1Huan Jobin a dawnga, hichiin a chi a:
1Then Job answered and said,
2Bangtan ka kha hihbuaia, thutea honhihjan gawp ding na hi ua?
2How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words?
3Hiai sawmvei tak na honkouta ua: ka tunga giloutaka na hih uh na zum kei ua.
3These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed that ye make yourselves strange to me.
4Huan na na paikhialta mawng leng maw, keimah kianga ka diklouhna om gige hi.
4And be it indeed that I have erred, mine error remaineth with myself.
5Kei demin nou kiliansak petmah ve nuchin, ka minsiatna ka tungah gen ven uchin:
5If indeed ye will magnify yourselves against me, and plead against me my reproach:
6Pathianin ka thu ah honzouta chih tuin thei un, huan a lenin a honum suak hi.
6Know now that God hath overthrown me, and hath compassed me with his net.
7Ngai un, Hiamgamna, chiin ka kikou khiaa, himahleh jakin ka om kei: panpih deihin ka kikoua, himahleh vaihawmna a om kei hi.
7Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment.
8Ka pai theihlouhna dingin ka lampi a um a, huan ka paina dingte ah khomial a koih hi.
8He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths.
9Ka thupina honsuahsaka, ka lu akipan lallukhu a la.
9He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown from my head.
10Ning chitengah a hon hihniama, ka mangta hi: huan, sing bangin ka lametna a bot khia.
10He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he removed like a tree.
11Ka tungah a hehna leng a soua, amah adingin a galte laka khat bangin a honsim hi.
11He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as one of his enemies.
12A sepaihpawlte a hongkuan khawm ua, ka siatna dingin a lampi uh a bawl uh, huan ka puanin kimvelin puanin a kai uh.
12His troops come together, and raise up their way against me, and encamp round about my tabernacle.
13Kei akipanin ka unaute gamlapi ah a koiha, ka mel-theihte kei akipanin a mituam vekta uh.
13He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me.
14Ka tanauten a honjuausanta ua, huan ka lawm theihngeiten a honmangngilhta uh.
14My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me.
15Ka in tengte leh, ka sikhanuten, mikhual a honsa ua: a mitmuh un namdangmi ka hi.
15They that dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am an alien in their sight.
16Ka sikha ka sama, a hondawng kei, ka kamin amah khem mahleng leng.
16I called my servant, and he gave me no answer; I intreated him with my mouth.
17Ka ji adingin muhthadahhuai ka hia, ka nu tate adingin, kihhuai.
17My breath is strange to my wife, though I intreated for the children's sake of mine own body.
18Naupang neute nangawnin a honsimmoh ua; ka thoh leh, ka siatna dingin thu a gen uhi.
18Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and they spake against me.
19Ka lawm gilte tengtengin kei a honhua ua: huan amau ka itte ka tungah a hel uh.
19All my inward friends abhorred me: and they whom I loved are turned against me.
20Ka guh ka vun ah leh ka sa ah a belh bikbeka, huan ka ha vun toh ka suakta hi.
20My bone cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth.
21Honhehpih un, honhehpih un, Aw nou ka lawmte; Pathian khutin kei a honkhoihta ngala.
21Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me.
22Bangdia Pathian banga nou honsawi na hi ua, ka saa bangdia lungkim lou na hi ua?
22Why do ye persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh?
23Aw ka thute tuin gelhin om le uh aw; Aw laibu ah kigelh lut le aw;
23Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!
24Sik leh ngen gelhna zumin khantawn adingin suangpia gelh hile uh aw;
24That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!
25Himahleh ka Tanpa a hing chih leh, leitungah a tawp chiangin a ding ding chih ka thei hi:
25For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
26Huan ka vun huchibanga hihsiata a om khit nungin, himahleh ka sa akipan Pathian ka mu ding hi:
26And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
27Keimah adingin amah keimahmahin ka mu dia, huan ka miten a en dia, midang hi louin. Ka sungah ka lungtang a sidangta hi!
27Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
28Amah bangchibangin i sawi ta phet diamah; na chih uleh, kei ah thu bul muhin a om chih theiin;Namsau kihta un: hehnain lah namsau gawtnate a hontun ngala, huchia vaihawmna a om chih na theih theihna ding un.
28But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me?
29Namsau kihta un: hehnain lah namsau gawtnate a hontun ngala, huchia vaihawmna a om chih na theih theihna ding un.
29Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a judgment.
