1परमेश्वराची स्तुती करा. परमेश्वराच्या सेवकांनो त्याची स्तुती करा. परमेश्वराच्या नावाचे गुणगान करा.
1Praise ye Jah! Praise, ye servants of Jehovah. Praise the name of Jehovah.
2परमेश्वराचे नाव आता आणि सदैव धन्य व्हावे असे मला वाटते.
2The name of Jehovah is blessed, From henceforth, and unto the age.
3पूर्वेला सूर्य उगवतो तिथपासून ते तो जिथे मावळतो तिथपर्यंत परमेश्वराच्या नावाचे गुणगान व्हावे असे मला वाटते.
3From the rising of the sun unto its going in, Praised [is] the name of Jehovah.
4परमेश्वर सगळ्या देशांपेक्षा उंच आहे. त्याचे तेज आकाशापेक्षा उंच जाते.
4High above all nations [is] Jehovah, Above the heavens [is] his honour.
5कुणीही माणूस आमचा देव, जो परमेश्वर आहे त्याच्यासारखा नाही. देव स्वर्गात उंच बसतो.
5Who [is] as Jehovah our God, He is exalting [Himself] to sit?
6देव आमच्या वर इतका उंच आहे की त्याला आकाश आणि पृथ्वी यांकडे खाली वाकून बघावे लागते.
6He is humbling [Himself] to look On the heavens and on the earth.
7देव गरीब लोकांना घाणीतून वर उचलतो. देव भिकाऱ्यांना कचऱ्याच्या ढिगातून काढतो.
7He is raising up from the dust the poor, From a dunghill He exalteth the needy.
8आणि देव त्या लोकांना महत्व देतो. देव त्या लोकांना महत्वाचे नेते बनवतो.
8To cause to sit with princes, With the princes of His people.
9स्त्रीला मूळ होत नसेल तर देव तिला मुले देईल आणि तिला आनंदी करेल. परमेश्वराची स्तुती करा.
9Causing the barren one of the house to sit, A joyful mother of sons; praise ye Jah!
