120

1{A Song of degrees.} In my trouble I called unto Jehovah, and he answered me.
1 Zijiyaŋ dooni no. Ay kankamo ra ay hẽ Rabbi gaa, a tu ay se mo.
2Jehovah, deliver my soul from the lying lip, from the deceitful tongue.
2 Ya Rabbi, m'ay fundo faaba meyey kaŋ ga tangari te yaŋ gaa, Da deene kaŋ ga halli mo gaa.
3What shall be given unto thee, what shall be added unto thee, thou deceitful tongue?
3 Ya nin, deene kaŋ ga halli, ifo no i ga ni no, Ifo mo no i ga tonton ni se?
4Sharp arrows of a mighty one, with burning coals of broom-wood.
4 To, wongaari hangawey kaŋ gonda deene, Ngey da zam tuuri danj'izeyaŋ no.
5Woe is me, that I sojourn in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar!
5 Kaari ay, za kaŋ ay goono ga yawtaray te Mesek ra, Za kaŋ ay goono ga goro Kedar bukka ra.
6My soul hath long dwelt with them that hate peace.
6 Ay fundo gay gumo a goono ga goro borey kaŋ yaŋ konna laakal kanay banda.
7I [am for] peace; but when I speak, *they* [are] for war.
7 Ay wo, laakal kanay no ay ga ba, Amma d'ay salaŋ, wongu no i ga ba.
