1Mwari ngaasimuke, vavengi vake ngavaparadzirwe; vanomuvenga ngavatize pamberi pake.
1{To the chief Musician. Of David. A Psalm: a Song.} Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered, and let them that hate him flee before him.
2Muvadzinge, sokudzingwa koutsi; Sokunyauka kwenamo pamoto, Saizvozvo vakaipa ngavapere pamberi paMwari.
2As smoke is driven, thou wilt drive them away; as wax melteth before the fire, the wicked shall perish at the presence of God.
3Asi vakarurama ngavafare; ngavafare kwazvo pamberi paMwari; Ngavafare nokufara kukuru.
3But the righteous shall rejoice: they shall exult before God and be glad with joy.
4Imbirai Mwari, imbirai zita rake nziyo dzokurumbidza; Mumusimudzire, iye unotasva achipfuura nemurenje; Zita rake ndiJehovha; farai kwazvo pamberi pake.
4Sing unto God, sing forth his name; cast up a way for him that rideth in the deserts: his name is Jah; and rejoice before him.
5Baba venherera, nomutongi wemhosva dzechirikadzi, Ndiye Mwari paugaro hwake hutsvene.
5A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
6Vakanga vari voga, Mwari anovagarisa pamhuri; Anobudisira vasungwa kumufaro; Asi vanomumukira vanogara panyika yakaoma.
6God maketh the solitary into families; those that were bound he bringeth out into prosperity: but the rebellious dwell in a parched [land].
7Mwari, panguva yamakatungamirira vanhu venyu, Panguva yokufamba kwenyu murenje;
7O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness -- (Selah) --
8Pasi pakabvunda, Kudenga-denga kwakadonha pamberi paMwari; Nairo Sinai rakabvunda pamberi paMwari, iye Mwari waIsiraeri.
8The earth trembled, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God, yon Sinai, at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9imwi Mwari makanisa mvura zhinji, Makasimbisa nhaka yenyu panguva yokuneta kwayo.
9Thou, O God, didst pour a plentiful rain upon thine inheritance, and when it was weary thou strengthenedst it.
10Ungano yenyu yakagaramo; imwi Mwari makagadzirira varombo zvakanaka zvenyu.
10Thy flock hath dwelt therein: thou hast prepared in thy goodness, for the afflicted, O God!
11Ishe akataura shoko, Vakadzi vakaparidza shoko vaiva
11The Lord gives the word: great the host of the publishers.
12Madzimambo ehondo anotiza, Mukadzi akasara kumusha ndiye anogovera zvakapambwa.
12Kings of armies flee; they flee, and she that tarrieth at home divideth the spoil.
13Kana imwi movata pasi pakati pezvirugu zvamakwai, Zvakafanana namapapiro enjiva akafukidzwa nesirivha, Neminhenga yakafukidzwa nendarama tsvuku.
13Though ye have lain among the sheepfolds, [ye shall be as] wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with green gold.
14Panguva iyo waMasimbaose yaakaparadza madzimambomo, Zvakafanana nokuwa kwechando paZarimoni.
14When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it became snow-white as Zalmon.
15Gomo reBhashani igomo raMwari; Gomo reBhashani igomo refu-refu.
15[As] mount Bashan is the mount of God, a many-peaked mountain, [as] mount Bashan.
16imwi makomo marefu, munogodorerei Iro gomo rakadikamwa naMwari kuti agare mariri? Jehovha achagara mariri nokusingaperi.
16Why do ye look with envy, ye many-peaked mountains, upon the mount that God hath desired for his abode? yea, Jehovah will dwell [there] for ever.
17Ngoro dzaMwari dzinosvika zviuru zvina makumi maviri, zviuru zvezviuru zvamazana; Ishe ari pakati padzo, sezvaakaita paSinai, panzvimbo tsvene.
17The chariots of God are twenty thousand, thousands upon thousands; the Lord is among them: it is a Sinai in holiness.
18Makakwira kumusoro, mukatapa vatapwa venyu; Makagamuchira zvipo pakati pavanhu Zvirokwazvo pakati pavakakumukiraiwo, kuti Jehovha Mwari agare navo.
18Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts in Man, and even [for] the rebellious, for the dwelling [there] of Jah Elohim.
19Ishe ngaavongwe, iye anotakura mitoro yedu zuva rimwe nerimwe, Iye Mwari muponesi wedu.
19Blessed be the Lord: day by day doth he load us [with good], the ùGod who is our salvation. Selah.
20Mwari ndiye Mwari anotirwira; Jehovha Ishe ndiye ane nzira dzokubuda murufu.
20Our ùGod is the ùGod of salvation; and with Jehovah, the Lord, are the goings forth [even] from death.
21Asi Mwari achatema misoro yavavengi vake, Paganda romusoro rine vhudzi romunhu anorambira pakutadza kwake.
21Verily God will smite the head of his enemies, the hairy scalp of him that goeth on still in his trespasses.
22Ishe akati, Ndichavadzosa paBhashani, Ndichavadzosazve pagungwa rakadzika;
22The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring [them] again from the depth of the sea;
23Kuti unyike rutsoka rwako muropa, Kuti ndimi dzembwa dzako dzive nomugove wadzo pavavengi vako.
23That thou mayest dip thy foot in blood: the tongue of thy dogs has its portion from enemies.
24Vakaona mafambiro enyu, Mwari, Mafambiro aMwari wangu, Mambo wangu, achipinda panzvimbo tsvene.
24They have seen thy goings, O God, the goings of my ùGod, my King, in the sanctuary.
25Vaimbi vakatungamira, varidzi vemitengeramwa vakatevera, Pakati pavasikana vakanga vachiridza makandira.
25The singers went before, the players on stringed instruments after, in the midst of maidens playing on tabrets.
26Rumbidzai Mwari paungano, Iye Ishe, iyemi vetsime raIsiraeri.
26In the congregations bless ye God, the Lord, -- [ye] from the fountain of Israel.
27Bhenjamini muduku, mubati wavo, aripo, Namachinda aJudha navazhinji vavo, Namachinda aZebhuruni, namachinda aNafutari.
27There is little Benjamin, their ruler; the princes of Judah, their company; the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
28Mwari wako akaraira simba rake; Simbisai, Mwari, izvo zvamakatiitira.
28Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.
29Nokuda kwetemberi yenyu paJerusaremu Madzimambo achakuvigirai zvipo.
29Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.
30Tukai chikara chetsanga, Hando zhinji, nemhuru dzendudzi dzavanhu, Vazviwisire pasi petsoka nemari yesirivha; Muparadzire vanhu vanofarira kurwa.
30Rebuke the beast of the reeds, the assembly of the strong, with the calves of the peoples: [every one] submitteth himself with pieces of silver. Scatter the peoples that delight in war.
31Machinda achabuda Egipita; Itiopia ichakurumidza kutambanudza maoko ayo kuna Mwari.
31Great ones shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall quickly stretch out her hands unto God.
32Imbirai Mwari, imwi ushe hwapasi; Imbirai Ishe nziyo dzokurumbidza.
32Ye kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God; sing psalms of the Lord, (Selah,)
33Iye anotasva padenga rokudenga-denga, iro rakare nakare; Inzwai, anobudisa inzwi rake, inzwi rine simba.
33Of him that rideth upon the heavens, the heavens which are of old: lo, he uttereth his voice, a mighty voice.
34Ipai Mwari simba; Ukuru hwake huri pamusoro paIsiraeri, Simba rake riri mumakore.
34Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.
35imwi Mwari munotyisa panzvimbo dzenyu tsvene; Mwari waIsiraeri ndiye anopa vanhu vake simba noushe. Mwari ngaavongwe.
35Terrible art thou, O God, out of thy sanctuaries, -- the ùGod of Israel! He it is that giveth strength and might unto the people. Blessed be God!
