¹Psalmo de Asaf. Dio de la dioj, la Eternulo, ekparolis, Kaj vokis la teron de la sunlevigxo gxis la sunsubiro.

¹A Psalm of Asaph. The God of gods — Jehovah — hath spoken, And He calleth to the earth From the rising of the sun unto its going in.

²El Cion, la perfektajxo de beleco, Dio ekbrilis.

²From Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shone.

³Nia Dio venas kaj ne silentas; Fajro ekstermanta estas antaux Li, CXirkaux Li estas granda ventego.

³Our God cometh, and is not silent, Fire before Him doth devour, And round about him it hath been very tempestuous.

⁴Li vokas la cxielon supre kaj la teron, Por jugxi Sian popolon:

⁴He doth call unto the heavens from above, And unto the earth, to judge His people.

⁵Kolektu al Mi Miajn fidelulojn, Kiuj faris kun Mi interligon cxe oferdono.

⁵Gather ye to Me My saints, Making covenant with Me over a sacrifice.

⁶Kaj la cxielo proklamis Lian justecon, CXar Dio estas tiu jugxanto. Sela.

⁶And the heavens declare His righteousness, For God Himself [is] judge. Selah.

⁷Auxskultu, ho Mia popolo, kaj Mi parolos; Ho Izrael, Mi atestos pri vi; Mi estas Dio, via Dio.

⁷Hear, O My people, and I speak, O Israel, and I testify against thee, God, thy God [am] I.

⁸Ne pro viaj oferdonoj Mi vin riprocxos, CXar viaj bruloferoj estas cxiam antaux Mi.

⁸Not for thy sacrifices do I reprove thee, Yea, thy burnt-offerings [Are] before Me continually.

⁹Mi ne prenos el via domo bovidon, Nek el viaj kortoj kaprojn:

⁹I take not from thy house a bullock, From thy folds he goats.

¹⁰CXar al Mi apartenas cxiuj bestoj en la arbaroj, Miloj da brutoj sur la montoj;

¹⁰For Mine [is] every beast of the forest, The cattle on the hills of oxen.

¹¹Mi konas cxiujn birdojn sur la montoj, Kaj cxiuj bestoj de la kampoj estas antaux Mi.

¹¹I have known every fowl of the mountains, And the wild beast of the field [is] with Me.

¹²Se Mi farigxus malsata, Mi ne dirus al vi, CXar al Mi apartenas la mondo, kaj cxio, kio gxin plenigas.

¹²If I am hungry I tell not to thee, For Mine [is] the world and its fulness.

¹³CXu Mi mangxas viandon de bovoj, Kaj cxu Mi trinkas sangon de kaproj?

¹³Do I eat the flesh of bulls, And drink the blood of he-goats?

¹⁴Oferdonu al Dio dankon, Kaj plenumu antaux la Plejaltulo viajn promesojn.

¹⁴Sacrifice to God confession, And complete to the Most High thy vows.

¹⁵Voku Min en la tago de mizero; Mi vin liberigos, kaj vi Min gloros.

¹⁵And call Me in a day of adversity, I deliver thee, and thou honourest Me.

¹⁶Sed al la malpiulo Dio diris: Por kio vi parolas pri Miaj legxoj Kaj portas Mian interligon en via busxo,

¹⁶And to the wicked hath God said: What to thee — to recount My statutes? That thou liftest up My covenant on thy mouth?

¹⁷Dum vi malamas moralinstruon Kaj jxetas Miajn vortojn malantauxen de vi?

¹⁷Yea, thou hast hated instruction, And dost cast My words behind thee.

¹⁸Kiam vi vidas sxteliston, vi aligxas al li, Kaj kun adultuloj vi estas partoprenanto;

¹⁸If thou hast seen a thief, Then thou art pleased with him, And with adulterers [is] thy portion.

¹⁹Vian busxon vi uzas por malbono, Kaj via lango plektas falsajxon;

¹⁹Thy mouth thou hast sent forth with evil, And thy tongue joineth deceit together,

²⁰Vi sidas kaj parolas kontraux via frato, Pri la filo de via patrino vi kalumnias.

²⁰Thou sittest, against thy brother thou speakest, Against a son of thy mother givest slander.

²¹Tion vi faris, kaj Mi silentis; Kaj vi pensis, ke Mi estas tia, kiel vi. Mi punos vin, kaj Mi metos cxion antaux viajn okulojn.

²¹These thou didst, and I kept silent, Thou hast thought that I am like thee, I reprove thee, and set in array before thine eyes.

²²Komprenu cxi tion, vi, kiuj forgesas Dion; Alie Mi dissxiros, kaj neniu savos.

²²Understand this, I pray you, Ye who are forgetting God, Lest I tear, and there is no deliverer.

²³Kiu oferdonas dankon, tiu Min honoras; Kaj kiu estas singarda en la vojo, Al tiu Mi aperigos Dian helpon.

²³He who is sacrificing praise honoureth Me, As to him who maketh a way, I cause him to look on the salvation of God!
