¹พี่น้องทั้งหลาย บัดนี้ข้าพเจ้าอยากให้ท่านเข้าใจเรื่องของประทานฝ่ายจิตวิญญาณนั้น

¹Now concerning spiritual things, brothers, I don’t want you to be ignorant.

²ท่านรู้แล้วว่า แต่ก่อนท่านยังเป็นคนไม่เชื่อนั้น ท่านถูกชักนำให้หลงไปนับถือรูปเคารพซึ่งพูดไม่ได้ตามแต่ท่านจะถูกนำไป

²You know that when you were heathen or Gentiles , you were led away to those mute idols, however you might be led.

³เหตุฉะนั้นข้าพเจ้าจึงบอกท่านทั้งหลายให้ทราบว่า ไม่มีผู้ใดซึ่งพูดโดยพระวิญญาณของพระเจ้าจะเรียกพระเยซูว่า ผู้ที่ถูกสาปแช่ง และไม่มีผู้ใดอาจพูดว่าพระเยซูเป็นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า นอกจากผู้ที่พูดโดยพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์

³Therefore I make known to you that no man speaking by God’s Spirit says, “Jesus is accursed.” No one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” but by the Holy Spirit.

⁴แล้วของประทานนั้นมีต่างๆกัน แต่มีพระวิญญาณองค์เดียวกัน

⁴Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.

⁵งานรับใช้มีต่างๆกัน แต่มีองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าองค์เดียวกัน

⁵There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord.

⁶กิจกรรมมีต่างๆกัน แต่มีพระเจ้าองค์เดียวกันที่ทรงกระทำสารพัดในทุกคน

⁶There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all.

⁷การสำแดงของพระวิญญาณนั้นมีแก่ทุกคนเพื่อประโยชน์ร่วมกัน

⁷But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all.

⁸ด้วยพระวิญญาณทรงโปรดประทานให้คนหนึ่งมีถ้อยคำประกอบด้วยสติปัญญา และให้อีกคนหนึ่งมีถ้อยคำอันประกอบด้วยความรู้ แต่เป็นโดยพระวิญญาณองค์เดียวกัน

⁸For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;

⁹และให้อีกคนหนึ่งมีความเชื่อ แต่เป็นโดยพระวิญญาณองค์เดียวกัน และให้อีกคนหนึ่งมีความสามารถรักษาคนป่วยได้ แต่เป็นโดยพระวิญญาณองค์เดียวกัน

⁹to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the same Spirit;

¹⁰และให้อีกคนหนึ่งทำการอัศจรรย์ต่างๆ และให้อีกคนหนึ่งพยากรณ์ได้ และให้อีกคนหนึ่งรู้จักสังเกตวิญญาณต่างๆ และให้อีกคนหนึ่งพูดภาษาแปลกๆ และให้อีกคนหนึ่งแปลภาษานั้นๆได้

¹⁰and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages.

¹¹สิ่งสารพัดเหล่านี้ พระวิญญาณองค์เดียวกันทรงบันดาลและประทานแก่แต่ละคนตามชอบพระทัยพระองค์

¹¹But the one and the same Spirit works all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.

¹²ถึงกายนั้นเป็นกายเดียว ก็ยังมีอวัยวะหลายส่วน และบรรดาอวัยวะต่างๆของกายเดียวนั้นแม้จะมีหลายส่วนก็ยังเป็นกายเดียวกันฉันใด พระคริสต์ก็ทรงเป็นฉันนั้น

¹²For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.

¹³เพราะว่าถึงเราจะเป็นพวกยิวหรือพวกต่างชาติ เป็นทาสหรือมิใช่ทาสก็ตาม เราทั้งหลายได้รับบัพติศมาโดยพระวิญญาณองค์เดียวเข้าเป็นกายอันเดียวกัน และพระวิญญาณองค์เดียวกันนั้นซาบซ่านอยู่

¹³For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.

¹⁴เพราะว่าร่างกายมิได้ประกอบด้วยอวัยวะเดียวแต่ด้วยหลายอวัยวะ

¹⁴For the body is not one member, but many.

¹⁵ถ้าเท้าจะพูดว่า "เพราะข้าพเจ้ามิได้เป็นมือ ข้าพเจ้าจึงไม่ได้เป็นอวัยวะของร่างกายนั้น" เท้าจะไม่เป็นอวัยวะของร่างกายเพราะเหตุนั้นหรือ

¹⁵If the foot would say, “Because I’m not the hand, I’m not part of the body,” it is not therefore not part of the body.

¹⁶และถ้าหูจะพูดว่า "เพราะข้าพเจ้ามิได้เป็นตา ข้าพเจ้าจึงมิได้เป็นอวัยวะของร่างกายนั้น" หูจะไม่เป็นอวัยวะของร่างกายเพราะเหตุนั้นหรือ

¹⁶If the ear would say, “Because I’m not the eye, I’m not part of the body,” it’s not therefore not part of the body.

¹⁷ถ้าอวัยวะทั้งหมดในร่างกายเป็นตา การได้ยินจะอยู่ที่ไหน ถ้าทั้งร่างกายเป็นหู การดมกลิ่นจะอยู่ที่ไหน

¹⁷If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the smelling be?

¹⁸แต่บัดนี้พระเจ้าได้ทรงตั้งอวัยวะทุกส่วนไว้ในร่างกายตามชอบพระทัยของพระองค์

¹⁸But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body, just as he desired.

¹⁹ถ้าอวัยวะทั้งหมดเป็นอวัยวะเดียว ร่างกายจะมีที่ไหน

¹⁹If they were all one member, where would the body be?

²⁰แต่บัดนี้มีหลายอวัยวะแต่ก็ยังเป็นร่างกายเดียวกัน

²⁰But now they are many members, but one body.

²¹และตาจะว่าแก่มือว่า "ข้าพเจ้าไม่ต้องการเจ้า" ก็ไม่ได้ หรือศีรษะจะว่าแก่เท้าว่า "ข้าพเจ้าไม่ต้องการเจ้า" ก็ไม่ได้

²¹The eye can’t tell the hand, “I have no need for you,” or again the head to the feet, “I have no need for you.”

²²แต่ยิ่งกว่านี้อวัยวะของร่างกายที่เราเห็นว่าอ่อนแอ เราก็ขาดเสียไม่ได้

²²No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.

²³และอวัยวะของร่างกายที่เราถือว่ามีเกียรติน้อย เราก็ยังทำให้มีเกียรติยิ่งขึ้น และอวัยวะที่ไม่น่าดูนั้น เราก็ทำให้น่าดูยิ่งขึ้น

²³Those parts of the body which we think to be less honorable, on those we bestow more abundant honor; and our unpresentable parts have more abundant propriety;

²⁴เพราะว่าอวัยวะที่น่าดูแล้ว ก็ไม่จำเป็นที่จะต้องตกแต่งอีก แต่พระเจ้าได้ทรงให้อวัยวะของร่างกายเสมอภาคกัน ทรงให้อวัยวะที่ต่ำต้อยเป็นที่นับถือมากขึ้น

²⁴whereas our presentable parts have no such need. But God composed the body together, giving more abundant honor to the inferior part,

²⁵เพื่อไม่ให้มีการแก่งแย่งกันในร่างกาย แต่ให้อวัยวะทุกส่วนมีความห่วงใยซึ่งกันและกัน

²⁵that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.

²⁶ถ้าอวัยวะอันหนึ่งเจ็บ อวัยวะทั้งหมดก็พลอยเจ็บด้วย ถ้าอวัยวะอันหนึ่งได้รับเกียรติ อวัยวะทั้งหมดก็พลอยชื่นชมยินดีด้วย

²⁶When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. Or when one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

²⁷บัดนี้ฝ่ายท่านทั้งหลายเป็นกายของพระคริสต์ และต่างก็เป็นอวัยวะของพระกายนั้น

²⁷Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.

²⁸และพระเจ้าได้ทรงโปรดตั้งบางคนไว้ในคริสตจักร คือหนึ่งอัครสาวก สองผู้พยากรณ์ สามครูบาอาจารย์ แล้วต่อจากนั้นก็มีการอัศจรรย์ ของประทานในการรักษาโรค การช่วยเหลือ การครอบครอง การพูดภาษาต่างๆ

²⁸God has set some in the assembly: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracle workers, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and various kinds of languages.

²⁹ทุกคนเป็นอัครสาวกหรือ ทุกคนเป็นผู้พยากรณ์หรือ ทุกคนเป็นครูบาอาจารย์หรือ ทุกคนกระทำการอัศจรรย์หรือ

²⁹Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers?

³⁰ทุกคนได้รับของประทานให้รักษาโรคหรือ ทุกคนพูดภาษาแปลกๆหรือ ทุกคนแปลได้หรือ

³⁰Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with various languages? Do all interpret?

³¹แต่ท่านทั้งหลายจงกระตือรือร้นอย่างจริงจังบรรดาของประทานอันดีที่สุดนั้น และข้าพเจ้ายังคงแสดงทางที่ยอดเยี่ยมกว่าแก่ท่านทั้งหลาย

³¹But earnestly desire the best gifts. Moreover, I show a most excellent way to you.
