¹Binecuvintează, suflete, pe Domnul, şi tot ce este în mine să binecuvinteze Numele Lui cel sfînt!

¹Praise Yahweh, my soul! All that is within me, praise his holy name!

²Binecuvintează, suflete, pe Domnul, şi nu uita nici una din binefacerile Lui!

²Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits;

³El îţi iartă toate fărădelegile tale El îţi vindecă toate boalele tale;

³who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases;

⁴El îţi izbăveşte viaţa din groapă, El te încununează cu bunătate şi îndurare;

⁴who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies;

⁵El îţi satură de bunătăţi bătrîneţa, şi te face să întinereşti iarăş ca vulturul.

⁵who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

⁶Domnul face dreptate şi judecată tuturor celor asupriţi.

⁶Yahweh executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed.

⁷El Şi -a arătat căile Sale lui Moise, şi lucrările Sale copiilor lui Israel.

⁷He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the children of Israel.

⁸Domnul este îndurător şi milostiv, îndelung răbdător si bogat în bunătate.

⁸Yahweh is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness.

⁹El nu Se ceartă fără încetare, şi nu ţine mînia pe vecie.

⁹He will not always accuse; neither will he stay angry forever.

¹⁰Nu ne face după păcatele noastre, nu ne pedepseşte după fărădelegile noastre.

¹⁰He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor repaid us for our iniquities.

¹¹Ci cît sînt de sus cerurile faţă de pămînt, atît este de mare bunătatea Lui pentru cei ce se tem de El;

¹¹For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him.

¹²cît este de departe răsăritul de apus, atît de mult depărtează El fărădelegile noastre dela noi.

¹²As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

¹³Cum se îndură un tată de copiii lui, aşa Se îndură domnul de ceice se tem de El.

¹³Like a father has compassion on his children, so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him.

¹⁴Căci El ştie din ce sîntem făcuţi; Îşi aduce aminte că sîntem ţărînă.

¹⁴For he knows how we are made. He remembers that we are dust.

¹⁵Omul! zilele lui sînt ca iarba, şi înfloreşte ca floarea de pe cîmp.

¹⁵As for man, his days are like grass. As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.

¹⁶Cînd trece un vînt peste ea, nu mai este, şi locul pe care -l cuprindea, n'o mai cunoaşte.

¹⁶For the wind passes over it, and it is gone. Its place remembers it no more.

¹⁷Dar bunătatea Domnului ţine în veci pentru ceice se tem de El, şi îndurarea Lui pentru copiii copiilor lor,

¹⁷But Yahweh’s loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, his righteousness to children’s children;

¹⁸pentru ceice păzesc legămîntul Lui, şi îşi aduc aminte de poruncile Lui, ca să le împlinească.

¹⁸to those who keep his covenant, to those who remember to obey his precepts.

¹⁹Domnul Şi -a aşezat scaunul de domnie în ceruri, şi domnia Lui stăpîneşte peste tot.

¹⁹Yahweh has established his throne in the heavens. His kingdom rules over all.

²⁰Binecuvîntaţi pe Domnul, îngerii Lui, cari sînteţi tari în putere, cari împliniţi poruncile Lui, şi cari ascultaţi de glasul cuvîntului Lui.

²⁰Praise Yahweh, you angels of his, who are mighty in strength, who fulfill his word, obeying the voice of his word.

²¹Binecuvîntaţi pe Domnul, toate oştirile Lui, robii Lui, cari faceţi voia Lui!

²¹Praise Yahweh, all you armies of his, you servants of his, who do his pleasure.

²²Binecuvîntaţi pe Domnul, toate lucrările Lui, în toate locurile stăpînirii Lui! Binecuvintează, suflete, pe Domnul!

²²Praise Yahweh, all you works of his, in all places of his dominion. Praise Yahweh, my soul!
