¹Dėkokite Viešpačiui, nes Jis geras, nes Jo gailestingumas amžinas.

¹Give thanks to Yahweh, “Yahweh” is God’s proper Name, sometimes rendered “LORD” (all caps) in other translations. for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.

²Taip tekartoja Viešpaties išpirktieji, kuriuos Jis išpirko iš priešo rankos,

²Let the redeemed by Yahweh say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the adversary,

³ir surinko juos iš kraštų: iš rytų ir vakarų, iš šiaurės ir pietų.

³And gathered out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.

⁴Po dykumą jie klajojo tuščiais keliais, nerasdami miesto, kur galėtų gyventi.

⁴They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way. They found no city to live in.

⁵Jie alko ir troško, jų sielos nusilpo.

⁵Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.

⁶Varge jie Viešpaties šaukėsi, Jis iš sielvartų juos išvadavo.

⁶Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses,

⁷Jis vedė juos teisingu keliu, kad jie nueitų į gyvenamą miestą.

⁷he led them also by a straight way, that they might go to a city to live in.

⁸Tegiria jie Viešpatį už Jo gerumą, už Jo stebuklus žmonių vaikams.

⁸Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works to the children of men!

⁹Jis pagirdė trokštančią sielą, išalkusią sielą pripildė gėrybių.

⁹For he satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good.

¹⁰Kurie sėdėjo tamsoje ir mirties šešėlyje, geležimi ir skurdu sukaustyti,­

¹⁰Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron,

¹¹nes buvo sukilę prieš Dievo žodžius ir paniekinę Aukščiausiojo patarimą,

¹¹because they rebelled against the words of God The Hebrew word rendered “God” is “Elohim.” , and condemned the counsel of the Most High.

¹²todėl Jis pažemino vargu jų širdis,­ krito, ir niekas jiems nepadėjo.

¹²Therefore he brought down their heart with labor. They fell down, and there was none to help.

¹³Varge jie šaukėsi Viešpaties, Jis iš sielvartų juos išgelbėjo.

¹³Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.

¹⁴Jis išvedė juos iš tamsos ir mirties šešėlio ir sutraukė jų pančius.

¹⁴He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bonds in sunder.

¹⁵Tegiria jie Viešpatį už Jo gerumą, už Jo stebuklus žmonių vaikams.

¹⁵Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works to the children of men!

¹⁶Jis sudaužė varinius vartus ir geležinius skląsčius sulaužė.

¹⁶For he has broken the gates of brass, and cut through bars of iron.

¹⁷Kvailiai dėl savo nedorybių ir dėl savo kalčių kenčia.

¹⁷Fools are afflicted because of their disobedience, and because of their iniquities.

¹⁸Jiems nebemielas joks valgis, jie priartėjo prie mirties vartų.

¹⁸Their soul abhors all kinds of food. They draw near to the gates of death.

¹⁹Varge jie šaukiasi Viešpaties, Jis iš sielvartų juos išgelbsti.

¹⁹Then they cry to Yahweh in their trouble, he saves them out of their distresses.

²⁰Jis siuntė savo žodį ir išgydė juos, iš pražūties juos išlaisvino.

²⁰He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves.

²¹Tegiria jie Viešpatį už Jo gerumą, už Jo stebuklus žmonių vaikams.

²¹Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works to the children of men!

²²Teaukoja Jam padėkos aukas ir džiūgaudami teskelbia Jo darbus.

²²Let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with singing.

²³Kas laivais plaukia į jūrą, vandenų platybėje prekiauja,

²³Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business in great waters;

²⁴tie mato Viešpaties darbus ir Jo stebuklus gelmėse.

²⁴These see Yahweh’s works, and his wonders in the deep.

²⁵Jam įsakius, audros pakyla, šiaušiasi bangos.

²⁵For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up its waves.

²⁶Ligi debesų jie pakyla, į gelmes vėl sminga, širdis jų tirpsta nelaimėje.

²⁶They mount up to the sky; they go down again to the depths. Their soul melts away because of trouble.

²⁷Jie svirduliuoja ir klydinėja kaip girti, jų jėgos baigia išsekti.

²⁷They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.

²⁸Varge jie Viešpaties šaukiasi, Jis iš sielvartų juos išvaduoja.

²⁸Then they cry to Yahweh in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distress.

²⁹Jis nutildo audrą, nuramina bangas.

²⁹He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still.

³⁰Tada jie džiaugiasi nurimusia jūra. Jis nuveda juos į geidžiamą uostą.

³⁰Then they are glad because it is calm, so he brings them to their desired haven.

³¹Tegiria jie Viešpatį už Jo gerumą, už Jo stebuklus žmonių vaikams.

³¹Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful works for the children of men!

³²Jie teaukština Jį tautos susirinkime, tegiria Jį vyresniųjų taryboje.

³²Let them exalt him also in the assembly of the people, and praise him in the seat of the elders.

³³Upes Jis dykuma paverčia, vandens šaltinius­sausa žeme,

³³He turns rivers into a desert, water springs into a thirsty ground,

³⁴derlingą žemę paverčia druskynais dėl nedorybių žmonių, kurie joje gyvena.

³⁴and a fruitful land into a salt waste, for the wickedness of those who dwell in it.

³⁵Jis dykumą ežeru paverčia ir sausą žemę­vandens šaltiniais.

³⁵He turns a desert into a pool of water, and a dry land into water springs.

³⁶Jis alkanuosius apgyvendina ten, kad jie įkurtų gyvenamą miestą.

³⁶There he makes the hungry live, that they may prepare a city to live in,

³⁷Jie apsėja laukus, pasodina vynuogynus, kurie atneša derlių.

³⁷sow fields, plant vineyards, and reap the fruits of increase.

³⁸Jis palaimina juos, ir jų labai padaugėja, jų galvijams neleidžia mažėti.

³⁸He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly. He doesn’t allow their livestock to decrease.

³⁹Kai jų sumažėja ir jie pažeminami priespauda, nelaimėmis ir širdgėla,

³⁹Again, they are diminished and bowed down through oppression, trouble, and sorrow.

⁴⁰Jis paniekina kunigaikščius ir klaidina juos dykumoje be kelio,

⁴⁰He pours contempt on princes, and causes them to wander in a trackless waste.

⁴¹bet Jis pakelia vargšą iš nelaimės, padaro gausią kaip bandą jo giminę.

⁴¹Yet he lifts the needy out of their affliction, and increases their families like a flock.

⁴²Teisieji tai matys ir džiaugsis, o nedorybė užčiaups savo burną.

⁴²The upright will see it, and be glad. All the wicked will shut their mouths.

⁴³Išmintingasis tai pamatys ir supras Viešpaties malonę.

⁴³Whoever is wise will pay attention to these things. They will consider the loving kindnesses of Yahweh.
