Psalms

5

1{To the chief Musician. Upon Nehiloth. A Psalm of David.} Give ear to my words, O Jehovah; consider my meditation.
1 Doonkoy jine bora se. I m'a doon da seese karyaŋ. Dawda wane no.
2Hearken unto the voice of my crying, my king and my God; for to thee will I pray.
3Jehovah, in the morning shalt thou hear my voice; in the morning will I address myself to thee, and will look up.
4For thou art not a ùGod that hath pleasure in wickedness; evil shall not sojourn with thee.
Susubay ay g'ay miila ye ni do haray d'ay adduwa, Ay ga batu mo.
5Insolent fools shall not stand before thine eyes; thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
5 Zama nin wo manti Irikoy kaŋ ga maa laala kaani no, Laala si goro ni banda.
6Thou wilt destroy them that speak lies: Jehovah abhorreth a man of blood and deceit.
7But as for me, in the greatness of thy loving-kindness will I enter thy house; I will bow down toward the temple of thy holiness in thy fear.
7 Ni ga tangari ciikoy halaci. Boro kaŋ ga kuri mun, a ga gulinci mo, Rabbi g'a fanta.
8Lead me, Jehovah, in thy righteousness, because of my foes; make thy way plain before me.
8 Amma day ay wo, ni baakasinay suuji yulwanta ra no ay ga furo ni windo ra. Ni humburkuma ra mo no ay ga sududu, Ay moyduma ga guna ni fu hananta do haray.
9For there is no certainty in their mouth; their inward part is perversion, their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.
10Bring guilt upon them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels: drive them out in the multitude of their transgressions, for they have rebelled against thee.
10 Zama cimi si i meyey ra, halaciyaŋ no i biney ra. I karrey ya saaray feeranteyaŋ no, I deenayzey no i ga me-kaanay te d'a.
11And all that trust in thee shall rejoice: for ever shall they shout joyously, and thou wilt protect them; and they that love thy name shall exult in thee.
11 Ya Irikoy, m'i taaley dake i boŋ. I bumbey saawarey m'i zeeri. M'i furu i taali boobey ra, zama i murte ni gaa.
12For thou, Jehovah, wilt bless the righteous [man]; with favour wilt thou surround him as [with] a shield.
