7

1{Shiggaion of David, which he sang to Jehovah, concerning the words of Cush the Benjaminite.} Jehovah my God, in thee have I trusted: save me from all my pursuers, and deliver me;
2Lest he tear my soul like a lion, crushing it while there is no deliverer.
2 Ya Rabbi ay Irikoyo, ni do no ay ga tuguyaŋ do ceeci.
3Jehovah my God, if I have done this, if there be iniquity in my hands;
3 Zama i ma s'ay kortu-kortu sanda muusu beeri cine kaŋ ga tooru-tooru, faabako mo si.
4If I have rewarded evil to him that was at peace with me; (indeed I have freed him that without cause oppressed me;)
4 Ya Rabbi, ay Irikoyo, hala day ay na woone yaŋ te no: Da day laala go ay kambe ra,
5Let the enemy pursue after my soul, and take [it], and let him tread down my life to the earth, and lay my glory in the dust. Selah.
6Arise, Jehovah, in thine anger; lift thyself up against the raging of mine oppressors, and awake for me: thou hast commanded judgment.
6 Naŋ ay ibara m'ay fundo kankam da gaarayyaŋ kal a m'a di. Naŋ a m'ay fundo taamu ganda, A m'ay darza mutukuru bulungu ra. (Wa dangay)
7And the assembly of the peoples shall encompass thee; and for their sakes return thou on high.
8Jehovah shall minister judgment to the peoples. Judge me, Jehovah, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity which is in me.
8 Dumey marga ma ni windi, Ni ma ye beene ka kaaru i boŋ.
9Oh let the wrong of the wicked come to an end, and establish thou the righteous [man]; even thou that triest the hearts and reins, the righteous God.
10My shield is with God, who saveth the upright in heart.
10 Naŋ laalakoyey laala ma ban, Amma ni ma adilantey tabbatandi. Zama Irikoy ya adilitaraykoy no, A ga bine da nga gundu neesi.
11God is a righteous judge, and a ùGod who is indignant all the day.
11 Ay korayo go Irikoy do, Nga kaŋ ga bine ra adilantey faaba.
12If one turn not, he will sharpen his sword; he hath bent his bow and made it ready,
13And he hath prepared for him instruments of death; his arrows hath he made burning.
14Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, yea, he hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood:
14 A na buuyaŋ wongu jinayyaŋ soola a se. A na nga hangawey ciya danjikoyyaŋ.
15He digged a pit, and hollowed it out, and is fallen into the hole that he made.
15 Guna, boro ga hay-zaŋay da laala. Oho, a ga zamba gunde sambu ka tangari hay.
16His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violence shall come down upon his own pate.
16 A na guusu soola, a n'a fansi. A kaŋ guusu hirrimo kaŋ a te din ra.
17I will praise Jehovah according to his righteousness, and will sing forth the name of Jehovah the Most High.
17 A zamba ga ye a bumbo boŋ. A toonya mo ga zumbu a boŋ bindo ra.
18 Ay ga saabu Rabbi se a adilitara boŋ. Ay ga sifayaŋ baytu te Rabbi kaŋ bisa ikulu maa gaa.
