¹И потом хођаше Исус по Галилеји; јер по Јудеји не хтеде да ходи, јер гледаху Јевреји да Га убију.

¹After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.

²Беше пак близу празник јеврејски, грађење сеница.

²Now the Jew's feast of tabernacles was at hand.

³Тада Му рекоше браћа Његова: Изиђи одавде и иди у Јудеју, да и ученици Твоји виде дела која чиниш;

³His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.

⁴Јер нико не чини шта тајно, а сам тражи да је познат. Ако то чиниш јави себе свету.

⁴For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.

⁵Јер ни браћа Његова не вероваху Га.

⁵For neither did his brethren believe in him.

⁶Тада им рече Исус: Време моје још није дошло, а време је ваше свагда готово.

⁶Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready.

⁷Не може свет мрзети на вас: а на мене мрзи, јер ја сведочим за њ да су дела његова зла.

⁷The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.

⁸Ви изиђите на празник овај: ја још нећу изићи на празник овај, јер се моје време још није навршило.

⁸Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet full come.

⁹Рекавши им ово оста у Галилеји.

⁹When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee.

¹⁰А кад изиђоше браћа Његова на празник, тада и сам изиђе, не јавно него као тајно.

¹⁰But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.

¹¹А Јевреји Га тражаху на празник и говораху: Где је он?

¹¹Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?

¹²И беху за Њ многе распре у народу: једни говораху да је добар, а други: Није, него вара народ.

¹²And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.

¹³Али нико не говораше јавно за Њ од страха јеврејског.

¹³Howbeit no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews.

¹⁴Али одмах у половини празника изиђе Исус у цркву и учаше.

¹⁴Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.

¹⁵И дивљаху се Јевреји говорећи: Како овај зна књиге, а није се учио?

¹⁵And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?

¹⁶Тада им одговори Исус и рече: Моја наука није моја, него Оног који ме је послао.

¹⁶Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

¹⁷Ко хоће Његову вољу творити, разумеће је ли ова наука од Бога или ја сам од себе говорим.

¹⁷If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

¹⁸Који говори сам од себе, славу своју тражи; а ко тражи славу оног који га је послао, он је истинит и у њему нема неправде.

¹⁸He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

¹⁹Не даде ли Мојсије вама закон и нико од вас не живи по закону? Зашто тражите да ме убијете?

¹⁹Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?

²⁰Одговори народ и рече: Је ли ђаво у теби? Ко тражи да те убије?

²⁰The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?

²¹Одговори Исус и рече им: Једно дело учиних и сви се дивите томе.

²¹Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.

²²Мојсије вам даде да се обрезујете (не као да је од Мојсија него од отаца); и у суботу обрезујете човека.

²²Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.

²³Ако се човек у суботу обрезује да се не поквари закон Мојсијев, срдите ли се на мене што свега човека исцелих у суботу?

²³If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?

²⁴Не гледајте ко је ко кад судите, него праведан суд судите.

²⁴Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

²⁵Тада говораху неки од Јерусалимљана: Није ли то онај ког траже да убију?

²⁵Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?

²⁶И гле, како говори слободно и ништа му не веле: Да не дознаше наши кнезови да је он заиста Христос?

²⁶But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?

²⁷Али овог знамо откуда је; а Христос кад дође, нико неће знати откуда је.

²⁷Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.

²⁸Тада Исус повика у цркви учећи и рече: и мене познајете и знате откуда сам; и сам од себе не дођох, него има Истинити који ме посла, ког ви не знате.

²⁸Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.

²⁹Ја Га знам, јер сам од Њега и Он ме посла.

²⁹But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.

³⁰Тада гледаху да Га ухвате; и нико не метну на Њ руке, јер још не беше дошао час Његов.

³⁰Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.

³¹А од народа многи Га вероваше, и говораху: Кад дође Христос еда ли ће више чудеса чинити него Овај што чини?

³¹And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done?

³²Чуше фарисеји од народа такав говор за Њега, и послаше фарисеји и главари свештенички слуге да Га ухвате.

³²The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him.

³³Тада рече Исус: Још сам мало времена с вама, па идем к Ономе који ме посла.

³³Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.

³⁴Тражићете ме и нећете ме наћи; и где сам ја ви не можете доћи.

³⁴Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come.

³⁵А Јевреји рекоше међу собом: Куда ће овај ићи да га ми не нађемо? Неће ли ићи међу растркане Грке, и Грке учити?

³⁵Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?

³⁶Шта значи ова реч што рече: Тражићете ме и нећете ме наћи; и где сам ја ви не можете доћи?

³⁶What manner of saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come?

³⁷А у последњи велики дан празника стајаше Исус и викаше говорећи: Ко је жедан нека дође к мени и пије.

³⁷In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

³⁸Који ме верује, као што писмо рече, из његова тела потећи ће реке живе воде.

³⁸He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

³⁹А ово рече за Духа ког после примише они који верују у име Његово: јер Дух Свети још не беше на њима, јер Исус још не беше прослављен.

³⁹(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

⁴⁰А многи од народа чувши ове речи говораху: Ово је заиста пророк.

⁴⁰Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.

⁴¹Други говораху: Ово је Христос. А једни говораху: Зар ће Христос из Галилеје доћи?

⁴¹Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?

⁴²Не каза ли писмо да ће Христос доћи од семена Давидовог, и из села Витлејема одакле беше Давид?

⁴²Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?

⁴³Тако распра постаде у народу Њега ради.

⁴³So there was a division among the people because of him.

⁴⁴А неки од њих хтеше да Га ухвате; али нико не метну руку на Њ.

⁴⁴And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.

⁴⁵Дођоше пак слуге ка главарима свештеничким и фарисејима; и они им рекоше: Зашто га не доведосте?

⁴⁵Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him?

⁴⁶А слуге одговорише: Никад човек није тако говорио као овај човек.

⁴⁶The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.

⁴⁷Тада им одговорише фарисеји: Зар се и ви преваристе?

⁴⁷Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived?

⁴⁸Верова ли га ко од кнезова или од фарисеја?

⁴⁸Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him?

⁴⁹Него народ овај, који не зна закон, проклет је.

⁴⁹But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed.

⁵⁰Рече им Никодим што долази к Њему ноћу, који беше један од њих:

⁵⁰Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,)

⁵¹Еда ли закон наш суди човеку докле га најпре не саслуша и дозна шта чини?

⁵¹Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth?

⁵²Одговорише му и рекоше: Ниси ли и ти из Галилеје? Разгледај и види да пророк из Галилеје не долази.

⁵²They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.

⁵³И отидоше сваки својој кући.

⁵³And every man went unto his own house.
