1Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold which they refine;
2Birta waxaa laga soo bixiyaa ciidda, Oo naxaastana waxaa laga dhalaaliyaa dhagaxa.
2Iron is taken out of the dust, and copper is molten out of the stone.
3Dadku gudcurkuu dhammeeyaa, Oo tan iyo soohdinta ugu shishaysana waxay baadhaan Dhagaxyada ku jira gudcurka qarada leh iyo hooska dhimashada.
3[Man] putteth an end to the darkness, and exploreth to the utmost limit, the stones of darkness and of the shadow of death.
4Isagu god dheer ayuu ka qodaa meel ka fog meesha dadku deggan yahay. Iyaga waxaa illooba qofka ag mara; Oo waxay ka laallaadaan meel dadka ka fog, oo hor iyo dib bay u ruxmadaan.
4He openeth a shaft far from the inhabitants [of the earth]: forgotten of the foot, they hang suspended; away below men they hover.
5Cuntadu dhulkay ka soo baxdaa, Oo dhankiisa hoosena wuu rogmadaa sida wax dabku rogo oo kale.
5As for the earth, out of it cometh bread, and underneath it is turned up as by fire;
6Dhagaxyadiisu waa meeshii dhagaxyo safayr ah, Wuxuuna leeyahay dahab boodh ah.
6The stones of it are the place of sapphires, and it hath dust of gold.
7Wadiiqadaas haadka adagu ma yaqaan, Oo gorgorka ishiisuna ma ay arag,
7It is a path no bird of prey knoweth, and the vulture's eye hath not seen it;
8Bahallada kibirka lahu kuma ay joogsan, Oo libaaxa cadhaysanina ma uu ag marin.
8The proud beasts have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed over it.
9Isagu gacantiisuu soo fidiyaa oo wuxuu saaraa dhagaxa adag, Oo buurahana wuu afgembiyaa oo xididdaduu ku rujiyaa.
9[Man] putteth forth his hand upon the flinty rock, he overturneth the mountains by the root.
10Dhagaxyada dhexdooda wuxuu ka jeexaa keliyo, Oo ishiisuna wax kasta oo qaali ah way aragtaa.
10He cutteth out channels in the rocks, and his eye seeth every precious thing.
11Wuxuu xidhaa durdurrada si ayan u dareerin, Oo waxa qarsoonna wuxuu u soo bannaan bixiyaa iftiinka.
11He bindeth the streams that they drip not, and what is hidden he bringeth forth to light.
12Laakiinse waa xaggee meesha xigmadda laga helaa? Oo waxgarashada meesheeduse waa xaggee?
12But wisdom, where shall it be found? and where is the place of understanding?
13Dadku qiimaheeda ma yaqaan, Oo kuwa nool dalkoodana lagama helo.
13Man knoweth not the value thereof; and it is not found in the land of the living.
14Moolku wuxuu leeyahay, Iguma jirto, Badduna waxay leedahay, Aniga ilama jirto.
14The deep saith, It is not in me; and the sea saith, It is not with me.
15Dahab laguma heli karo, Lacagna looma miisaamo.
15Choice gold cannot be given for it, nor silver be weighed for its price.
16Laguma qiimayn karo dahabka Oofir, Ama dhagaxa qaaliga ah oo onika la yidhaahdo ama xataa dhagaxa safayr la yidhaahdo.
16It is not set in the balance with gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, and the sapphire.
17Dahab iyo madarad toona uma qalmi karaan, Oo beddelkeeduna ma noqon karo jawhar laga sameeyo dahab saafi ah.
17Gold and glass cannot be compared to it, nor vessels of fine gold be its exchange.
18Waxba lagama sheegi doono dhagax cas oo raamood la yidhaahdo, amase madarad, Hubaal xigmadda qiimaheedu waa ka sii sarreeyaa luul.
18Corals and crystal are no more remembered; yea, the acquisition of wisdom is above rubies.
19Dhagaxa tobasiyos la yidhaahdo ee Itoobiya ka yimaadana uma qalmi doono, Oo xataa dahab saafi ahna laguma qiimayn doono.
19The topaz of Ethiopia shall not be compared to it, neither shall it be set in the balance with pure gold.
20Haddaba xigmaddu xaggee bay ka timaadaa? Oo waxgarashada meesheeduse waa xaggee?
20Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?
21Maxaa yeelay, way ka qarsoon tahay kuwa nool indhahooda, Oo haadka hawadana waa laga deday.
21For it is hidden from the eyes of all living, and concealed from the fowl of the heavens.
22Halligaadda iyo Dhimashadu waxay leeyihiin, Dhegahayaga ayaannu warkeeda ku maqalnay.
22Destruction and death say, We have heard its report with our ears.
23Ilaah ayaa jidkeeda garanaya, Oo isagaa meesheeda yaqaan.
23God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth its place:
24Waayo, isagu wuxuu fiiriyaa dunida darfaheeda, Oo wuxuu u jeedaa inta samada ka hoosaysa oo dhan,
24For he looketh to the ends of the earth, he seeth under the whole heaven.
25Markuu dabaysha miisaamo, Oo uu biyahana qiyaaso.
25In making a weight for the wind, and meting out the waters by measure,
26Markuu roobka qaynuun u sameeyey, Oo uu hillaaca onkodkana jid u sameeyey,
26In appointing a statute for the rain, and a way for the thunder's flash:
27Ayuu arkay, oo ka hadlay, Oo intuu adkeeyey ayuu weliba baadhay.Oo wuxuu dadka ku yidhi, Bal eega, Sayidka ka cabsashadiisa ayaa xigmad ah, Oo in sharka laga fogaadona waa waxgarasho.
27Then did he see it, and declare it; he established it, yea, and searched it out;
28Oo wuxuu dadka ku yidhi, Bal eega, Sayidka ka cabsashadiisa ayaa xigmad ah, Oo in sharka laga fogaadona waa waxgarasho.
28And unto man he said, Lo, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
