1{[A Psalm] of David.} Bless Jehovah, O my soul; and all that is within me, [bless] his holy name!
2Benu, ho mia animo, la Eternulon, Kaj ne forgesu cxiujn Liajn bonfarojn.
2Bless Jehovah, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3Li pardonas cxiujn viajn pekojn, Li sanigas cxiujn viajn malsanojn;
3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities, who healeth all thy diseases;

4Who redeemeth thy life from the pit, who crowneth thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies;

5Who satisfieth thine old age with good [things]; thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

6Jehovah executeth righteousness and justice for all that are oppressed.
7Li sciigis Siajn vojojn al Moseo, Siajn farojn al la Izraelidoj.
7He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
8Favorkora kaj kompatema estas la Eternulo, Longetolerema kaj tre bona.
8Jehovah is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving-kindness.
9Ne eterne Li indignas, Kaj ne por cxiam Li koleras.
9He will not always chide, neither will he keep [his anger] for ever.
10Ne laux niaj pekoj Li agis kun ni, Kaj ne laux niaj krimoj Li redonis al ni.
10He hath not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11CXar kiel alte estas la cxielo super la tero, Tiel granda estas Lia boneco por tiuj, kiuj Lin timas.
11For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving-kindness toward them that fear him.
12Kiel malproksime estas la oriento de la okcidento, Tiel Li malproksimigis de ni niajn pekojn.
12As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
13Kiel patro korfavoras filojn, Tiel la Eternulo korfavoras tiujn, kiuj Lin timas.
13As a father pitieth [his] children, so Jehovah pitieth them that fear him.
14CXar Li scias nian esencon; Li memoras, ke ni estas polvo.
14For himself knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
15La tagoj de homo estas kiel herbo; Kiel floro de kampo, tiel li floras.
15As for man, his days are as grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth:
16Pasas super gxi vento, kaj gxi jam ne ekzistas; Kaj gxia loko gxin jam ne rekonas.
16For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone, and the place thereof knoweth it no more.
17Sed la boneco de la Eternulo dauxras eterne al tiuj, kiuj Lin timas, Kaj Lia bonfaremeco iras gxis la pranepoj,
17But the loving-kindness of Jehovah is from everlasting and to everlasting, upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children,

18To such as keep his covenant and to those that remember his precepts to do them.

19Jehovah hath established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom ruleth over all.

20Bless Jehovah, ye his angels, mighty in strength, that execute his word, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

21Bless Jehovah, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his that do his will.
22Benu la Eternulon cxiuj Liaj kreitajxoj, En cxiuj lokoj de Lia regado. Benu, ho mia animo, la Eternulon.
22Bless Jehovah, all his works, in all places of his dominion. Bless Jehovah, O my soul!
