¹A Hospodin hovoril Mojžišovi a riekol:

¹And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

²Prikáž synom Izraelovým a povieš im: Keď vojdete do zeme Kanaána - to je tá zem, ktorá vám pripadne do dedičstva, zem Kanaána, podľa svojich hraníc -,

²Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan, this shall be the land that shall fall to you for an inheritance, the land of Canaan according to the borders thereof.

³južná strana vám bude od púšte Tsin popri území Edomovom. A južná hranica vám bude od konca Slaného mora na východ.

³Then your south side shall be from the wilderness of Zin alongside of Edom, and your southern border shall be from the end of the salt sea eastward;

⁴A hranica sa vám obráti od juhu hore ku svahu Akrabbím a prejde do Tsina a bude mať svoje východiská južne od Kádeš-barnee a vyjde do Chacar-adára a odtiaľ prejde do Acmony.

⁴and your border shall turn from the south of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin, and shall end southward at Kadesh-barnea, and shall go on to Hazar-Addar, and pass on to Azmon.

⁵A hranica sa obráti z Acmony k Egyptskému potoku a bude sa tiahnuť na západ a vyjde k moru.

⁵And the border shall turn from Azmon unto the torrent of Egypt, and shall end at the sea.

⁶A čo do západnej hranice, budete mať Veľké more, to bude hranicou. To vám bude západnou hranicou.

⁶And as west border ye shall have the great sea, and [its] coast. This shall be your west border.

⁷A toto vám bude severnou hranicou: od Veľkého mora vyznačíte si vrch Hor.

⁷And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall mark out for you mount Hor;

⁸Od vrchu Hor si vyznačíte hranicu až ta, kde sa vchádza do Hamatu, a hranica sa bude končiť pri Cedáde.

⁸from mount Hor ye shall mark out the entrance to Hamath, and the end of the border shall be toward Zedad;

⁹A odtiaľ vyjde hranica do Zifróna a bude sa končiť pri Chacarenáne. To vám bude severnou hranicou.

⁹and the border shall go to Ziphron, and shall end at Hazar-enan. This shall be your north border.

¹⁰A konečne si vyznačíte za hranicu na východ: od Chacarenána do Šefáma.

¹⁰And ye shall mark out for you as eastern border from Hazar-enan to Shepham:

¹¹A zo Šefáma pojde hranica dolu do Ribly od východu Ajina. Potom pojde hranica dolu a bude sahať až ku strane mora Kineret, na východ.

¹¹and the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall strike upon the extremity of the sea of Chinnereth eastward;

¹²A hranica pojde dolu k Jordánu a bude sa končiť pri Slanom mori. To vám bude tá zem podľa svojich hraníc dookola.

¹²and the border shall go down to the Jordan, and shall end at the salt sea. This shall be your land according to the borders thereof round about.

¹³A Mojžiš prikázal synom Izraelovým a riekol: Toto je tá zem, ktorú dostanete do dedičstva losom, ktorú prikázal Hospodin dať deviatim pokoleniam a polovici pokolenia Manassesovho.

¹³And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall take for yourselves as inheritance by lot, which Jehovah commanded to give to the nine tribes, and to the half tribe.

¹⁴For the tribe of the children of the Reubenites according to their fathers' houses, and the tribe of the children of the Gadites according to their fathers' houses, have received, and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance;

¹⁵Dve pokolenia a polovica pokolenia vzali svoje dedičstvo za Jordánom naproti Jerichu, na východ, na východ slnka.

¹⁵the two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side the Jordan of Jericho eastward, toward the sun-rising.

¹⁷These are the names of the men who shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.

¹⁸A priberiete po jednom kniežati z každého pokolenia, aby spolu s vami rozdelili zem do dedičstva.

¹⁸And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land.

¹⁹A toto sú mená tých mužov: za pokolenie Júdovo Kálef, syn Jefunneho;

¹⁹And these are the names of the men: for the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh;

²⁰za pokolenie synov Simeonových Šemuel, syn Ammihúdov;

²⁰and for the tribe of the children of Simeon, Samuel the son of Ammihud;

²¹za pokolenie Benjaminovi Elidád, syn Kislonov;

²¹for the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon;

²²za pokolenie synov Dánových knieža, Bukki, syn Jogliho;

²²and for the tribe of the children of Dan, a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli;

²³za synov Jozefových: za pokolenie synov Manassesových knieža, Channiel, syn Efodov;

²³for the children of Joseph: for the tribe of the children of Manasseh, a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod,

²⁴za pokolenie synov Efraimových knieža, Kemuel, syn Šiftánov;

²⁴and for the tribe of the children of Ephraim, a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan;

²⁵za pokolenie synov Zabulonových knieža, Elicáfan, syn Parnáchov;

²⁵and for the tribe of the children of Zebulun, a prince, Elizaphan the son of Pharnach;

²⁶za pokolenie synov Izachárových knieža, Paltiel, syn Azzánov;

²⁶and for the tribe of the children of Issachar, a prince, Phaltiel the son of Azzan;

²⁷za pokolenie synov Aserových knieža, Achihúd, syn Šelomiho,

²⁷and for the tribe of the children of Asher, a prince, Ahihud the son of Shelomi;

²⁸a za pokolenie synov Naftaliho knieža, Pedahel, syn Ammihúdov.

²⁸and for the tribe of the children of Naphtali, a prince, Phedahel the son of Ammihud.

²⁹To sú tí, ktorým prikázal Hospodin, aby rozdelili synom Izraelovým dedičstvo v Kananejskej zemi.

²⁹These are they whom Jehovah commanded to distribute to the children of Israel their inheritance in the land of Canaan.
