1{To the chief Musician. 'Destroy not.' Of David. Michtam; when Saul sent, and they watched the house to kill him.} Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God; secure me on high from them that rise up against me.
1 Doonkoy jine bora se. I m'a doon da subo kaŋ ga ne: «Ma si halaci». Dawda baytu no kaŋ a te waato kaŋ Sawulu donton i m'a fuwo windi zama i m'a wi se.
2Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from men of blood.
3For behold, they lie in wait for my soul; strong ones are gathered against me: not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Jehovah.
3 M'ay kaa laala goy-teekoy kambe ra, M'ay faaba boro-wiyey kambe ra.
4They run and prepare themselves without [my] fault: awake to meet me, and behold.
4 Zama a go, i goono ga gumandi te ay fundo se.
5Yea, do thou, Jehovah, the God of hosts, the God of Israel, arise to visit all the nations: be not gracious to any plotters of iniquity. Selah.
6They return in the evening; they howl like a dog, and go round about the city:
6 Ya Rabbi Irikoy Kundeykoyo, Israyla Irikoyo, Ni ya day, ma tun ka kay dumi cindey kulu banayaŋ se. Ma si gomni te halliko fo kulu kaŋ ga laala te se. (Wa dangay)
7Behold, they belch out with their mouth; swords are in their lips: for who [say they] doth hear?
7 I ga ye ka kaa wiciri kambu ka ballu sanda hansi cine, I ga casu ka gallo windi.
8But thou, Jehovah, wilt laugh at them; thou wilt have all the nations in derision.
8 A go, i meyey go ga kufu kaa, Takubayaŋ go i me kuurey ra, Zama i goono ga ne: «May no ga maa?»
9Their strength! ... I will take heed to thee; for God is my high fortress.
9 Amma nin, ya Rabbi, ni go g'i haaru, Ni go ga dumi cindey kulu guna da donda-caray.
10God, whose loving-kindness will come to meet me, -- God shall let me see [my desire] upon mine enemies.
10 Ya nin ay gaabo, ni se no ay ga hangan, Zama Irikoy no ga ti ay cinari kuuko.
11Slay them not, lest my people forget; by thy power make them wander, and bring them down, O Lord, our shield.
11 Ay Irikoyo g'ay kubay nga baakasinay suujo ra.
12[Because of] the sin of their mouth, the word of their lips, let them even be taken in their pride; and because of cursing and lying which they speak.
12 Ma s'i wi, zama ay borey ma si dinya. Ya ay Koyo, iri korayo, m'i say-say da ni hino k'i kaynandi.
13Make an end in wrath, make an end, that they may be no more; that they may know that God ruleth in Jacob, unto the ends of the earth. Selah.
13 I meyey zunubo, d'i me-kuurey sanney sabbay se, Naŋ i ma furu kambe ngey boŋbeera ra, Laaliyaŋ da tangari sanney kaŋ i ga te sabbay se.
14And in the evening they shall return, they shall howl like a dog, and go round about the city.
14 M'i halaci futay ra, ma n'i halaci i ma ban. Naŋ hala ndunnya me mo i ma bay kaŋ Irikoy no ga may Yakuba ra. (Wa dangay)
15They shall wander about for meat, and stay all night if they be not satisfied.
15 I ga ye ka kaa wiciri kambu, I ga ballu sanda hansi cine, i ga casu ka gallo windi.
16But as for me, I will sing of thy strength; yea, I will sing aloud of thy loving-kindness in the morning; for thou hast been to me a high fortress, and a refuge in the day of my trouble.
16 I ga soobay ka bar-bare ka ŋwaari ceeci. Da i mana kungu, i ga kani haway.
17Unto thee, my strength, will I sing psalms; for God is my high fortress, the God of my mercy.
