¹Dėkokite Viešpačiui, šaukitės Jo vardo, skelbkite tautose Jo darbus.

¹Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name! Make his doings known among the peoples.

²Giedokite Jam, giedokite Jam psalmes. Garsinkite visus Jo stebuklus.

²Sing to him, sing praises to him! Tell of all his marvelous works.

³Didžiuokitės Jo šventu vardu. Tegu džiaugiasi širdis tų, kurie ieško Viešpaties.

³Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.

⁴Ieškokite Viešpaties ir Jo jėgos. Nuolatos ieškokite Jo veido.

⁴Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more.

⁵Atsiminkite Jo nuostabius darbus, kuriuos Jis yra padaręs, Jo stebuklus ir Jo lūpų ištartus sprendimus.

⁵Remember his marvelous works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

⁶Jūs, Jo tarno Abraomo palikuonys, Jokūbo vaikai, Jo išrinktieji.

⁶you seed of Abraham, his servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

⁷Jis yra Viešpats, mūsų Dievas; visoje žemėje galioja Jo sprendimai.

⁷He is Yahweh, our God. His judgments are in all the earth.

⁸Jis per amžius atsimena savo sandorą, žodį, kurį Jis įsakė tūkstančiui kartų,

⁸He has remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,

⁹sandorą, kurią Jis padarė su Abraomu, ir priesaiką, duotą Izaokui.

⁹the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac,

¹⁰Jis patvirtino ją Jokūbui įstatymu, Izraeliui­amžina sandora,

¹⁰and confirmed the same to Jacob for a statute; to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

¹¹sakydamas: “Tau duosiu Kanaano šalį, tavo paveldėjimo dalį”,

¹¹saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance”;

¹²kai jie buvo negausūs skaičiumi, tik ateiviai joje.

¹²when they were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners in it.

¹³Jie keliavo iš tautos į tautą, iš vienos karalystės į kitą.

¹³They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.

¹⁴Jis niekam neleido jų skriausti, sudrausdavo dėl jų karalius:

¹⁴He allowed no one to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,

¹⁵“Nelieskite mano pateptųjų ir mano pranašams nedarykite pikto”.

¹⁵“Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”

¹⁶Jis žemei badą pašaukė, duonos ramstį sunaikino.

¹⁶He called for a famine on the land. He destroyed the food supplies.

¹⁷Jis pasiuntė pirma jų vyrą, Juozapą, vergijon parduotą.

¹⁷He sent a man before them. Joseph was sold for a slave.

¹⁸Jie supančiojo jo kojas, sukaustė jį geležimi,

¹⁸They bruised his feet with shackles. His neck was locked in irons,

¹⁹kol įvyko Jo žodis; Viešpaties žodis išmėgino jį.

¹⁹until the time that his word happened, and Yahweh’s word proved him true.

²⁰Karalius paleisti jį liepė, tautos valdovas išlaisvino jį.

²⁰The king sent and freed him; even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free.

²¹Savo namų viešpačiu jį paskyrė ir viso savo turto valdovu,

²¹He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all of his possessions;

²²kad vadovautų šalies kunigaikščiams, išminties mokytų vyresniuosius.

²²to discipline his princes at his pleasure, and to teach his elders wisdom.

²³Tuomet Izraelis Egiptan atvyko ir Jokūbas viešėjo Chamo krašte.

²³Israel also came into Egypt. Jacob lived in the land of Ham.

²⁴Čia Jis labai pagausino savo tautą ir padarė ją stipresnę už jų priešus.

²⁴He increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their adversaries.

²⁵Jis pažadino jų širdyse neapykantą savo tautai, ir jie ėmė su Jo tarnais elgtis klastingai.

²⁵He turned their heart to hate his people, to conspire against his servants.

²⁶Jis pasiuntė Mozę, savo tarną, ir Aaroną, kurį išsirinko.

²⁶He sent Moses, his servant, and Aaron, whom he had chosen.

²⁷Jie Chamo krašte padarė nuostabių ženklų ir stebuklų.

²⁷They performed miracles among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.

²⁸Jis siuntė tamsą ir aptemdė kraštą, ir jie nepasipriešino Jo žodžiui.

²⁸He sent darkness, and made it dark. They didn’t rebel against his words.

²⁹Jis pavertė jų vandenis krauju, jų žuvis išmarino.

²⁹He turned their waters into blood, and killed their fish.

³⁰Varlės jų žemę apniko, net karalių kambariuose jų buvo.

³⁰Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the rooms of their kings.

³¹Jis tarė, ir visą jų kraštą užplūdo įvairios musės bei mašalai.

³¹He spoke, and swarms of flies came, and lice in all their borders.

³²Vietoje lietaus Jis siuntė krušą ir liepsnojančią ugnį visame krašte.

³²He gave them hail for rain, with lightning in their land.

³³Jis išmušė figmedžius ir vynmedžius, visame krašte medžius sunaikino.

³³He struck their vines and also their fig trees, and shattered the trees of their country.

³⁴Jam tarus, užplūdo begalės skėrių ir žiogų,

³⁴He spoke, and the locusts came, and the grasshoppers, without number,

³⁵kurie visus augalus jų krašte ir laukų derlių surijo.

³⁵ate up every plant in their land; and ate up the fruit of their ground.

³⁶Jis pirmagimius visus krašte ištiko, jų pajėgumo pradžią.

³⁶He struck also all the firstborn in their land, the first fruits of all their manhood.

³⁷Jis išvedė juos su sidabru ir auksu, jų giminėse nebuvo ligonių.

³⁷He brought them forth with silver and gold. There was not one feeble person among his tribes.

³⁸Džiaugėsi egiptiečiai, jiems iškeliavus, nes labai išgąsdinti buvo.

³⁸Egypt was glad when they departed, for the fear of them had fallen on them.

³⁹Jis dengė juos debesimi ir naktį apšvietė juos ugnimi.

³⁹He spread a cloud for a covering, fire to give light in the night.

⁴⁰Jiems paprašius, Jis putpelių jiems atsiuntė, maitino juos dangaus duona.

⁴⁰They asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of the sky.

⁴¹Jis perskėlė uolą, ir ištryško vandenys, jie tekėjo kaip upė per sausą žemę.

⁴¹He opened the rock, and waters gushed out. They ran as a river in the dry places.

⁴²Jis atsiminė savo šventą pažadą Abraomui, savo tarnui,

⁴²For he remembered his holy word, and Abraham, his servant.

⁴³ir išvedė savo tautą su džiaugsmu, savo išrinktuosius su linksmybėmis.

⁴³He brought forth his people with joy, his chosen with singing.

⁴⁴Pagonių žemes jiems išdalino, tautų turtai jiems atiteko,

⁴⁴He gave them the lands of the nations. They took the labor of the peoples in possession,

⁴⁵kad Jo įsakymų laikytųsi, vykdytų Jo įstatymą. Girkite Viešpatį!

⁴⁵that they might keep his statutes, and observe his laws. Praise Yah!
