¹Bless Jehovah, O my soul! Jehovah my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with majesty and splendour;

²Vi, kiu estas cxirkauxkovrita de lumo kiel de vesto, Kiu sternas la cxielon kiel tapisxon;

²Covering thyself with light as with a garment, stretching out the heavens like a tent-curtain; --

³Kiu arangxas sur la akvo Siajn cxambrojn, Kiu faras la nubojn Lia veturilo; Kiu iras sur la flugiloj de la vento;

³Who layeth the beams of his upper chambers in the waters, who maketh clouds his chariot, who walketh upon the wings of the wind;

⁴Kiu faras la ventojn Liaj senditoj, Flamantan fajron Liaj servantoj;

⁴Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flame of fire.

⁵Kiu fondis la teron sur gxiaj fundamentoj, Ke gxi neniam sxanceligxos.

⁵He laid the earth upon its foundations: it shall not be removed for ever.

⁶La abismon Vi kovris kiel per vesto, Sur la montoj staras akvo;

⁶Thou hadst covered it with the deep, as with a vesture; the waters stood above the mountains:

⁷De Via minaco gxi kuras, De la vocxo de Via tondro gxi forrapidas.

⁷At thy rebuke they fled, at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away; --

⁸GXi levigxas sur montojn, mallevigxas sur valojn, Al tiu loko, kiun Vi destinis por gxi.

⁸The mountains rose, the valleys sank, unto the place which thou hadst founded for them; --

⁹Vi faris limon, kiun gxi ne superpasxos, Por ke gxi ne revenu por kovri la teron.

⁹Thou hast set a bound which they may not pass over, that they turn not again to cover the earth.

¹⁰Vi sendas fontojn al la riveroj, Kiuj iras inter montoj;

¹⁰He sendeth the springs into the valleys: they run among the mountains;

¹¹Ili trinkigas cxiujn kampajn bestojn; Sovagxaj azenoj kvietigas sian soifon.

¹¹They give drink to every beast of the field; the wild asses quench their thirst.

¹²Apud ili logxas la birdoj cxielaj, El inter la brancxoj ili sonigas sian vocxon.

¹²The birds of heaven dwell by them; they give forth their voice from among the branches.

¹³Vi trinkigas la montojn el Viaj cxambroj; Per la produktoj de Viaj faroj satigxas la tero.

¹³He watereth the mountains from his upper-chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

¹⁴Vi kreskigas herbon por la bruto, Kaj verdajxon, kiu servas al la homo, Por elirigi panon el la tero.

¹⁴He maketh the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man; bringing forth bread out of the earth,

¹⁵Kaj la vino gajigas la koron de la homo, La vizagxo brilas de la oleo, Kaj la pano fortikigas la koron de la homo.

¹⁵And wine which gladdeneth the heart of man; making [his] face shine with oil; and with bread he strengtheneth man's heart.

¹⁶Satigxas la arboj de la Eternulo, La cedroj de Lebanon, kiujn Li plantis;

¹⁶The trees of Jehovah are satisfied, the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted,

¹⁷Kaj tie nestas birdoj; Cikonio havas sian logxejon sur abioj;

¹⁷Where the birds make their nests; [as for] the stork, the fir trees are her house.

¹⁸La altaj montoj estas por la ibeksoj, La rokoj estas rifugxejo por la hirakoj.

¹⁸The high mountains are for the wild goats; the cliffs, a refuge for the rock-badgers.

¹⁹Li arangxis la lunon laux la partoj de tempo; La suno scias sian subiron.

¹⁹He made the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth its going down.

²⁰Vi sendas mallumon, kaj farigxas nokto, Dum kiu vagas cxiuj arbaraj bestoj;

²⁰Thou makest darkness, and it is night, wherein all the beasts of the forest creep forth:

²¹La leonidoj krias pri rabakiro, Por peti de Dio sian mangxajxon.

²¹The young lions roar after the prey, and to seek their food from ùGod.

²²Kiam levigxas la suno, Ili sin kasxas kaj kusxigxas en siaj logxejoj.

²²The sun ariseth, they retreat, and lay them down in their dens.

²³Eliras homo por sia okupigxo, Por sia laboro gxis la vespero.

²³Man goeth forth unto his work, and to his labour until the evening.

²⁴Kiel multaj estas Viaj faroj, ho Eternulo! CXion Vi faris kun sagxo; La tero estas plena de Viaj faritajxoj.

²⁴How manifold are thy works, O Jehovah! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

²⁵Jen la maro, granda kaj vasta: Tie estas rampajxoj sennombraj, Bestoj malgrandaj kaj grandaj;

²⁵Yonder is the great and wide sea: therein are moving things innumerable, living creatures small and great.

²⁶Tie iras sxipoj; Tie estas la levjatano, kiun Vi kreis, ke gxi tie ludu.

²⁶There go the ships; [there] that leviathan, which thou hast formed to play therein.

²⁷These all look unto thee, that thou mayest give their food in its season:

²⁸That thou givest unto them, they gather; thou openest thy hand, they are filled with good.

²⁹Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled; thou takest away their breath, they expire and return to their dust.

³⁰Vi sendas Vian spiriton, tiam ili kreigxas; Kaj Vi renovigas la vizagxon de la tero.

³⁰Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created, and thou renewest the face of the earth.

³¹Gloro al la Eternulo estu eterne; La Eternulo gxoju pri Siaj faritajxoj.

³¹The glory of Jehovah will endure for ever; Jehovah will rejoice in his works.

³²Li ekrigardas la teron, kaj gxi tremas; Li ektusxas la montojn, kaj ili fumigxas.

³²He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth; he toucheth the mountains, and they smoke.

³³Mi kantados al la Eternulo, dum mi vivos; Mi muzikados al mia Dio, dum mi estos.

³³I will sing unto Jehovah as long as I live; I will sing psalms to my God while I have my being.

³⁴Agrabla estu al Li mia meditado; Mi gxojos pri la Eternulo.

³⁴My meditation shall be pleasant unto him; I will rejoice in Jehovah.

³⁵Malaperu pekuloj de sur la tero, Kaj malvirtuloj ne plu ekzistu. Benu, ho mia animo, la Eternulon. Haleluja!

³⁵Sinners shall be consumed out of the earth, and the wicked shall be no more. Bless Jehovah, O my soul. Hallelujah!
