²As smoke is driven, thou wilt drive them away; as wax melteth before the fire, the wicked shall perish at the presence of God.

³But the righteous shall rejoice: they shall exult before God and be glad with joy.

³ Mate kaŋ cine i ga dullu gaaray, I m'i gaaray yaadin cine. Sanda mate kaŋ cine yu fanta ga manne danji gande, Boro laaley ma halaci yaadin cine Irikoy jine.

⁴Sing unto God, sing forth his name; cast up a way for him that rideth in the deserts: his name is Jah; and rejoice before him.

⁴ Amma adilantey biney ma kaan. I ma ngey farhãyaŋo beerandi Irikoy jine. Oho, i ma te farhã da bine kaani.

⁵A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

⁵ Wa baytu te Irikoy se, wa sifaw baytuyaŋ te a maa gaa! Wa fonda haabu kaarukwa kaŋ ga taasi beero gana se. A maa ga ti Rabbi, wa farhã beerandi a jine!

⁶God maketh the solitary into families; those that were bound he bringeth out into prosperity: but the rebellious dwell in a parched [land].

⁷O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness -- (Selah) --

⁸The earth trembled, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God, yon Sinai, at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

⁸ Ya Irikoy, waato kaŋ ni fatta ka koy ni borey jine, Waato kaŋ ni na saajo gana, (Wa dangay)

⁹Thou, O God, didst pour a plentiful rain upon thine inheritance, and when it was weary thou strengthenedst it.

⁹ Kala laabo zinji, beeney mo tolli-tolli Irikoy jine. Oho, hala nda baa Sinayi mo, a zinji Irikoy jine, Kaŋ ga ti Israyla Irikoyo.

¹⁰Thy flock hath dwelt therein: thou hast prepared in thy goodness, for the afflicted, O God!

¹⁴When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it became snow-white as Zalmon.

¹⁵[As] mount Bashan is the mount of God, a many-peaked mountain, [as] mount Bashan.

¹⁵ Waato kaŋ Hina-Kulu-Koyo na bonkooney say noodin, Neezu* goono ga kaŋ Zalmon tondo boŋ.

¹⁶Why do ye look with envy, ye many-peaked mountains, upon the mount that God hath desired for his abode? yea, Jehovah will dwell [there] for ever.

¹⁶ Basan tondo wo, Irikoy tondi kuuku no, Basan tondo, tondi kuuku yollo-boobo-koy no.

¹⁷The chariots of God are twenty thousand, thousands upon thousands; the Lord is among them: it is a Sinai in holiness.

¹⁸Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts in Man, and even [for] the rebellious, for the dwelling [there] of Jah Elohim.

¹⁸ Irikoy torkey ya zambar-zambarey no. Oho, dubu-dubey boŋ no. Koy Beero go i game ra nangu hananta ra sanda mate kaŋ cine a go Sinayi.

¹⁹Blessed be the Lord: day by day doth he load us [with good], the ùGod who is our salvation. Selah.

¹⁹ Ni ziji beene, ni na tamtaray izey ku ka kond'ey. Ni du nooyaŋey borey se, oho, hala nda turantey se, Zama Rabbi Irikoy ma goro i banda.

²⁰Our ùGod is the ùGod of salvation; and with Jehovah, the Lord, are the goings forth [even] from death.

²¹Verily God will smite the head of his enemies, the hairy scalp of him that goeth on still in his trespasses.

²²The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring [them] again from the depth of the sea;

²³That thou mayest dip thy foot in blood: the tongue of thy dogs has its portion from enemies.

²³ Rabbi ne: «Ay ga ye ka kand'ey i ma fun Basan, Ay ga ye ka kand'ey i ma fun teeku guusuyaŋey do.

²⁴They have seen thy goings, O God, the goings of my ùGod, my King, in the sanctuary.

²⁴ Zama ni ma ni ca sufu kuri ra, Ni hansey deenayzey mo ma du baa ni ibarey ra.»

²⁵The singers went before, the players on stringed instruments after, in the midst of maidens playing on tabrets.

²⁵ Ya Irikoy, i di ni fondey sata-sata. Ay Irikoyo, ay Bonkoono satey nooya. I ga furo nangu hananta ra.

²⁶In the congregations bless ye God, the Lord, -- [ye] from the fountain of Israel.

²⁶ Baytu teekoy furo jina, moolo karey mo n'i banda gana, Can-caŋ karkoy mo go wandiyey game ra.

²⁷There is little Benjamin, their ruler; the princes of Judah, their company; the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.

²⁷ Ya araŋ kaŋ fun Israyla banda gaa, Wa Irikoy sifa margey ra, nga kaŋ ga ti Koy Beero.

²⁸Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.

²⁸ I kayno Benyamin neeya kaŋ go ga i may, Da Yahuda mayraykoyey da ngey jama, Da Zabluna mayraykoyey, da Naftali mayraykoyey mo.

²⁹Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.

²⁹ Ni Irikoyo na ni gaabo lordi ni se. Ya Irikoy, ma ni gaabo bangandi, nin kaŋ goy iri se.

³⁰Rebuke the beast of the reeds, the assembly of the strong, with the calves of the peoples: [every one] submitteth himself with pieces of silver. Scatter the peoples that delight in war.

³⁰ Ni windo kaŋ go Urusalima* sabbay se no bonkooney ga kande ni se fooyaŋ.

³¹Great ones shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall quickly stretch out her hands unto God.

³¹ Ma kaseeti farru ganji hamey din gaa, Da yeeji beerey kuro, Da ndunnya dumey handayzey ngey banda, Kaŋ yaŋ ga ngey boŋ kaynandi ka kande nzarfu gudeyaŋ. A na dumey kaŋ yaŋ goono ga farhã da wongu say-say.

³²Ye kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God; sing psalms of the Lord, (Selah,)

³² Diyayaŋ ga kaa ka fun Misira, Etiyopi ga cahã ka nga kambey salle Irikoy do haray.

³³Of him that rideth upon the heavens, the heavens which are of old: lo, he uttereth his voice, a mighty voice.

³³ Ya araŋ ndunnya mayrayey, wa baytu te Irikoy se, Wa sifaw baytu te Koy Beero se. (Wa dangay)

³⁴Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.

³⁴ Beene beeney kaŋ go no za doŋ-doŋ, kaarukwa kaŋ ga kaaru i boŋ, A go, a na nga jinda sambu ka salaŋ, Jinde gaabikooni mo no.

³⁵Terrible art thou, O God, out of thy sanctuaries, -- the ùGod of Israel! He it is that giveth strength and might unto the people. Blessed be God!

³⁵ Wa Irikoy hino ci. A koytaray darza go no Israyla boŋ, A hino go no beene batama ra.

³⁶ Ya Irikoy, ni ya humburkumay hari no ni nangu hananta ra. Israyla Irikoyo, Nga no ga hin nda gaabi no nga borey se. I ma Irikoy sifa!
