1Hon enjuite hi un, kei leng Kris enjuipa ka hih mahbangin
1Be imitators of me, even as I also am of Christ.
2Huan, bangkima non theihgige jiak un leh thukhah kon hilh bang taka na vom chinten jiak un kon phat ahi.
2Now I praise you, brothers, that you remember me in all things, and hold firm the traditions, even as I delivered them to you.
3Ahihhangin, pasal peuhmah lutang tuh Kris ahi, numei lutang tuh pasal ahi, Kris lu tuh Pathian ahi chih na theih uh ka deih hi.
3But I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God.
4Pasal, a lu khuh kawma thum hiam, thugen hiam peuhmahin, a lu a selphou hi.
4Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head.
5Ahihhangin, numei, a lu khuhloua thum hiam, thugen hiam peuhmahin a lu a selphou ahi; metmai toh kibangleltak ahi ngala.
5But every woman praying or prophesying with her head unveiled dishonors her head. For it is one and the same thing as if she were shaved.
6Numei a lu khuh loua a om ngal leh met vanglak hen. Ahihhangin, numei adinga sam met hiam mei maihiam a zumhuai leh, kikhuh hen.
6For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered.
7Pasal jaw Pathian batpih leh thupina a hih jiakin a lu a khuh ding hi lou himhim ahi; numei bel pasal thupina ahi a.
7For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, because he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man.
8Pasal jaw numei akipana pawt ahi keia; numei bel pasal akipana pawt ahi jaw hi:
8For man is not from woman, but woman from man;
9Pasal numei adia siam leng ahi sam kei; numei bel pasal adia siam ahi ajaw:
9for neither was man created for the woman, but woman for the man.
10Huai ahihjiakin, angelte jiakin numeiin pasal thuneih chiamtehna a khuk ding ahi.
10For this cause the woman ought to have authority on her head, because of the angels.
11Himahleh, Toupa thilgel dan ah, numei pasal louin a om theikeia, pasal leng numei louin a om thei sam kei hi.
11Nevertheless, neither is the woman independent of the man, nor the man independent of the woman, in the Lord.
12Numei pasal akipana pawt ahi bangmahin pasal leng numei laka piang ahi ngal a; ahihhangin, bangkim Pathiana kipana pawt vek ahi.
12For as woman came from man, so a man also comes through a woman; but all things are from God.
13Noumau kingaihtuah dih ua, numeiin a lu khuh loua Pathian kianga thum a kilawm hiam?
13Judge for yourselves. Is it appropriate that a woman pray to God unveiled?
14Pasal in sam sau a neih leh, amah adingin a zumhuai ahi chih na lungtang pianpih un leng a honthei sak kei ahia?
14Doesn’t even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him?
15Numeiin bel sam sau a neih leh amah dingin thupina ahi jaw; a sam khuhna dinga piak ahi ngala.
15But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her, for her hair is given to her for a covering.
16Abang abang hitaleh, kuapeuh a selkhah leh, huchibang dan himhim i neikei uh, Pathian saptuam pawlten leng a nei sam kei hi.
16But if any man seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither do God’s assemblies.
17Ahihhangin, nou hiai thu ka hon hilhna ah kon phat theikei, na hoih semna ding lam uh hi louin, na siat semna ding lam jaw ua na kikhop nak jiak un.
17But in giving you this command, I don’t praise you, that you come together not for the better but for the worse.
18Amasapenin, saptuamte-a na kikhop un, na lak uah kilangkhenna a om nak chih ka za ngala; gin leng ka gingta sim sam hi.
18For first of all, when you come together in the assembly, I hear that divisions exist among you, and I partly believe it.
19Na lak ua a taktakte a lat theihna ding un, na lak ua gin tuamna leng a om sam him ding ahi.
19For there also must be factions among you, that those who are approved may be revealed among you.
20Huchibangin, na kikhop un, Toupa nitakan nek theihna vual ahi kei:
20When therefore you assemble yourselves together, it is not the Lord’s supper that you eat.
21Michihin nanek un noumau nitakan na ne masa jel ngal ua; huchiin, mi khat gil a kiala, adangin a kham ngala.
21For in your eating each one takes his own supper first. One is hungry, and another is drunken.
22Bangchidan ahia? Nek leh dawnna ding, in na neikei ua hia? Ahihkeileh, Pathian saptuamte na musit ua, bangmah neiloute na selphou ua hia? Na kiang uah bang ka genta dia? Kon phat dia hia? Hiai lam thu ah ka honphat theikei hi.
22What, don’t you have houses to eat and to drink in? Or do you despise God’s assembly, and put them to shame who don’t have? What shall I tell you? Shall I praise you? In this I don’t praise you.
23Ka thu honhilh sawn Toupa kianga kipana ka muh ahi a, huchia Toupa Jesun matsaka a om jana, tanghou a laka,
23For I received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which he was betrayed took bread.
24Kipahthu a gen khita a balkhapa, Hiai ka pumpi nou adia piak ahi, Keimah theihgigena in hiai hih jel un, a chih.
24When he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “Take, eat. This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in memory of me.”
25Huchimahbanga, nitakan nek khita nou leng a laka, Hiai nou ka sisana thukhun thak ahi, Na dawn teng un keimah theihgigena in hiai hih jel un, a chih.
25In the same way he also took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink, in memory of me.”
26Huai tanghou na nek ua, nou na dawn teng un, a hongpai nawn masiah, Toupa sihna na phuangjak jel uh ahi ngala.
26For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
27Huaijiakin, kuapeuh kilawm loutaka tanghou ne hiam, Toupa nou dawn hiam tuh, Toupa pumpi leh sisan tungah siamlouh a tang ding hi.
27Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord’s cup in a way unworthy of the Lord will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.
28Huchiin, mi amah kienchian jaw hen, huchibangin tanghou tuh nein nou tuh dawn hen.
28But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.
29A ne leh dawnin, Toupa pumpi ngentel taka a ngaihtuah keileh, amah tunga vaihawmna dingin a nein a dawn jel ahi ngala.
29For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy way eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he doesn’t discern the Lord’s body.
30Hiaijiakin, na lak ua mi tampi na hat kei ua, na jawngkhal uhi, duaisan leng na ihmu kei uhi.
30For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep.
31Ahihhangin, ngentel takin eimah kingaihtuah jel lehang vaihawm saka om nak lou ding i hi uhi.
31For if we discerned ourselves, we wouldn’t be judged.
32Himahleh, vaihawm saka i omin leng, khovel toh siamlouhtanga i om louhna dingin, Toupa taihilhin i om jel ahi.
32But when we are judged, we are punished by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
33Huaijiakin, ka unaute aw, ne dinga na kikhop in kingak chiat un.Na kikhop uh vaihawmna na thuak pih louhna ding un, kuapeuhin a gil a kial leh a in lamah ne hen. Huan, thu dang jaw ka hong peuhpeuh chiangin kon hilh ding hi.
33Therefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.
34Na kikhop uh vaihawmna na thuak pih louhna ding un, kuapeuhin a gil a kial leh a in lamah ne hen. Huan, thu dang jaw ka hong peuhpeuh chiangin kon hilh ding hi.
34But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest your coming together be for judgment. The rest I will set in order whenever I come.
