-moy mo ma koogu ka ciya jaw laabu.
34A fruitful land into a plain of salt, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
34 Laabu albarkanta ga bare ka ciya ciiri batama, A ra gorokoy laala sabbay se.
35He maketh the wilderness into a pool of water, and the dry land into water-springs;
35 A ga taasey boŋ ciya bangu, Laabu kogo mo ma ciya hari-moyaŋ.
36And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, and they establish a city of habitation;
36 Noodin binde no a ga naŋ harayzey ma goro, Zama i ma gallu cina k'a te nangoray.
37And sow fields, and plant vineyards, which yield fruits of increase;
37 I ma fariyaŋ duma, i ma reyzin* kaliyaŋ tilam, I ma du heemaro din nafa.
38And he blesseth them, so that they are multiplied greatly; and he suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
38 A ga albarka daŋ i se mo hal i ma tonton gumo, A si naŋ mo i almaney ma zabu.
39And they are diminished and brought low, through oppression, adversity, and sorrow:
39 Koyne i ga kayna ka sumbal kankami nda taabi nda bine saray sabbay se,
40He poureth contempt upon nobles, and causeth them to wander in a pathless waste;
40 A ga donda-caray gusam bonkooney boŋ.
41But he secureth the needy one on high from affliction, and maketh [him] families like flocks.
41 Amma a ga moori ra goroko sambu nga kayna din ra k'a dake beene, k'a ciya almayaali boobo hal a ma ciya kuru cine.
42The upright shall see it, and rejoice; and all unrighteousness shall stop its mouth.
42 Adilantey ga di woodin, i ga farhã mo. Laala kulu mo ga nga me daabu.
43Whoso is wise, let him observe these things, and let them understand the loving-kindnesses of Jehovah.
43 May no gonda laakal?
