1{A Song of degrees.} Blessed is every one that feareth Jehovah, that walketh in his ways.
2Sa sööd siis oma käte vaevast, sa oled õnnis ja su käsi käib hästi.
2For thou shalt eat the labour of thy hands; happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
3Su naine on nagu viljakas viinapuu su maja nurgas; su pojad on nagu õlipuu võsud su laua ümber.
3Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine in the inner part of thy house; thy children like olive-plants round about thy table.
4Vaata, nõnda õnnistatakse tõesti meest, kes kardab Issandat!
4Behold, thus shall the man be blessed that feareth Jehovah.
5Issand õnnistagu sind Siionist ja saagu sa näha Jeruusalemma head põlve kogu oma eluaja!
5Jehovah will bless thee out of Zion; and mayest thou see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life,
6Ja saagu sa näha oma laste lapsi! Rahu Iisraelile!
6And see thy children's children. Peace be upon Israel!
