¹{A Song; a Psalm. Of the sons of Korah.} Great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the hill of his holiness.

²Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, [on] the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

³Dio estas konata en gxiaj palacoj, kiel rifugxejo.

³God is known in her palaces as a high fortress.

⁴Jen kolektigxis la regxoj, Sed cxiuj kune foriris.

⁴For behold, the kings assembled themselves, they passed by together;

⁵Ili vidis kaj ekmiris, Konfuzigxis kaj forkuris.

⁵They saw, -- so they marvelled; they were troubled, they fled in consternation:

⁶Teruro ilin atakis, Tremo, kiel cxe akusxantino.

⁶Trembling took hold upon them there; anguish, as of a woman in travail.

⁷Per orienta vento Vi ruinigis la sxipojn de Tarsxisx.

⁷With an east wind thou hast broken the ships of Tarshish.

⁸Kion ni auxdis, tion ni vidis En la urbo de la Eternulo Cebaot, en la urbo de nia Dio; Dio fortikigu gxin por cxiam! Sela.

⁸As we have heard, so have we seen, in the city of Jehovah of hosts, in the city of our God: God doth establish it for ever. Selah.

⁹Ni meditis, ho Dio, pri Via boneco, Interne de Via templo.

⁹We have thought, O God, of thy loving-kindness, in the midst of thy temple.

¹⁰Kiel Via nomo, ho Dio, Tiel Via gloro estas en la finoj de la tero; Plena de justeco estas Via dekstra mano.

¹⁰According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.

¹¹GXoju la monto Cion, GXoju la filinoj de Jehuda, Pro Via jugxoj.

¹¹Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.

¹²Iru cxirkaux Cion kaj cxirkauxrigardu gxin, Kalkulu gxiajn turojn.

¹²Walk about Zion, and go round about her: count the towers thereof;

¹³Atentu gxiajn fortikajxojn, Vizitu gxiajn palacojn, Por ke vi rakontu al estonta generacio.

¹³Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces: that ye may tell it to the generation following.

¹⁴CXar jen estas Dio, nia Dio, por cxiam kaj eterne; Li estos nia kondukanto gxis la morto.

¹⁴For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide until death.
