Psalms

77

1{To the chief Musician. On Jeduthun. Of Asaph. A Psalm.} My voice is unto God, and I will cry; my voice is unto God, and he will give ear unto me.
1 Doonkoy jine bora se. I m'a doon da Yedutun subo. Asaf baytu no.
2In the day of my trouble, I sought the Lord: my hand was stretched out in the night, and slacked not; my soul refused to be comforted.
2 Ay jinde no ay go ga hẽ d'a Irikoy gaa, Oho, ay jinde no ay go ga tunandi Irikoy gaa, Nga mo ga hanga jeeri ay se.
3I remembered God, and I moaned; I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.
3 Ay taabo zaaro ra ay na Koy Beero ceeci, Cin mo ay kambe go ga salle, a mana dusu. Ay fundo wangu ka yaamaryaŋ ta.
4Thou holdest open mine eyelids; I am full of disquiet and cannot speak.
4 D'ay fongu Irikoy gaa, ay laakalo no ga tun. D'ay ga miila mo, ay fundo no ga kasam. (Wa dangay)
5I consider the days of old, the years of ancient times.
5 Ni go g'ay mo-kuurey di i ma goro feerante. Ay boŋo mo haw kala ay si du ka salaŋ.
6I remember my song in the night; I muse in mine own heart, and my spirit maketh diligent search.
6 Ay fongu waato jirbey, za doŋ-doŋ jiirey nooya.
7Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?
7 Cin ra ay ga fongu nda ay doono, Ay ga saaware d'ay bina, Ay biya mo go ga fintalyaŋ te.
8Hath his loving-kindness ceased for ever? hath [his] word come to an end from generation to generation?
8 Ay Koyo ga boro furu no hal abada? A si ye ka yadda no koyne?
9Hath ùGod forgotten to be gracious? or hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.
9 A baakasinay suujo ban hal abada no? A alkawlo mo tun hal abada abadin no?
10Then said I, This is my weakness: -- the years of the right hand of the Most High
10 Wala Irikoy dinya gomni teeyaŋ no? A futa ra a na bakaraw daabu no, wala? (Wa dangay)
11Will I remember, -- the works of Jah; for I will remember thy wonders of old,
12And I will meditate upon all thy work, and muse upon thy doings.
13O God, thy way is in the sanctuary: who is so great a ùgod as God?
14Thou art the ùGod that doest wonders; thou hast declared thy strength among the peoples.
15Thou hast with [thine] arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
15 Nin no ga ti Irikoy kaŋ ga dambara goyyaŋ te, Ni na ni gaabo cabe dumey game ra.
16The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they trembled, yea, the depths were troubled:
16 Ni kambe no ni na ni borey fansa* nd'a, Kaŋ ga ti Yakuba nda Yusufu izey. (Wa dangay)
17The thick clouds poured out water; the skies sent out a sound, yea, thine arrows went abroad:
17 Ya Irikoy, harey di nin, harey di nin, I bibiri, guusuyaŋey jijiri.
18The voice of thy thunder was in the whirlwind, lightnings lit up the world; the earth was troubled and it quaked.
Ni hangawey mo ga koy, i ga ye.
19Thy way is in the sea, and thy paths are in the great waters; and thy footsteps are not known.
20Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
20 Ni fonda go teeku ra, Ni fondayzey mo go hari bambatey ra, Ni ce gurbey mo, borey s'i bay.
