Psalms

92

1{A Psalm, a Song, for the Sabbath day.} It is good to give thanks unto Jehovah, and to sing psalms unto thy name, O Most High;
1 Asibti* hane baytu.
2To declare thy loving-kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness in the nights,
2 Rabbi se saabuyaŋ ga boori. Ya Beeray-Beeri-Koyo, i ma sifaw baytu te ni maa gaa, Nga mo ga boori.
3Upon an instrument of ten strings and upon the lute; upon the Higgaion with the harp.
3 I ma ni baakasinay suujo ci susubay, Ni naanayo mo cin kulu,
4For thou, Jehovah, hast made me glad through thy work; I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
4 Da moolo beeri hamni way koy, da moolo kayna mo, Da moolo beeri kaŋ ga tu jinde.
5Jehovah, how great are thy works! Thy thoughts are very deep:
5 Zama ni goyo do, ya Rabbi, ni n'ay bina kaanandi. Ay ga farhã baytu te ni kambe goyey sabbay se.
6A brutish man knoweth not, neither doth a fool understand it.
6 Ya Rabbi, man ni te-goyey beera misa! Ni fonguyaŋey ga guusu gumo.
7When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity flourish, it is that they may be destroyed for ever.
7 Boro alman alhaalikoy si bay, Saamo mo si faham da woone:
8And thou, Jehovah, art on high for evermore.
8 Waati kaŋ cine laalakoyey ga zay ka fun sanda subu cine, Saaya kaŋ cine laala goy teekoy kulu ga zaada, I ma halaci hal abada sabbay se no.
9For lo, thine enemies, O Jehovah, for lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
9 Amma nin, ya Rabbi, ni ya Beeraykoy no hal abada.
10But my horn shalt thou exalt like a buffalo's: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
10 Zama a go, ni ibarey, ya Rabbi, Zama a go, ni ibarey ga halaci, Laala goy teekoy kulu ga say-say.
11And mine eye shall see [its desire] on mine enemies; mine ears shall hear [it] of the evil-doers that rise up against me.
11 Amma ni n'ay hillo tunandi sanda haw-bi wane cine, I n'ay tuusu nda ji taji.
12The righteous shall shoot forth like a palm-tree; he shall grow like a cedar on Lebanon.
12 Ay moy n'ay batandikoy guna nda farhã, Ay hangey maa laala goy teekoy kaŋ yaŋ ga tun ay se baaru.
13Those that are planted in the house of Jehovah shall flourish in the courts of our God:
13 Adilante ga zaada sanda sabb'ize cine, A ga beeri sanda Liban ra sedre* nya cine.
14They are still vigorous in old age, they are full of sap and green;
14 Ngey kaŋ yaŋ i tilam Rabbi windo ra ga zaada iri Irikoyo windi batama ra.
15To shew that Jehovah is upright: [he is] my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
15 I ga soobay ka hay baa ngey zeena ra, I ga goro nda maani nda tayyaŋ,
16 Zama i ma cabe kaŋ Rabbi ya haŋ kaŋ ga saba teeko no. Ay tondi daaro no, a ra sinda adilitaray-jaŋay mo.
