1พี่น้องทั้งหลาย ถ้าผู้ใดถูกครอบงำอยู่ในความผิดบาป ท่านซึ่งอยู่ฝ่ายพระวิญญาณ จงช่วยผู้นั้นด้วยใจอ่อนสุภาพให้เขากลับตั้งตัวใหม่ โดยคิดถึงตัวเอง เกรงว่าท่านจะถูกชักจูงให้หลงไปด้วย
1Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted.
2จงช่วยรับภาระของกันและกัน ท่านจึงจะทำให้พระราชบัญญัติของพระคริสต์สำเร็จ
2Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
3เพราะว่าถ้าผู้ใดถือตัวว่าเป็นคนสำคัญ ทั้งๆที่เขาไม่สำคัญอะไรเลย ผู้นั้นก็หลอกตัวเอง
3For if a man thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
4แต่ให้ทุกคนสำรวจกิจการของตนเองจึงจะมีอะไรๆที่จะอวดได้ในตนเองผู้เดียว ไม่ใช่เปรียบกับผู้อื่น
4But let each man test his own work, and then he will take pride in himself and not in his neighbor.
5เพราะว่าทุกคนต้องแบกภาระของตนเอง
5For each man will bear his own burden.
6ส่วนผู้ที่รับคำสอนในพระวจนะแล้ว จงแบ่งสิ่งที่ดีทุกอย่างให้แก่ผู้ที่สอนตนเถิด
6But let him who is taught in the word share all good things with him who teaches.
7อย่าหลงเลย ท่านจะหลอกลวงพระเจ้าไม่ได้ เพราะว่าผู้ใดหว่านอะไรลง ก็จะเกี่ยวเก็บสิ่งนั้น
7Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
8ผู้ที่หว่านในย่านเนื้อหนังของตน ก็จะเกี่ยวเก็บความเปื่อยเน่าจากเนื้อหนังนั้น แต่ผู้ที่หว่านในย่านพระวิญญาณ ก็จะเกี่ยวเก็บชีวิตนิรันดร์จากพระวิญญาณนั้น
8For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
9อย่าให้เราเมื่อยล้าในการทำดี เพราะว่าถ้าเราไม่ท้อใจแล้ว เราก็จะเกี่ยวเก็บในเวลาอันสมควร
9Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up.
10เหตุฉะนั้นเมื่อเรามีโอกาสให้เราทำดีต่อคนทั้งปวง และเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งต่อคนที่อยู่ในครอบครัวของความเชื่อ
10So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
11ท่านจงสังเกตดูตัวอักษรที่ข้าพเจ้าเขียนถึงท่านด้วยมือของข้าพเจ้าเองว่า ตัวโตเพียงใด
11See with what large letters I write to you with my own hand.
12คนที่ปรารถนาได้หน้าตามเนื้อหนัง เขาบังคับให้ท่านรับพิธีเข้าสุหนัต เพื่อเขาจะได้ไม่ถูกข่มเหงเพราะเรื่องกางเขนของพระคริสต์เท่านั้น
12As many as desire to look good in the flesh, they compel you to be circumcised; only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.
13ถึงแม้คนที่เข้าสุหนัตแล้วก็มิได้ประพฤติตามพระราชบัญญัติ แต่เขาปรารถนาที่จะให้ท่านเข้าสุหนัต เพื่อเขาจะได้เอาเนื้อหนังของท่านไปอวด
13For even they who receive circumcision don’t keep the law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.
14แต่พระเจ้าไม่ทรงโปรดให้ข้าพเจ้าอวดตัวนอกจากเรื่องกางเขนของพระเยซูคริสต์องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเรา ซึ่งโดยกางเขนนั้นโลกตรึงไว้แล้วจากข้าพเจ้า และข้าพเจ้าก็ตรึงไว้แล้วจากโลก
14But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
15เพราะว่าในพระเยซูคริสต์ การที่ถือพิธีเข้าสุหนัตหรือไม่ถือพิธีเข้าสุหนัต ไม่เป็นของสำคัญอะไร แต่การที่ถูกสร้างใหม่นั้นสำคัญ
15For in Christ Jesus neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.
16สันติสุขและพระกรุณาจงมีแก่ทุกคนที่ประพฤติตามกฎนี้ และแก่ชนอิสราเอลของพระเจ้า
16As many as walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them, and on God’s Israel.
17ตั้งแต่นี้ไป ขออย่าให้ผู้ใดมารบกวนข้าพเจ้าเลย เพราะว่าข้าพเจ้ามีรอยประทับตราของพระเยซูเจ้าติดอยู่ที่กายของข้าพเจ้า
17From now on, let no one cause me any trouble, for I bear the marks of the Lord Jesus branded on my body.
18พี่น้องทั้งหลาย ขอให้พระคุณของพระเยซูคริสต์องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเรา จงสถิตอยู่กับจิตวิญญาณของท่านทั้งหลายด้วยเถิด เอเมน [เขียนถึงชาวกาลาเทียจากเมืองโรม]
