8

1{To the chief Musician. Upon the Gittith. A Psalm of David.} Jehovah our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy majesty above the heavens.
1 Doonkoy jine bora se. I m'a doon da moolo hamni ahakkukoy karyaŋ. Dawda wane no.
2Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou established praise because of thine adversaries, to still the enemy and the avenger.
2 Ya Rabbi Irikoy, Man gaa ni maa darza misa ndunnya kulu ra? Nin no ka ni beera daŋ beeney boŋ.
3When I see thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and stars, which thou hast established;
3 Ni na gaabi sinji attaciriyey da naanandey me ra ni yanjekaarey sabbay se, Zama ni ma ibara da fansa banakwa ganji sanni.
4What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
4 Waati kaŋ ay goono ga laakal da beeney kaŋ ni te, Kaŋ ga ti ni kambe goyey, Hando da handariyayzey mo kaŋ yaŋ ni daŋ,
5Thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and splendour.
5 Adam-ize ya ifo no binde kaŋ ni ga fongu a gaa, Wala ifo no boro izo kaŋ ni g'a kunfa?
6Thou hast made him to rule over the works of thy hands; thou hast put everything under his feet:
6 Ni n'a gazandi malaykey gaa kayna, Ni n'a didiji nda darza nda beeray mo.
7Sheep and oxen, all of them, and also the beasts of the field;
7 Ni n'a daŋ a ma mayray te ni kambe goyey boŋ. Ni na hay kulu daŋ a cey cire:
8The fowl of the heavens, and the fishes of the sea, [whatever] passeth through the paths of the seas.
8 Feejey da hawey kulu, Oho, hala nda ganji hamey,
9Jehovah our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
9 Da beene curayzey da teeku hamey, Da hay kulu kaŋ ga gana teeku fondey ra.
10 Ya Rabbi Irikoy, Man gaa ni maa darza misa ndunnya kulu ra?
