¹{To the chief Musician. Of David. A Psalm.} O God of my praise, be not silent:

²CXar busxon malvirtan kaj busxon malican ili malfermis kontraux mi, Ili parolas kun mi per mensogema lango.

²For the mouth of the wicked [man] and the mouth of deceit are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue,

³Per vortoj de malamo ili min cxirkauxis, Kaj ili militas kontraux mi sen mia kulpo.

³And with words of hatred have they encompassed me; and they fight against me without a cause.

⁴Por mia amo ili min malamas; Sed mi pregxas.

⁴For my love they are mine adversaries; but I [give myself unto] prayer.

⁵Ili pagas al mi malbonon por bono Kaj malamon por mia amo.

⁵And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.

⁶Metu malvirtulon super lin; Kaj kontrauxulo starigxu cxe lia dekstra mano.

⁶Set a wicked [man] over him, and let [the] adversary stand at his right hand;

⁷Kiam li estos jugxata, li eliru kulpa; Kaj lia pregxo estu peko.

⁷When he shall be judged, let him go out guilty, and let his prayer become sin;

⁸Liaj tagoj estu malmultaj; Lian oficon ricevu alia.

⁸Let his days be few, let another take his office;

⁹Liaj infanoj estu orfoj, Kaj lia edzino estu vidvino.

⁹Let his sons be fatherless, and his wife a widow;

¹⁰Liaj infanoj vagadu, Kaj ili petu kaj sercxu apud siaj ruinoj.

¹⁰Let his sons be vagabonds and beg, and let them seek [their bread] far from their desolate places;

¹¹Kreditoro forprenu cxion, kion li havas; Kaj fremduloj disrabu lian laboron.

¹¹Let the usurer cast the net over all that he hath, and let strangers despoil his labour;

¹²Let there be none to extend kindness unto him, neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children;

¹³Lia idaro estu kondamnita al ekstermo; En la dua generacio elvisxigxu ilia nomo.

¹³Let his posterity be cut off; in the generation following let their name be blotted out:

¹⁴La malbonago de liaj patroj rememorigxu al la Eternulo, Kaj la peko de lia patrino ne elvisxigxu.

¹⁴Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with Jehovah, and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out;

¹⁵Ili estu cxiam antaux la Eternulo, Kaj Li ekstermu la memoron pri ili de sur la tero.

¹⁵Let them be before Jehovah continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth:

¹⁶Pro tio, ke li ne memoris fari bonfarojn, Kaj ke li persekutis mizerulon kaj malricxulon kaj korsuferanton, Por lin mortigi.

¹⁶Because he remembered not to shew kindness, but persecuted the afflicted and needy man, and the broken in heart, to slay him.

¹⁷Li amis malbenon, kaj gxi venis sur lin; Li ne volis benon, kaj gxi malproksimigxis de li.

¹⁷And he loved cursing; so let it come unto him. And he delighted not in blessing; and let it be far from him.

¹⁸Li metis sur sin malbenon, kiel veston; Kaj gxi penetris en lian internon, kiel akvo, Kaj en liajn ostojn, kiel oleo.

¹⁸And he clothed himself with cursing like his vestment; so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones;

¹⁹GXi estu por li kiel vesto, per kiu li sin kovras, Kaj kiel zono, kiun li cxiam portas cxirkaux si.

¹⁹Let it be unto him as a garment with which he covereth himself, and for a girdle wherewith he is constantly girded.

²⁰Tia estas de la Eternulo la agado kontraux miaj kontrauxuloj, Kaj kontraux tiuj, kiuj parolas malbonon kontraux mia animo.

²⁰Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from Jehovah, and of them that speak evil against my soul.

²¹Kaj Vi, ho Eternulo, mia Sinjoro, agu kun mi pro Via nomo; CXar bona estas Via favorkoreco, savu min.

²¹But do *thou* for me, Jehovah, Lord, for thy name's sake; because thy loving-kindness is good, deliver me:

²²CXar mi estas malricxulo kaj mizerulo, Kaj mia koro estas rompita en mia interno.

²²For I am afflicted and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.

²³Kiel ombro longigxanta mi malaperas; Oni forskuas min kiel akridon.

²³I am gone like a shadow when it lengtheneth; I am tossed about like the locust;

²⁴Miaj genuoj senfortigxis de fastado, Kaj mia karno perdis la grason.

²⁴My knees are failing through fasting, and my flesh hath lost its fatness;

²⁵Kaj mi farigxis mokatajxo por ili; Kiam ili vidas min, ili balancas sian kapon.

²⁵And I am become a reproach unto them; [when] they look upon me they shake their heads.

²⁶Helpu min, ho Eternulo, mia Dio; Savu min laux Via boneco.

²⁶Help me, Jehovah my God; save me according to thy loving-kindness:

²⁷Kaj oni sciu, ke tio estas Via mano; Ke Vi, ho Eternulo, tion faris.

²⁷That they may know that this is thy hand; that *thou*, Jehovah, hast done it.

²⁸Ili malbenas, sed Vi benu; Ili levigxis, sed ili estos hontigitaj, kaj Via sklavo gxojos.

²⁸Let *them* curse, but bless *thou*; when they rise up, let them be ashamed, and let thy servant rejoice.

²⁹Miaj kontrauxuloj kovrigxu per malhonoro, Kaj ili envolvigxu en sian honton kiel en veston.

²⁹Let mine adversaries be clothed with confusion, and let them cover themselves with their shame as with a mantle.

³⁰Mi forte gloros la Eternulon per mia busxo, Kaj meze de multaj homoj mi Lin lauxdos.

³⁰I will greatly celebrate Jehovah with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.

³¹CXar Li staras cxe la dekstra flanko de malricxulo, Por savi lin de tiuj, kiuj jugxas lian animon.

³¹For he standeth at the right hand of the needy, to save him from those that judge his soul.
