1{To the chief Musician. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm.} Hear this, all ye peoples; give ear, all inhabitants of the world:

2Both men of low and men of high degree, rich and poor alike.
2 Ya araŋ ndunnya dumey kulu, wa maa woone wo. Ya araŋ ndunnya gorokoy kulu, --
3My mouth shall speak wisdom, and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding:
3 Boro kayney da boro beerey, Da arzakantey da talkey, wa hanga jeeri care banda:
4I will incline mine ear to a parable, I will open my riddle upon the harp.
4 Ay meyo ga laakal _sanniyaŋ|_ ci, Ay bina fintalyaŋ mo ga ciya fahamay wane.
5Wherefore should I fear in the days of adversity, [when] the iniquity of my supplanters encompasseth me? --
5 Ay g'ay hangey jeeri yaasay se, Ay g'ay misa mo feeri da moolo beeri karyaŋ.
6They depend upon their wealth, and boast themselves in the abundance of their riches. ...
6 Ifo se no humburkumay g'ay di masiiba jirbey ra, Saaya kaŋ ay ibarey laala go g'ay windi?
7None can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him,
7 Sanda borey kaŋ yaŋ ga de ngey arzakey gaa, Ngey kaŋ yaŋ ga fooma ngey duure baayaŋ sabbay se.
8(For the redemption of their soul is costly, and must be given up for ever,)
8 I ra sinda boro kaŋ ga hin ka nga nya-ize fansa nda mate kulu kaŋ cine no, Wala a ma fansayaŋ hari no Irikoy se a se.
9That he should still live perpetually, [and] not see corruption.
9 Zama i fundey fansayaŋ hari ga caada, Kala a m'a naŋ hinne hal abada,
10For he seeth that wise men die; all alike, the fool and the brutish perish, and they leave their wealth to others.
10 Kaŋ ga naŋ a ma funa duumi, hal a ma si fumbu.
11Their inward thought is, that their houses are for ever, their dwelling-places from generation to generation: they call the lands after their own names.
11 Zama a go ga di laakalkooney go ga bu, Saamo nda alman alhaalikoy go ga halaci care banda, I ma ngey arzakey naŋ boro fooyaŋ se.
12Nevertheless, man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.
12 I tammahãyaŋ gaa, Ngey windey wo ga tondo no hal abada, Ngey nangorayey mo hala zamaney kulu me. I ga ngey bumbey maayey daŋ ngey laabey gaa.
13This their way is their folly, yet they that come after them delight in their sayings. Selah.
13 Amma boro nda nga darza kulu si duumi bo, A ga hima day danga almaney kaŋ ga halaci.
14Like sheep are they laid in Sheol: Death feedeth on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their comeliness shall be for Sheol to consume, that there be no habitation for them.
14 Saamey fonda nooya, Ngey d'i banda borey kaŋ yaŋ ga maa i sanney kaani. (Wa dangay)
15But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol: for he will receive me. Selah.
15 I na i waadu Alaahara se sanda feeji kuru cine. Buuyaŋ no g'i boy. Adilantey g'i may susubay. I gaakuro mo ga ciya Alaahara se ŋwaari. I ga daray ngey windey se nangu mooro.
16Be not afraid when a man becometh rich, when the glory of his house is increased:
16 Amma Irikoy g'ay fundo fansa ka kaa Alaahara hino ra, Zama a g'ay sambu. (Wa dangay)
17For when he dieth, he shall carry nothing away; his glory shall not descend after him.
17 Ma si humburu waati kaŋ i na boro fo arzakandi, Alwaati kaŋ a windo darza tonton.
18Though he blessed his soul in his lifetime, -- and men will praise thee when thou doest well to thyself, --
18 Zama d'a bu, a si konda hay kulu, A darza mo s'a gana ka koy ganda.
19It shall go to the generation of his fathers: they shall never see light.
19 Baa kaŋ ni ga ni boŋ saabu duumi ni baafuna ra, Borey ga ni sifa mo waati kaŋ ni goono ga boriyandi ni boŋ se,
20Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
20 Kulu nda yaadin ni ga koy ni kaayey waddey do, kaŋ yaŋ si ye ka di kaari koyne hal abada.
21 Boro kaŋ gonda beeray, a sinda mo fahamay, A ga hima sanda almaney kaŋ ga halaci.
