1In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.
2เมื่อพระองค์ทรงเริ่มครอบครองนั้น พระองค์ทรงมีพระชนมายุสิบหกพรรษา และพระองค์ทรงครอบครองอยู่ในกรุงเยรูซาเล็มห้าสิบสองปี พระมารดามีพระนามว่าเยโคลียาห์ชาวเยรูซาเล็ม
2Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Jecoliah of Jerusalem.
3พระองค์ได้ทรงกระทำสิ่งที่ถูกต้องในสายพระเนตรของพระเยโฮวาห์ ตามทุกสิ่งที่อามาซิยาห์ราชบิดาของพระองค์ทรงกระทำ
3He did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, according to all that his father Amaziah had done.
4ถึงกระนั้นปูชนียสถานสูงก็ยังมิได้ถูกกำจัดเสีย ประชาชนยังถวายสัตวบูชาและเผาเครื่องหอมบนปูชนียสถานสูงเหล่านั้น
4However the high places were not taken away: the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.
5และพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงลงทัณฑ์กษัตริย์ กษัตริย์จึงทรงเป็นโรคเรื้อนจนถึงวันสิ้นพระชนม์ และทรงประทับในวังต่างหาก และโยธามโอรสของกษัตริย์ควบคุมสำนักพระราชวัง และทรงวินิจฉัยประชาชนแห่งแผ่นดิน
5Yahweh struck the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death, and lived in a separate house. Jotham the king’s son was over the household, judging the people of the land.
6ส่วนพระราชกิจนอกนั้นของอาซาริยาห์ และบรรดาสิ่งซึ่งพระองค์ทรงกระทำ มิได้บันทึกไว้ในหนังสือพงศาวดารแห่งกษัตริย์ประเทศยูดาห์หรือ

7และอาซาริยาห์ทรงล่วงหลับไปอยู่กับบรรพบุรุษของพระองค์ และเขาฝังไว้กับบรรพบุรุษของพระองค์ในนครดาวิด และโยธามโอรสของพระองค์ขึ้นครองแทนพระองค์
7Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Jotham his son reigned in his place.
8ในปีที่สามสิบแปดแห่งรัชกาลอาซาริยาห์กษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์ เศคาริยาห์โอรสของเยโรโบอัมขึ้นครองเหนืออิสราเอลในสะมาเรียหกเดือน
8In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah the son of Jeroboam reigned over Israel in Samaria six months.
9และพระองค์ทรงกระทำสิ่งที่ชั่วร้ายในสายพระเนตรของพระเยโฮวาห์ ดังที่บรรพบุรุษของพระองค์ทรงกระทำ พระองค์มิได้ทรงพรากจากบาปทั้งหลายของเยโรโบอัมบุตรชายเนบัท ซึ่งพระองค์ทรงกระทำให้อิสราเอลทำบาป
9He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, as his fathers had done: he didn’t depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
10ชัลลูมบุตรชายยาเบชร่วมกันกบฏต่อพระองค์ และล้มพระองค์เสียต่อหน้าประชาชน และประหารพระองค์เสีย และขึ้นครองแทนพระองค์
10Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and struck him before the people, and killed him, and reigned in his place.
11ส่วนพระราชกิจนอกนั้นของเศคาริยาห์ ดูเถิด ได้บันทึกไว้ในหนังสือพงศาวดารแห่งกษัตริย์ประเทศอิสราเอล
11Now the rest of the acts of Zechariah, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
12เหตุการณ์นี้เป็นไปตามพระดำรัสที่พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสแก่เยฮูว่า "บุตรชายของเจ้าจะนั่งบนบัลลังก์แห่งอิสราเอลถึงชั่วอายุที่สี่" และเป็นไปอย่างนั้นแหละ
12This was the word of Yahweh which he spoke to Jehu, saying, “Your sons to the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.” So it came to pass.
13ชัลลูมบุตรชายยาเบชได้เริ่มครอบครองในปีที่สามสิบเก้าแห่งรัชกาลอุสซียาห์กษัตริย์ของยูดาห์ และท่านครองในสะมาเรียเวลาหนึ่งเดือนเต็ม
13Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned for a month in Samaria.
14แล้วเมนาเฮมบุตรชายกาดีได้ขึ้นมาจากเมืองทีรซาห์และมายังสะมาเรีย และท่านก็ล้มชัลลูมบุตรชายยาเบชเสียที่ในสะมาเรีย และประหารชีวิตท่านเสีย และได้ขึ้นครอบครองแทนท่าน
14Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and struck Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and killed him, and reigned in his place.
15ส่วนพระราชกิจนอกนั้นของชัลลูม และการร่วมกันคิดกบฏที่ท่านได้กระทำ ดูเถิด ได้บันทึกไว้ในหนังสือพงศาวดารแห่งกษัตริย์ประเทศอิสราเอล

16ในคราวนั้นเมนาเฮมเข้าปล้นทิฟสาห์และบรรดาผู้ที่อยู่ในเมืองนั้น และดินแดนของเมืองนั้นตั้งแต่ทีรซาห์ไป เพราะเขามิได้เปิดให้แก่ท่าน ท่านจึงโจมตีเมืองนั้น และท่านได้ผ่าท้องหญิงมีครรภ์ในเมืองนั้นเสียทุกคน
16Then Menahem struck Tiphsah, and all who were therein, and its borders, from Tirzah: because they didn’t open to him, therefore he struck it; and all the women therein who were with child he ripped up.
17ในปีที่สามสิบเก้าแห่งรัชกาลอาซาริยาห์กษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์ เมนาเฮมบุตรชายกาดีได้เริ่มครอบครองเหนืออิสราเอล และพระองค์ทรงครอบครองในสะมาเรียสิบปี
17In the nine and thirtieth year of Azariah king of Judah, Menahem the son of Gadi began to reign over Israel for ten years in Samaria.
18และพระองค์ทรงกระทำสิ่งที่ชั่วร้ายในสายพระเนตรของพระเยโฮวาห์ พระองค์มิได้พรากจากบาปทั้งหลายของเยโรโบอัมบุตรชายเนบัทตลอดรัชสมัยของพระองค์ ซึ่งพระองค์ทรงกระทำให้อิสราเอลทำบาป
18He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh: he didn’t depart all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
19ปูลกษัตริย์แห่งอัสซีเรียได้ยกขึ้นมาต่อสู้แผ่นดินนั้น และเมนาเฮมได้ถวายเงินหนึ่งพันตะลันต์แก่ปูล เพื่อจะให้ปูลช่วยให้พระองค์ยึดพระราชอาณาจักรไว้ในพระหัตถ์ของพระองค์ได้
19There came against the land Pul the king of Assyria; and Menahem gave Pul one thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.
20เมนาเฮมได้เร่งรัดเอาเงินนั้นมาจากอิสราเอล คือจากคนมั่งมีทุกคน เงินคนละห้าสิบเชเขล เพื่อถวายแก่กษัตริย์แห่งอัสซีเรีย กษัตริย์แห่งอัสซีเรียจึงยกทัพกลับ และมิได้ทรงยับยั้งอยู่ในแผ่นดินนั้น
20Menahem exacted the money of Israel, even of all the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and didn’t stay there in the land.
21ส่วนพระราชกิจนอกนั้นของเมนาเฮม และบรรดาสิ่งซึ่งพระองค์ทรงกระทำ มิได้บันทึกไว้ในหนังสือพงศาวดารแห่งกษัตริย์ประเทศอิสราเอลหรือ

22และเมนาเฮมก็ล่วงหลับไปอยู่กับบรรพบุรุษของพระองค์ และเปคาหิยาห์โอรสก็ขึ้นครองแทนพระองค์
22Menahem slept with his fathers; and Pekahiah his son reigned in his place.
23ในปีที่ห้าสิบแห่งรัชกาลอาซาริยาห์กษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์ เปคาหิยาห์โอรสของเมนาเฮมได้เริ่มครอบครองเหนืออิสราเอลในสะมาเรีย และพระองค์ทรงครอบครองสองปี
23In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria for two years.
24และพระองค์ทรงกระทำสิ่งที่ชั่วร้ายในสายพระเนตรของพระเยโฮวาห์ พระองค์มิได้ทรงพรากจากบาปทั้งหลายของเยโรโบอัมบุตรชายเนบัท ซึ่งพระองค์ทรงกระทำให้อิสราเอลทำบาป
24He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh: he didn’t depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
25แต่เปคาห์บุตรชายเรมาลิยาห์ แม่ทัพของพระองค์ ได้ร่วมกันคิดกบฏต่อพระองค์ และได้ประหารพระองค์เสียในสะมาเรีย ในพระราชวังแห่งราชสำนัก กับอารโกบและอารีเอห์ และมีคนกิเลอาดห้าสิบคนร่วมกับท่าน ท่านได้สังหารพระองค์ และได้ขึ้นครอบครองแทนพระองค์
25Pekah the son of Remaliah, his captain, conspired against him, and struck him in Samaria, in the castle of the king’s house, with Argob and Arieh; and with him were fifty men of the Gileadites: and he killed him, and reigned in his place.
26ส่วนพระราชกิจนอกนั้นของเปคาหิยาห์ และบรรดาสิ่งซึ่งพระองค์ทรงกระทำ ดูเถิด มีบันทึกไว้ในหนังสือพงศาวดารแห่งกษัตริย์ประเทศอิสราเอล

27ในปีที่ห้าสิบสองแห่งรัชกาลอาซาริยาห์กษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์ เปคาห์บุตรชายเรมาลิยาห์ได้เริ่มครอบครองเหนืออิสราเอลในสะมาเรีย และทรงครอบครองยี่สิบปี
27In the two and fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria for twenty years.
28และพระองค์ทรงกระทำสิ่งที่ชั่วร้ายในสายพระเนตรของพระเยโฮวาห์ พระองค์มิได้ทรงพรากจากบาปทั้งหลายของเยโรโบอัมบุตรชายเนบัท ซึ่งพระองค์ทรงกระทำให้อิสราเอลทำบาป
28He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh: he didn’t depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
29ในรัชกาลของเปคาห์กษัตริย์แห่งอิสราเอล ทิกลัทปิเลเสอร์กษัตริย์แห่งอัสซีเรียได้ยกมาและยึดเมืองอิโยน อาเบลเบธมาอาคาห์ ยาโนอาห์ คาเดช ฮาโซร์ กิเลอาด กาลิลี แผ่นดินนัฟทาลีทั้งหมด และกวาดต้อนประชาชนเป็นเชลยไปยังอัสซีเรีย
29In the days of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglath Pileser king of Assyria, and took Ijon, and Abel Beth Maacah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali; and he carried them captive to Assyria.
30แล้วโฮเชยาบุตรชายเอลาห์ได้ร่วมกันคิดกบฏต่อเปคาห์บุตรชายเรมาลิยาห์ และล้มพระองค์ลง และประหารพระองค์เสีย และขึ้นครองแทนพระองค์ในปีที่ยี่สิบแห่งรัชกาลโยธามโอรสของอุสซียาห์
30Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and struck him, and killed him, and reigned in his place, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.
31ส่วนพระราชกิจนอกนั้นของเปคาห์ และบรรดาสิ่งซึ่งพระองค์ทรงกระทำ ดูเถิด มีบันทึกไว้ในหนังสือพงศาวดารแห่งกษัตริย์ประเทศอิสราเอล

32ในปีที่สองแห่งรัชกาลเปคาห์บุตรชายเรมาลิยาห์กษัตริย์แห่งอิสราเอล โยธามโอรสของอุสซียาห์กษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์ได้เริ่มครอบครอง
32In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.
33เมื่อพระองค์ทรงเริ่มครอบครองนั้นมีพระชนมายุยี่สิบห้าพรรษา และพระองค์ทรงครอบครองในเยรูซาเล็มสิบหกปี พระมารดาของพระองค์มีพระนามว่าเยรูชาบุตรสาวของศาโดก
33He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Jerusha the daughter of Zadok.
34และพระองค์ทรงกระทำสิ่งที่ถูกต้องในสายพระเนตรของพระเยโฮวาห์ พระองค์ทรงกระทำตามทุกสิ่งที่อุสซียาห์พระราชบิดาของพระองค์ทรงกระทำ
34He did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh; he did according to all that his father Uzziah had done.
35ถึงกระนั้นปูชนียสถานสูงก็ยังมิได้ถูกกำจัดเสีย ประชาชนยังถวายสัตวบูชาและเผาเครื่องหอมบนปูชนียสถานสูงนั้น พระองค์ทรงสร้างประตูบนของพระนิเวศแห่งพระเยโฮวาห์
35However the high places were not taken away: the people still sacrificed and burned incense in the high places. He built the upper gate of the house of Yahweh.
36ส่วนพระราชกิจนอกนั้นของโยธาม และบรรดาสิ่งซึ่งพระองค์ได้ทรงกระทำ มิได้บันทึกไว้ในหนังสือพงศาวดารแห่งกษัตริย์ประเทศยูดาห์หรือ

37ในกาลครั้งนั้นพระเยโฮวาห์ได้ทรงใช้เรซีนกษัตริย์แห่งซีเรีย และเปคาห์บุตรชายเรมาลิยาห์ให้มาสู้กับยูดาห์
37In those days Yahweh began to send against Judah Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah.
38โยธามได้ทรงล่วงหลับไปอยู่กับบรรพบุรุษของพระองค์ และได้ฝังไว้กับบรรพบุรุษของพระองค์ในนครดาวิดบรรพบุรุษของพระองค์ และอาหัสโอรสของพระองค์ขึ้นครอบครองแทน
38Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Ahaz his son reigned in his place.
