1Али вам напомињем, браћо, јеванђеље, које вам објавих, које и примисте, у коме и стојите.
1Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2Којим се и спасавате, ако држите како вам објавих; већ ако да узалуд веровасте.
2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3Јер вам најпре предадох шта и примих да Христос умре за грехе наше, по писму,
3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4И да би укопан, и да уста трећи дан, по писму,
4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
5И да се јави Кифи, потом једанаесторици апостола;
5And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
6А потом Га видеше једном више од пет стотина браће, од којих многи живе и сад, а неки и помреше;
6After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
7А потом се јави Јакову, па онда свима апостолима;
7After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
8А после свих јави се и мени као каквом недоношчету.
8And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
9Јер ја сам најмлађи међу апостолима, који нисам достојан назвати се апостол, јер гоних цркву Божију.
9For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
10Али по благодати Божијој јесам шта јесам, и благодат Његова што је у мени не оста празна, него се потрудих више од свих њих, али не ја него благодат Божија која је са мном.
10But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
11Био дакле ја или они, тако проповедамо, и тако веровасте.
11Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.
12А ако се Христос проповеда да устаде из мртвих, како говоре неки међу вама да нема васкрсења мртвих?
12Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13И ако нема васкрсења мртвих, то ни Христос не уста.
13But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14А ако Христос не уста, узалуд дакле проповедање наше, а узалуд и вера ваша.
14And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15А налазимо се и лажни сведоци Божији што сведочимо на Бога да васкрсе Христа, ког не васкрсе кад мртви не устају.
15Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
16Јер ако мртви не устају, ни Христос не уста.
16For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17А ако Христос не уста, узалуд вера ваша; још сте у гресима својим.
17And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
18Дакле, и они који помреше у Христу, изгибоше.
18Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19И ако се само у овом животу уздамо у Христа, најнесрећнији смо од свих људи.
19If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
20Али Христос уста из мртвих, и би новина онима који умреше.
20But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
21Јер будући да кроз човека би смрт, кроз човека и васкрсење мртвих.
21For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22Јер како по Адаму сви умиру, тако ће и по Христу сви оживети.
22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23Али сваки у свом реду: новина Христос; а потом они који вероваше Христу о Његовом доласку;
23But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24Онда крај, кад преда царство Богу и Оцу, и кад укине свако поглаварство и сваку власт и силу.
24Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25Јер Њему ваља царовати докле не положи све непријатеље своје под ноге своје.
25For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26А последњи ће се непријатељ укинути, смрт.
26The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27Јер све покори под ноге Његове. Али кад вели да је све Њему покорено, показује се да је осим Оног који Му покори све.
27For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28А кад Му све покори, онда ће се и сам Син покорити Оном који Му све покори, да буде Бог све у свему.
28And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
29Шта, дакле, чине они који се крсте мртвих ради? Кад мртви јамачно не устају, што се и крштавају мртвих ради?
29Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
30И ми, зашто подносимо муке и невоље сваки час?
30And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
31Сваки дан умирем, тако ми, браћо, ваше славе, коју имам у Христу Исусу Господу нашем.
31I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
32Јер ако сам се по човеку борио са зверовима у Ефесу, каква ми је корист ако мртви не устају? Да једемо и пијемо, јер ћемо сутра умрети.
32If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.
33Не варајте се: зли разговори кваре добре обичаје.
33Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
34Отрезните се једанпут као што треба, и не грешите; јер неки не знају за Бога, на срамоту вама кажем.
34Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
35Али ће вам рећи ко: Како ће устати мртви? И у каквом ће телу доћи?
35But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36Безумниче! То што сејеш неће оживети ако не умре.
36Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
37И што сејеш не сејеш тело које ће бити, него голо зрно, било пшенично или друго како.
37And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38А Бог му даје тело како хоће, и сваком семену своје тело.
38But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39Није свако тело једно тело, него је друго тело човечије, а друго скотско, а друго рибље, а друго птичије.
39All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40И имају телеса небеска и телеса земаљска: али је друга слава небеским, а друга земаљским.
40There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41Друга је слава сунцу, а друга слава месецу, и друга слава звездама; јер се звезда од звезде разликује у слави.
41There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42Тако и васкрсење мртвих: сеје се за распадљивост, а устаје за нераспадљивост;
42So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43Сеје се у срамоти, а устаје у слави; сеје се у слабости, а устаје у сили;
43It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44Сеје се тело телесно, а устаје тело духовно. Има тело телесно, и има тело духовно.
44It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45Тако је и писано: Први човек Адам постаде у телесном животу, а последњи Адам у духу који оживљује.
45And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46Али духовно тело није прво, него телесно, па онда духовно.
46Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47Први је човек од земље, земљан; други је човек Господ с неба.
47The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48Какав је земљани такви су и земљани; и какав је небески такви су и небески.
48As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49И како носимо обличје земљаног тако ћемо носити и обличје небеског.
49And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50А ово говорим, браћо, да тело и крв не могу наследити царство Божије, нити распадљивост нераспадљивости наслеђује.
50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51Ево вам казујем тајну: јер сви нећемо помрети, а сви ћемо се претворити.
51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52Уједанпут, у тренућу ока у последњој труби; јер ће затрубити и мртви ће устати нераспадљиви, и ми ћемо се претворити.
52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53Јер ово распадљиво треба да се обуче у нераспадљивост, и ово смртно да се обуче у бесмртност.
53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54А кад се ово распадљиво обуче у нераспадљивост и ово се смртно обуче у бесмртност, онда ће се збити она реч што је написана: Победа прождре смрт.
54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55Где ти је, смрти, жалац? Где ти је, пакле, победа?
55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56А жалац је смрти грех, а сила је греха закон.
56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57А Богу хвала који нам даде победу кроз Господа нашег Исуса Христа.
57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58Зато, браћо моја љубазна, будите тврди, не дајте се помакнути, и напредујте једнако у делу Господњем знајући да труд ваш није узалуд пред Господом.
58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
