1Tura imi nuɣal d iḥeqqiyen s liman, ters-ed lehna gar-aɣ d Ṛebbi s Ssid-nneɣ Ɛisa Lmasiḥ.
1Therefore having been justified on the principle of faith, we have peace towards God through our Lord Jesus Christ;
2Yis daɣen i nufa abrid s liman ɣer ṛṛeḥma n Sidi Ṛebbi i deg nella tura. Lfeṛḥ-nneɣ, d asirem nesɛa belli a nțekki di lɛaḍima n Sidi Ṛebbi.
2by whom we have also access by faith into this favour in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God.
3Ula di lmeḥnat, nețțili di lfeṛḥ axaṭer neẓra lmeḥna tețțawi-d ṣṣbeṛ,
3And not only [that], but we also boast in tribulations, knowing that tribulation works endurance;
4ṣṣbeṛ isseǧhad deg ujeṛṛeb, lǧehd deg ujeṛṛeb ițțawi-d asirem.
4and endurance, experience; and experience, hope;
5Asirem-agi ulac deg-s lexdeɛ, axaṭer leḥmala n Sidi Ṛebbi teẓẓa deg ulawen-nneɣ s Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen i ɣ-d-yețțunefken ;
5and hope does not make ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by [the] Holy Spirit which has been given to us:
6asm'akken i ɣ-iɣleb ddnub ur s-nezmir ara, Lmasiḥ yemmut ɣef ddemma n imednuben di lweqt ilaqen.
6for we being still without strength, in [the] due time Christ has died for [the] ungodly.
7Iwɛeṛ i wemdan ad iqbel ad immet ɣef ddemma n uḥeqqi ; ahat ad yili win ara iqeblen ad immet ɣef ddemma n wemdan yelhan ;
7For scarcely for [the] just [man] will one die, for perhaps for [the] good [man] some one might also dare to die;
8ma d Lmasiḥ, nețța yemmut fell-aɣ m'akken nella d imednuben ; s wakka i ɣ-d-ibeggen Sidi Ṛebbi leḥmala-ines.
8but God commends *his* love to us, in that, we being still sinners, Christ has died for us.
9Imi nuɣal tura d iḥeqqiyen ɣer Sidi Ṛebbi s idammen n Lmasiḥ yuzzlen fell-aɣ, yis daɣen ara nețțusellek seg urrif n Sidi Ṛebbi.
9Much rather therefore, having been now justified in [the power of] his blood, we shall be saved by him from wrath.
10Asm'akken nella d iɛdawen-is, yefka-d Mmi-s iwakken s lmut-is a ɣ-issemṣaleḥ yid-es. Tura imi nemṣalaḥ d Sidi Ṛebbi, a nețțusellek daɣen s tudert n Mmi-s.
10For if, being enemies, we have been reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much rather, having been reconciled, we shall be saved in [the power of] his life.
11Mačči d ayagi kan, lameɛna tura lfeṛḥ-nneɣ atan di Sidi Ṛebbi, s Sidna Ɛisa Lmasiḥ i ɣ-issemṣalaḥen yid-es.
11And not only [that], but [we are] making our boast in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom now we have received the reconciliation.
12S wakka ihi, ddnub ikcem-ed ɣer ddunit s yiwen wemdan, amdan agi d Adem ; ddnub-agi yewwi-d lmut, lmut tețțawi akk imdanen, axaṭer imdanen meṛṛa denben.
12For this [cause], even as by one man sin entered into the world, and by sin death; and thus death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13Uqbel a d-yefk Sidi Ṛebbi ccariɛa i Musa, ddnub yella yakan di ddunit ; meɛna imdanen ur țțuḥasben ara s ccariɛa imi urɛad i d-tusi.
13(for until law sin was in [the] world; but sin is not put to account when there is no law;
14?as akka, si zzman n Adem armi d zzman n Sidna Musa lmut teḥkem ula ɣef yemdanen ur nɛuṣa ara Ṛebbi am akken i t-iɛuṣa Adem, nețța yellan d lemtel n win ara d-yasen.
14but death reigned from Adam until Moses, even upon those who had not sinned in the likeness of Adam's transgression, who is [the] figure of him to come.
15Ur nezmir ara a nmettel ddnub n Adem ɣer lemziya d ṛṛeḥma n Sidi Ṛebbi ; Adem iɛuṣa Sidi Ṛebbi yiwet n tikkelt yewwi-d lmut i yemdanen meṛṛa, acḥal ihi meqqṛet ṛṛeḥma n Sidi Ṛebbi i d-yețțunefken i yemdanen s Ɛisa Lmasiḥ.
15But [shall] not the act of favour [be] as the offence? For if by the offence of one the many have died, much rather has the grace of God, and the free gift in grace, which [is] by the one man Jesus Christ, abounded unto the many.
16Ṛṛeḥma-agi n Sidi Ṛebbi mačči am ddnub n yiwen wemdan. Axaṭer yiwen n ddnub yewwi-d lḥisab d lɛiqab, ma d ṛṛeḥma n Sidi Ṛebbi, tețțekkes lḥisab d lɛiqab ɣef waṭas n ddnubat.
16And [shall] not as by one that has sinned [be] the gift? For the judgment [was] of one to condemnation, but the act of favour, of many offences unto justification.
17Ma yella lmut teḥkem ɣef yemdanen meṛṛa s ddnub n yiwen wemdan, ihi wid iwumi d-tețțunefk ṛṛeḥma d lḥeqq, ad ḥekmen yerna ad idiren s Ɛisa Lmasiḥ.
17For if by the offence of the one death reigned by the one, much rather shall those who receive the abundance of grace, and of the free gift of righteousness, reign in life by the one Jesus Christ:)
18S wakka, ddnub n yiwen wemdan yesseɣli-d lɛiqab ɣef yemdanen meṛṛa, akken daɣen lḥeqq i gexdem yiwen wemdan, yewwi-d leslak i gessidiren imdanen meṛṛa.
18so then as [it was] by one offence towards all men to condemnation, so by one righteousness towards all men for justification of life.
19Ihi am akken ɛeṣṣu n yiwen wemdan, yerra aṭas n yemdanen d imednuben, akken daɣen ṭṭaɛa n yiwen wemdan terra aṭas n yemdanen d iḥeqqiyen.
19For as indeed by the disobedience of the one man the many have been constituted sinners, so also by the obedience of the one the many will be constituted righteous.
20Ccariɛa tger-ed iman-is iwakken a d-tbeggen acḥal meqqeṛ ddnub, lameɛna anda yekteṛ ddnub, ṛṛeḥma n Sidi Ṛebbi meqqṛet akteṛ.
20But law came in, in order that the offence might abound; but where sin abounded grace has overabounded,
21S wakka ddnub yeḥkem s lmut, ma d ṛṛeḥma n Sidi Ṛebbi teḥkem s lḥeqq, tețțawi ɣer tudert n dayem s Ɛisa Lmasiḥ Ssid-nneɣ.
21in order that, even as sin has reigned in [the power of] death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
