¹Now when all this was finished, all Israel who were present went out to the cities of Judah, and broke in pieces the pillars, and cut down the Asherim, and broke down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.

²เฮเซคียาห์ได้ทรงจัดการแบ่งบรรดาปุโรหิตและคนเลวีเป็นกองๆ แต่ละกองตามหน้าที่ปรนนิบัติของตน คือบรรดาปุโรหิตและคนเลวี ให้เป็นพนักงานฝ่ายเครื่องเผาบูชาและเครื่องสันติบูชาให้ปรนนิบัติ และให้ถวายโมทนาและสรรเสริญภายในประตูค่ายของพระเยโฮวาห์

²Hezekiah appointed the divisions of the priests and the Levites after their divisions, every man according to his service, both the priests and the Levites, for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the camp of Yahweh.

³ส่วนที่กษัตริย์ทรงบริจาคจากทรัพย์สินส่วนพระองค์นั้น เป็นเครื่องเผาบูชาคือเครื่องเผาบูชาสำหรับเช้าและสำหรับเย็น และเครื่องเผาบูชาสำหรับวันสะบาโต วันขึ้นหนึ่งค่ำและเทศกาลตามกำหนด ดังที่บันทึกไว้ในพระราชบัญญัติของพระเยโฮวาห์

³He appointed also the king’s portion of his substance for the burnt offerings, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the Sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as it is written in the law of Yahweh.

⁴และพระองค์ทรงบัญชาประชาชนผู้อยู่ในเยรูซาเล็มให้บริจาคส่วนที่เป็นของปุโรหิตและของคนเลวี

⁴Moreover he commanded the people who lived in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might give themselves to the law of Yahweh.

⁵พอพระบัญชากระจายออกไป ประชาชนอิสราเอลก็ได้บริจาคเข้ามาอย่างมากมาย มีผลรุ่นแรกของข้าว น้ำองุ่น น้ำมัน น้ำผึ้ง และผลิตผลทุกอย่างของไร่นา และเขานำสิบชักหนึ่งแห่งของทุกชนิดเข้ามาอย่างมากมาย

⁵As soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel gave in abundance the first fruits of grain, new wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.

⁶และประชาชนอิสราเอลและยูดาห์ผู้อาศัยอยู่ในหัวเมืองของยูดาห์ได้นำสิบชักหนึ่งของวัวและแกะ และสิบชักหนึ่งของสิ่งบริสุทธิ์ที่มอบถวายแด่พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของเขา และเก็บไว้เป็นกองๆ

⁶The children of Israel and Judah, who lived in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of cattle and sheep, and the tithe of dedicated things which were consecrated to Yahweh their God, and laid them by heaps.

⁷ในเดือนที่สามเขาเริ่มกองสุมขึ้นและสำเร็จในเดือนที่เจ็ด

⁷In the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month.

⁸เมื่อเฮเซคียาห์และเจ้านายมาเห็นกองเหล่านั้น ท่านทั้งหลายก็ถวายสาธุการแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ และอวยพรแก่อิสราเอลประชาชนของพระองค์

⁸When Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, they blessed Yahweh, and his people Israel.

⁹เฮเซคียาห์ก็ทรงไต่ถามปุโรหิตและคนเลวีถึงเรื่องกองเหล่านั้น

⁹Then Hezekiah questioned the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps.

¹⁰อาซาริยาห์ปุโรหิตใหญ่ ผู้เป็นวงศ์วานของศาโดกทูลตอบพระองค์ว่า "ตั้งแต่ประชาชนได้เริ่มนำส่วนบริจาคเข้ามาในพระนิเวศของพระเยโฮวาห์ พวกข้าพระองค์ได้รับประทานและมีพอกับมีเหลือมาก เพราะพระเยโฮวาห์ได้ทรงอำนวยพระพรประชาชนของพระองค์ จึงมีเหลืออยู่ใหญ่โตอย่างนี้"

¹⁰Azariah the chief priest, of the house of Zadok, answered him and said, “Since people began to bring the offerings into the house of Yahweh, we have eaten and had enough, and have left plenty: for Yahweh has blessed his people; and that which is left is this great store.”

¹¹แล้วเฮเซคียาห์จึงทรงบัญชาให้เขาจัดห้องในพระนิเวศของพระเยโฮวาห์และเขาทั้งหลายก็จัดไว้

¹¹Then Hezekiah commanded them to prepare rooms in the house of Yahweh; and they prepared them.

¹²และเขาทั้งหลายนำสิ่งบริจาคเข้ามาอย่างสัตย์ซื่อทั้งสิบชักหนึ่งและของมอบถวาย หัวหน้าเจ้านหน้าที่ผู้ดูแลคือโคนานิยาห์คนเลวีกับชิเมอีน้องชายเป็นคนรอง

¹²They brought in the offerings and the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully: and over them Conaniah the Levite was ruler, and Shimei his brother was second.

¹³Jehiel, and Azaziah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, and Jozabad, and Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah, were overseers under the hand of Conaniah and Shimei his brother, by the appointment of Hezekiah the king, and Azariah the ruler of God’s house.

¹⁴Kore the son of Imnah the Levite, the porter at the east gate, was over the freewill offerings of God, to distribute the offerings of Yahweh, and the most holy things.

¹⁵เอเดน มินยามิน เยชูอา เชไมอาห์ อามาริยาห์ เชคานิยาห์ได้ช่วยเขาในตำแหน่งหน้าที่ในหัวเมืองของปุโรหิต ให้แจกแก่พี่น้องของเขาทั้งหลาย ทั้งผู้ใหญ่และผู้น้อยเหมือนกันตามกองเวร

¹⁵Under him were Eden, and Miniamin, and Jeshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah, in the cities of the priests, in their office of trust, to give to their brothers by divisions, as well to the great as to the small:

¹⁶เว้นแต่คนเหล่านั้นที่ขึ้นทะเบียนไว้ตามผู้ชาย ตั้งแต่สามขวบขึ้นไป ทุกคนที่เข้าไปในพระนิเวศของพระเยโฮวาห์ เป็นเวรตามหน้าที่ประจำวันที่ต้องทำ เพื่อทำการปรนนิบัติตามหน้าที่โดยกองของเขา

¹⁶besides those who were reckoned by genealogy of males, from three years old and upward, even everyone who entered into the house of Yahweh, as the duty of every day required, for their service in their offices according to their divisions;

¹⁷and those who were reckoned by genealogy of the priests by their fathers’ houses, and the Levites from twenty years old and upward, in their offices by their divisions;

¹⁸และขึ้นทะเบียนทั้งลูกเล็กๆของเขา ภรรยาของเขา บุตรชายบุตรสาวของเขามวลชนทั้งสิ้น เพราะในตำแหน่งหน้าที่นั้นเขาทั้งหลายได้ชำระตัวให้บริสุทธิ์

¹⁸and those who were reckoned by genealogy of all their little ones, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, through all the congregation: for in their office of trust they sanctified themselves in holiness.

¹⁹Also for the sons of Aaron the priests, who were in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every city, there were men who were mentioned by name, to give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all who were reckoned by genealogy among the Levites.

²⁰เฮเซคียาห์ทรงกระทำดังนี้ทั่วทั้งยูดาห์ และพระองค์ทรงกระทำสิ่งที่ดีและชอบ และที่เป็นความจริงต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของพระองค์

²⁰Hezekiah did so throughout all Judah; and he worked that which was good and right and faithful before Yahweh his God.

²¹และงานทุกอย่างซึ่งพระองค์ทรงเริ่มกระทำในการปรนนิบัติแห่งพระนิเวศของพระเจ้า และตามพระราชบัญญัติและพระบัญญัติ เพื่อแสวงหาพระเจ้าของพระองค์ พระองค์ทรงกระทำด้วยเต็มพระทัย และทรงจำเริญขึ้น

²¹In every work that he began in the service of God’s house, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.
