¹{[A Psalm] of David.} I will give thee thanks with my whole heart; before the gods will I sing psalms of thee.

²Mi klinigxas antaux Via sankta templo, Kaj mi gloras Vian nomon por Via boneco kaj vereco; CXar Vi grandigis pli ol cxio Vian nomon per Via vorto.

²I will bow down toward the temple of thy holiness, and celebrate thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth; for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

³En la tago, kiam mi vokis, Vi auxskultis min, Vi donis forton al mia animo.

³In the day when I called thou answeredst me; thou didst encourage me with strength in my soul.

⁴Gloros Vin, ho Eternulo, cxiuj regxoj de la tero, CXar ili auxdis la vortojn de Via busxo.

⁴All the kings of the earth shall celebrate thee, Jehovah, when they have heard the words of thy mouth;

⁵Kaj ili prikantos la vojojn de la Eternulo; CXar granda estas la gloro de la Eternulo.

⁵And they shall sing in the ways of Jehovah, for great is the glory of Jehovah.

⁶CXar kvankam la Eternulo estas alte, tamen Li rigardas humilulon, Kaj fierulon Li rimarkas de malproksime.

⁶For Jehovah is high; but he looketh upon the lowly, and the proud he knoweth afar off.

⁷Kvankam mi iras meze de suferoj, tamen Vi konservas mian vivon; Kontraux la kolero de miaj malamikoj Vi etendas Vian brakon, Kaj Via dekstra mano min helpas.

⁷Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou wilt stretch forth thy hand against the anger of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

⁸La Eternulo plenumos por mi. Ho Eternulo, Via boneco estas eterna; La kreitajxojn de Viaj manoj ne forlasu.

⁸Jehovah will perfect what concerneth me: thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, [endureth] for ever; forsake not the works of thine own hands.
