¹Post tio mi vidis kvar angxelojn starantajn sur la kvar anguloj de la tero, retenantajn la kvar ventojn de la tero, por ke ne blovu vento sur la teron, nek sur la maron, nek sur ian arbon.

¹And after this I saw four angels standing upon the four corners of the earth, holding fast the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow upon the earth, nor upon the sea, nor upon any tree.

²Kaj mi vidis alian angxelon suprenirantan de la sunlevigxo, havantan sigelilon de la vivanta Dio; kaj li ekkriis per granda vocxo al la kvar angxeloj, al kiuj estis donite difekti la teron kaj la maron,

²And I saw another angel ascending from [the] sunrising, having [the] seal of [the] living God; and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it had been given to hurt the earth and the sea,

³dirante:Ne difektu la teron, nek la maron, nek la arbojn, antaux ol ni sigelos sur iliaj fruntoj la servistojn de nia Dio.

³saying, Hurt not the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we shall have sealed the bondmen of our God upon their foreheads.

⁴Kaj mi auxdis la nombron de la sigelitoj, cent kvardek kvar miloj, sigelitaj el cxiuj triboj de la Izraelidoj:

⁴And I heard the number of the sealed, a hundred [and] forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of [the] sons of Israel:

⁵El la tribo de Jehuda estis sigelitaj dek du miloj; El la tribo de Ruben, dek du miloj; El la tribo de Gad, dek du miloj;

⁵out of [the] tribe of Juda, twelve thousand sealed; out of [the] tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Gad, twelve thousand;

⁶El la tribo de Asxer, dek du miloj; El la tribo de Naftali, dek du miloj; El la tribo de Manase, dek du miloj;

⁶out of [the] tribe of Aser, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Nepthalim, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Manasseh, twelve thousand;

⁷El la tribo de Simeon, dek du miloj; El la tribo de Levi, dek du miloj; El la tribo de Isahxar, dek du miloj;

⁷out of [the] tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Levi, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand;

⁸El la tribo de Zebulun, dek du miloj; El la tribo de Jozef, dek du miloj; El la tribo de Benjamen estis sigelitaj dek du miloj.

⁸out of [the] tribe of Zabulun, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand sealed.

⁹Post tio mi rigardis, kaj jen granda homamaso, kiun neniu povis kalkuli, el cxiu nacio, kaj el cxiuj triboj kaj popoloj kaj lingvoj, starantaj antaux la trono kaj antaux la SXafido, vestitaj per blankaj roboj, kaj kun palmoj en iliaj manoj;

⁹After these things I saw, and lo, a great crowd, which no one could number, out of every nation and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palm branches in their hands.

¹⁰kaj ili kriis per granda vocxo, dirante:Savo al nia Dio, la sidanta sur la trono, kaj al la SXafido.

¹⁰And they cry with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb.

¹¹Kaj cxiuj angxeloj staris cxirkaux la trono kaj la presbiteroj kaj la kvar kreitajxoj; kaj ili falis sur sian vizagxon antaux la trono, kaj adorklinigxis al Dio,

¹¹And all the angels stood around the throne, and the elders, and the four living creatures, and fell before the throne upon their faces, and worshipped God,

¹²dirante:Amen; La lauxdo kaj la gloro kaj la sagxeco kaj la danko kaj la honoro kaj la potenco kaj la forto estu al nia Dio por cxiam kaj eterne. Amen.

¹²saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and strength, to our God, to the ages of ages. Amen.

¹³Kaj respondis unu el la presbiteroj, dirante al mi:Kiuj estas cxi tiuj per blankaj roboj vestitaj, kaj de kie ili venis?

¹³And one of the elders answered, saying to me, These who are clothed with white robes, who are they, and whence came they?

¹⁴Kaj mi diris al li:Mia sinjoro, vi scias. Kaj li diris al mi:CXi tiuj estas la venantoj el la granda afliktado, kaj ili lavis siajn robojn, kaj blankigis ilin en la sango de la SXafido.

¹⁴And I said to him, My lord, *thou* knowest. And he said to me, These are they who come out of the great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and have made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

¹⁵Tial ili estas antaux la trono de Dio; kaj ili servas al Li tage kaj nokte en Lia templo; kaj la Sidanto sur la trono etendos super ili Sian tabernaklon.

¹⁵Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple, and he that sits upon the throne shall spread his tabernacle over them.

¹⁶Ili ne plu malsatos, nek plu soifos; ne frapos ilin la suno nek ia varmego;

¹⁶They shall not hunger any more, neither shall they thirst any more, nor shall the sun at all fall on them, nor any burning heat;

¹⁷cxar la SXafido, kiu estas meze de la trono, pasxtos ilin kaj kondukos ilin al akvofontoj de vivo; kaj Dio forvisxos de iliaj okuloj cxiun larmon.

¹⁷because the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall shepherd them, and shall lead them to fountains of waters of life, and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.
