¹{To the chief Musician. Upon the Gittith. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm.} How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Jehovah of hosts!

²Mia animo deziras kaj sopiras al la kortoj de la Eternulo; Mia koro kaj mia korpo sentas ravon pri la viva Dio.

²My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of Jehovah; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living ùGod.

³Ecx birdo trovas domon kaj hirundo neston por si, En kiu gxi tenas siajn idojn: Viajn altarojn, ho Eternulo Cebaot, mia Regxo kaj mia Dio.

³Yea, the sparrow hath found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she layeth her young, thine altars, O Jehovah of hosts, my King and my God.

⁴Felicxaj estas tiuj, kiuj logxas en Via domo: Ili lauxdas Vin konstante. Sela.

⁴Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be constantly praising thee. Selah.

⁵Felicxaj estas la homoj, kies forto estas en Vi, Kaj en kies koro estas Viaj vojoj;

⁵Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee, -- they, in whose heart are the highways.

⁶Kiuj pasas tra la Valo de Ploro kaj faras tie fontojn, Kaj la printempa pluvo gxin kovras per benoj;

⁶Passing through the valley of Baca, they make it a well-spring; yea, the early rain covereth it with blessings.

⁷They go from strength to strength: [each one] will appear before God in Zion.

⁸Jehovah, God of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

⁹Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

¹⁰CXar tago en Viaj kortoj estas pli bona, ol mil aliaj: Mi preferas stari sur la sojlo de la domo de mia Dio, Ol logxi en tendoj de malvirto.

¹⁰For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God, than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

¹¹CXar Dio, la Eternulo, estas suno kaj sxildo; Favoron kaj honoron donas la Eternulo; Li ne domagxas bonon al tiuj, kiuj iras en virto.

¹¹For Jehovah Elohim is a sun and shield: Jehovah will give grace and glory; no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

¹²Ho Eternulo Cebaot, bone estas al la homo, kiu Vin fidas.

¹²Jehovah of hosts, blessed is the man that confideth in thee!
