¹ยังอีกสองวันจะถึงเทศกาลปัสกาและเทศกาลกินขนมปังไร้เชื้อ พวกปุโรหิตใหญ่และพวกธรรมาจารย์ก็หาช่องที่จะจับพระองค์ด้วยอุบายและจะฆ่าเสีย

¹It was now two days before the feast of the Passover and the unleavened bread, and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might seize him by deception, and kill him.

²แต่เขาพูดกันว่า "ในวันเลี้ยง อย่าเพ่อทำเลย กลัวว่าประชาชนจะเกิดวุ่นวาย"

²For they said, “Not during the feast, because there might be a riot of the people.”

³ในเวลาที่พระองค์ประทับอยู่ที่หมู่บ้านเบธานี ในเรือนของซีโมนคนโรคเรื้อน ขณะเมื่อทรงเอนพระกายลงเสวยอยู่ มีหญิงผู้หนึ่งถือผอบน้ำมันหอมนาระดาที่มีราคามากมาเฝ้าพระองค์ และนางทำให้ผอบนั้นแตกแล้วก็เทน้ำมันนั้นลงบนพระเศียรของพระองค์

³While he was at Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster jar of ointment of pure nard—very costly. She broke the jar, and poured it over his head.

⁴แต่มีบางคนไม่พอใจพูดกันว่า "เหตุใดจึงทำให้น้ำมันนี้เสียเปล่า

⁴But there were some who were indignant among themselves, saying, “Why has this ointment been wasted?

⁵เพราะว่าน้ำมันนี้ ถ้าขายก็คงได้เงินกว่าสามร้อยเหรียญเดนาริอัน แล้วจะแจกให้คนจนก็ได้" เขาจึงบ่นว่าผู้หญิงนั้น

⁵For this might have been sold for more than three hundred denarii, 300 denarii was about a years wages for an agricultural laborer. and given to the poor.” They grumbled against her.

⁶ฝ่ายพระเยซูตรัสว่า "อย่าว่าเขาเลย กวนใจเขาทำไม เขาได้กระทำการดีแก่เรา

⁶But Jesus said, “Leave her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a good work for me.

⁷ด้วยว่าคนยากจนมีอยู่กับท่านเสมอ และท่านจะทำการดีแก่เขาเมื่อไรก็ทำได้ แต่เราจะไม่อยู่กับท่านเสมอไป

⁷ For you always have the poor with you, and whenever you want to, you can do them good; but you will not always have me.

⁸ซึ่งผู้หญิงนี้ได้กระทำก็เป็นการสุดกำลังของเขา เขามาชโลมกายของเราก่อนเพื่อการศพของเรา

⁸ She has done what she could. She has anointed my body beforehand for the burying.

⁹เราบอกความจริงแก่ท่านทั้งหลายว่า ที่ไหนๆที่ข่าวประเสริฐนี้จะประกาศทั่วพิภพ การซึ่งผู้หญิงนี้ได้กระทำก็จะลือไปเป็นที่ระลึกถึงเขาที่นั่น"

⁹ Most certainly I tell you, wherever this Good News may be preached throughout the whole world, that which this woman has done will also be spoken of for a memorial of her.”

¹⁰ฝ่ายยูดาสอิสคาริโอท เป็นคนหนึ่งในพวกสาวกสิบสองคน ได้ไปหาพวกปุโรหิตใหญ่ เพื่อจะทรยศพระองค์ให้เขา

¹⁰Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, went away to the chief priests, that he might deliver him to them.

¹¹ครั้นเขาได้ยินอย่างนั้นก็ดีใจ และสัญญาว่าจะให้เงินแก่ยูดาส แล้วยูดาสจึงคอยหาช่องที่จะทรยศพระองค์ให้แก่เขา

¹¹They, when they heard it, were glad, and promised to give him money. He sought how he might conveniently deliver him.

¹²เมื่อวันต้นเทศกาลกินขนมปังไร้เชื้อ ถึงเวลาเขาเคยฆ่าลูกแกะสำหรับปัสกานั้น พวกสาวกของพระองค์มาทูลถามพระองค์ว่า "พระองค์ทรงประสงค์จะให้ข้าพระองค์ไปจัดเตรียมปัสกาให้พระองค์เสวยที่ไหน"

¹²On the first day of unleavened bread, when they sacrificed the Passover, his disciples asked him, “Where do you want us to go and prepare that you may eat the Passover?”

¹³พระองค์จึงทรงใช้สาวกสองคนไป สั่งเขาว่า "จงเข้าไปในกรุง แล้วจะมีชายคนหนึ่งทูนหม้อน้ำมาพบท่าน จงตามคนนั้นไป

¹³He sent two of his disciples, and said to them, “Go into the city, and there you will meet a man carrying a pitcher of water. Follow him,

¹⁴เขาจะเข้าไปในที่ใด ท่านจงบอกเจ้าของเรือนนั้นว่า พระอาจารย์ถามว่า `ห้องที่เราจะกินปัสกากับเหล่าสาวกของเราได้นั้นอยู่ที่ไหน'

¹⁴ and wherever he enters in, tell the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’

¹⁵เจ้าของเรือนจะชี้ให้ท่านเห็นห้องใหญ่ชั้นบนที่ตกแต่งไว้แล้ว ที่นั่นแหละ จงจัดเตรียมไว้สำหรับพวกเราเถิด"

¹⁵ He will himself show you a large upper room furnished and ready. Get ready for us there.”

¹⁶สาวกสองคนนั้นจึงออกเดินเข้าไปในกรุง และพบเหมือนพระดำรัสที่พระองค์ได้ตรัสแก่เขา แล้วได้จัดเตรียมปัสกาไว้พร้อม

¹⁶His disciples went out, and came into the city, and found things as he had said to them, and they prepared the Passover.

¹⁷ครั้นถึงเวลาค่ำแล้ว พระองค์จึงเสด็จมากับสาวกสิบสองคน

¹⁷When it was evening he came with the twelve.

¹⁸เมื่อกำลังเอนกายลงรับประทานอาหารอยู่ พระเยซูจึงตรัสว่า "เราบอกความจริงแก่ท่านทั้งหลายว่า คนหนึ่งในพวกท่านจะทรยศเราไว้ คือคนหนึ่งที่รับประทานอาหารอยู่กับเรานี่แหละ"

¹⁸As they sat and were eating, Jesus said, “Most certainly I tell you, one of you will betray me—he who eats with me.”

¹⁹ฝ่ายพวกสาวกก็เริ่มพากันเป็นทุกข์ และทูลถามพระองค์ทีละคนว่า "คือข้าพระองค์หรือ" และอีกคนหนึ่งถามว่า "คือข้าพระองค์หรือ"

¹⁹They began to be sorrowful, and to ask him one by one, “Surely not I?” And another said, “Surely not I?”

²⁰พระองค์จึงตรัสตอบเขาว่า "เป็นคนหนึ่งในสาวกสิบสองคนนี้ คือเป็นคนจิ้มในจานเดียวกันกับเรา

²⁰He answered them, “It is one of the twelve, he who dips with me in the dish.

²¹เพราะบุตรมนุษย์จะเสด็จไปตามที่ได้มีคำเขียนไว้ถึงพระองค์นั้นจริง แต่วิบัติแก่ผู้ที่จะทรยศบุตรมนุษย์ไว้ ถ้าคนนั้นมิได้บังเกิดมาก็จะดีกว่า"

²¹ For the Son of Man goes, even as it is written about him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would be better for that man if he had not been born.”

²²ระหว่างอาหารมื้อนั้น พระเยซูทรงหยิบขนมปังมา ทรงขอบพระคุณ แล้วหักส่งให้แก่เหล่าสาวกตรัสว่า "จงรับกินเถิด นี่เป็นกายของเรา"

²²As they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had blessed, he broke it, and gave to them, and said, “Take, eat. This is my body.”

²³แล้วพระองค์จึงทรงหยิบถ้วย ขอบพระคุณและส่งให้เขา เขาก็รับไปดื่มทุกคน

²³He took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave to them. They all drank of it.

²⁴แล้วพระองค์ตรัสแก่เขาว่า "นี่เป็นโลหิตของเราอันเป็นโลหิตแห่งพันธสัญญาใหม่ ซึ่งต้องหลั่งออกเพื่อคนเป็นอันมาก

²⁴He said to them, “This is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many.

²⁵เราบอกความจริงแก่ท่านทั้งหลายว่า เราจะไม่ดื่มน้ำผลแห่งเถาองุ่นนี้ต่อไปอีกจนวันนั้นมาถึง คือวันที่เราจะดื่มใหม่ในอาณาจักรของพระเจ้า"

²⁵ Most certainly I tell you, I will no more drink of the fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it anew in the Kingdom of God.”

²⁶เมื่อร้องเพลงสรรเสริญแล้ว พระองค์กับเหล่าสาวกก็พากันออกไปยังภูเขามะกอกเทศ

²⁶When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

²⁷พระเยซูจึงตรัสกับเหล่าสาวกว่า "ท่านทั้งหลายจะสะดุดใจเพราะเราในคืนนี้เอง ด้วยมีคำเขียนไว้ว่า `เราจะตีผู้เลี้ยงแกะ และแกะฝูงนั้นจะกระจัดกระจายไป'

²⁷Jesus said to them, “All of you will be made to stumble because of me tonight, for it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’ Zechariah 13:7

²⁸แต่เมื่อทรงชุบให้เราฟื้นขึ้นมาแล้ว เราจะไปยังแคว้นกาลิลีก่อนหน้าท่าน"

²⁸ However, after I am raised up, I will go before you into Galilee.”

²⁹เปโตรทูลพระองค์ว่า "แม้คนทั้งปวงจะสะดุดใจ ข้าพระองค์จะไม่สะดุดใจ"

²⁹But Peter said to him, “Although all will be offended, yet I will not.”

³⁰พระเยซูจึงตรัสกับเขาว่า "เราบอกความจริงแก่ท่านว่า ในวันนี้ คือคืนนี้เอง ก่อนไก่จะขันสองหน ท่านจะปฏิเสธเราสามครั้ง"

³⁰Jesus said to him, “Most certainly I tell you, that you today, even this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”

³¹แต่เปโตรทูลแข็งแรงทีเดียวว่า "ถึงแม้ข้าพระองค์จะต้องตายกับพระองค์ ข้าพระองค์ก็จะไม่ปฏิเสธพระองค์เลย" เหล่าสาวกก็ทูลเช่นนั้นเหมือนกันทุกคน

³¹But he spoke all the more, “If I must die with you, I will not deny you.” They all said the same thing.

³²พระเยซูกับเหล่าสาวกมายังที่แห่งหนึ่งชื่อเกทเสมนี และพระองค์ตรัสแก่สาวกของพระองค์ว่า "จงนั่งอยู่ที่นี่ขณะเมื่อเราอธิษฐาน"

³²They came to a place which was named Gethsemane. He said to his disciples, “Sit here, while I pray.”

³³พระองค์ก็พาเปโตร ยากอบ และยอห์นไปด้วย แล้วพระองค์ทรงเริ่มวิตกยิ่งและหนักพระทัยนัก

³³He took with him Peter, James, and John, and began to be greatly troubled and distressed.

³⁴จึงตรัสกับเหล่าสาวกว่า "ใจเราเป็นทุกข์แทบจะตาย จงเฝ้าอยู่ที่นี่เถิด"

³⁴He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here, and watch.”

³⁵แล้วพระองค์เสด็จดำเนินไปอีกหน่อยหนึ่ง ซบพระกายลงที่ดินอธิษฐานว่า ถ้าเป็นได้ให้เวลานั้นล่วงพ้นไปจากพระองค์

³⁵He went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass away from him.

³⁶พระองค์ทูลว่า "อับบา พระบิดาเจ้าข้า พระองค์ทรงสามารถกระทำสิ่งทั้งปวงได้ ขอเอาถ้วยนี้เลื่อนพ้นไปจากข้าพระองค์เถิด แต่ว่าอย่าให้เป็นตามใจปรารถนาของข้าพระองค์ แต่ให้เป็นไปตามพระทัยของพระองค์"

³⁶He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire.”

³⁷พระองค์จึงเสด็จกลับมาทรงพบเหล่าสาวกนอนหลับอยู่ และตรัสกับเปโตรว่า "ซีโมนเอ๋ย ท่านนอนหลับหรือ จะคอยเฝ้าอยู่สักทุ่มหนึ่งไม่ได้หรือ

³⁷He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Couldn’t you watch one hour?

³⁸ท่านทั้งหลายจงเฝ้าระวังและอธิษฐานเพื่อท่านจะไม่ต้องถูกการทดลอง จิตใจพร้อมแล้วก็จริง แต่เนื้อหนังยังอ่อนกำลัง"

³⁸ Watch and pray, that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

³⁹พระองค์จึงเสด็จไปอธิษฐานอีกครั้งหนึ่ง ทรงกล่าวคำเหมือนคราวก่อน

³⁹Again he went away, and prayed, saying the same words.

⁴⁰ครั้นพระองค์เสด็จกลับมาก็ทรงพบสาวกนอนหลับอยู่อีก (เพราะตาเขาลืมไม่ขึ้น) และเขาไม่รู้ว่าจะทูลประการใด

⁴⁰Again he returned, and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy, and they didn’t know what to answer him.

⁴¹เมื่อเสด็จกลับมาครั้งที่สามพระองค์จึงตรัสแก่เขาว่า "ท่านจงนอนต่อไปให้หายเหนื่อย พอเถอะ ดูเถิด เวลาซึ่งบุตรมนุษย์ต้องถูกทรยศไว้ในมือของคนบาปนั้นมาถึงแล้ว

⁴¹He came the third time, and said to them, “Sleep on now, and take your rest. It is enough. The hour has come. Behold, the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

⁴²ลุกขึ้นไปกันเถิด ดูเถิด ผู้ที่จะทรยศเราไว้มาใกล้แล้ว"

⁴² Arise, let us be going. Behold, he who betrays me is at hand.”

⁴³พระองค์ตรัสยังไม่ทันขาดคำ ในทันใดนั้นยูดาสซึ่งเป็นคนหนึ่งในเหล่าสาวกสิบสองคนนั้น กับหมู่ชนเป็นอันมาก ถือดาบถือไม้ตะบอง ได้มาจากพวกปุโรหิตใหญ่ พวกธรรมาจารย์ และพวกผู้ใหญ่

⁴³Immediately, while he was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, came—and with him a multitude with swords and clubs, from the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders.

⁴⁴ผู้ที่จะทรยศพระองค์นั้นได้ให้สัญญาณแก่เขาว่า "เราจุบผู้ใด ก็เป็นผู้นั้นแหละ จงจับกุมเขาไปให้มั่นคง"

⁴⁴Now he who betrayed him had given them a sign, saying, “Whomever I will kiss, that is he. Seize him, and lead him away safely.”

⁴⁵และทันทีที่ยูดาสมาถึง เขาตรงเข้ามาหาพระองค์ทูลว่า "พระอาจารย์เจ้าข้า พระอาจารย์เจ้าข้า" แล้วจุบพระองค์

⁴⁵When he had come, immediately he came to him, and said, “Rabbi! Rabbi!” and kissed him.

⁴⁶คนเหล่านั้นก็จับกุมพระองค์ไป

⁴⁶They laid their hands on him, and seized him.

⁴⁷คนหนึ่งในพวกเหล่านั้นที่ยืนอยู่ใกล้ๆ ได้ชักดาบออกฟันผู้รับใช้คนหนึ่งของมหาปุโรหิตถูกหูของเขาขาด

⁴⁷But a certain one of those who stood by drew his sword, and struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.

⁴⁸พระเยซูจึงตรัสถามพวกเหล่านั้นว่า "ท่านทั้งหลายเห็นเราเป็นโจรหรือจึงถือดาบ ถือตะบองออกมาจับเรา

⁴⁸Jesus answered them, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to seize me?

⁴⁹เราได้อยู่กับท่านทั้งหลายทุกวันสั่งสอนในพระวิหาร ท่านก็หาได้จับเราไม่ แต่จะต้องสำเร็จตามพระคัมภีร์"

⁴⁹ I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and you didn’t arrest me. But this is so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled.”

⁵⁰แล้วสาวกทั้งหมดได้ละทิ้งพระองค์ไว้และพากันหนีไป

⁵⁰They all left him, and fled.

⁵¹มีชายหนุ่มคนหนึ่งห่มผ้าป่านผืนหนึ่งคลุมร่างกายที่เปลือยเปล่าของตนติดตามพระองค์ไป พวกหนุ่มๆก็จับเขาไว้

⁵¹A certain young man followed him, having a linen cloth thrown around himself, over his naked body. The young men grabbed him,

⁵²แต่เขาได้สลัดผ้าป่านผืนนั้นทิ้งเสีย แล้วเปลือยกายหนีไป

⁵²but he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.

⁵³เขาพาพระเยซูไปหามหาปุโรหิต และมีบรรดาพวกปุโรหิตใหญ่ พวกผู้ใหญ่ และพวกธรรมาจารย์ชุมนุมพร้อมกันอยู่ที่นั่น

⁵³They led Jesus away to the high priest. All the chief priests, the elders, and the scribes came together with him.

⁵⁴ฝ่ายเปโตรได้ติดตามพระองค์ไปห่างๆจนเข้าไปถึงคฤหาสน์ของมหาปุโรหิต และนั่งผิงไฟอยู่กับพวกคนใช้

⁵⁴Peter had followed him from a distance, until he came into the court of the high priest. He was sitting with the officers, and warming himself in the light of the fire.

⁵⁵พวกปุโรหิตใหญ่ กับบรรดาสมาชิกสภาจึงหาพยานมาเบิกปรักปรำพระเยซูเพื่อจะประหารพระองค์เสีย แต่หาหลักฐานไม่ได้

⁵⁵Now the chief priests and the whole council sought witnesses against Jesus to put him to death, and found none.

⁵⁶ด้วยว่ามีหลายคนเป็นพยานเท็จปรักปรำพระองค์ แต่คำของเขาแตกต่างกัน

⁵⁶For many gave false testimony against him, and their testimony didn’t agree with each other.

⁵⁷มีบางคนยืนขึ้นเบิกความเท็จปรักปรำพระองค์ว่า

⁵⁷Some stood up, and gave false testimony against him, saying,

⁵⁸"ข้าพเจ้าได้ยินคนนี้ว่า `เราจะทำลายพระวิหารนี้ที่สร้างไว้ด้วยมือมนุษย์ และในสามวันจะสร้างขึ้นอีกวิหารหนึ่งซึ่งไม่สร้างด้วยมือมนุษย์เลย'"

⁵⁸“We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another made without hands.’”

⁵⁹แต่คำพยานของคนเหล่านั้นเองก็ยังแตกต่างไม่ถูกต้องกัน

⁵⁹Even so, their testimony did not agree.

⁶⁰มหาปุโรหิตจึงลุกขึ้นยืนท่ามกลางที่ชุมนุมถามพระเยซูว่า "ท่านไม่ตอบอะไรบ้างหรือ ซึ่งเขาเบิกความปรักปรำท่านนั้นจะว่าอย่างไร"

⁶⁰The high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, “Have you no answer? What is it which these testify against you?”

⁶¹แต่พระองค์ทรงนิ่งอยู่ มิได้ตอบประการใด ท่านมหาปุโรหิตจึงถามพระองค์อีกว่า "ท่านเป็นพระคริสต์พระบุตรของผู้ทรงบรมสุขหรือ"

⁶¹But he stayed quiet, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?”

⁶²พระเยซูทรงตอบว่า "เราเป็น และท่านทั้งหลายจะได้เห็นบุตรมนุษย์นั่งข้างขวาของผู้ทรงฤทธานุภาพ และเสด็จมาในเมฆแห่งฟ้าสวรรค์"

⁶²Jesus said, “I am. You will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of the sky.”

⁶³ท่านมหาปุโรหิตจึงฉีกเสื้อของตนแล้วกล่าวว่า "เราต้องการพยานอะไรอีกเล่า

⁶³The high priest tore his clothes, and said, “What further need have we of witnesses?

⁶⁴ท่านทั้งหลายได้ยินเขาพูดหมิ่นประมาทแล้ว ท่านทั้งหลายคิดเห็นอย่างไร" คนทั้งปวงจึงเห็นพร้อมกันว่าควรจะมีโทษถึงตาย

⁶⁴You have heard the blasphemy! What do you think?” They all condemned him to be worthy of death.

⁶⁵บางคนก็เริ่มถ่มน้ำลายรดพระองค์ ปิดพระพักตร์พระองค์ ตีพระองค์ แล้วว่าแก่พระองค์ว่า "พยากรณ์ซิ" และพวกคนใช้ก็เอาฝ่ามือตบพระองค์

⁶⁵Some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to beat him with fists, and to tell him, “Prophesy!” The officers struck him with the palms of their hands.

⁶⁶และขณะที่เปโตรอยู่ใต้คฤหาสน์ข้างล่างนั้น มีหญิงคนหนึ่งในพวกสาวใช้ของท่านมหาปุโรหิตเดินมา

⁶⁶As Peter was in the courtyard below, one of the maids of the high priest came,

⁶⁷เมื่อเห็นเปโตรผิงไฟอยู่เขาเขม้นดู แล้วพูดว่า "เจ้าได้อยู่กับเยซูชาวนาซาเร็ธด้วย"

⁶⁷and seeing Peter warming himself, she looked at him, and said, “You were also with the Nazarene, Jesus!”

⁶⁸แต่เปโตรปฏิเสธว่า "ที่เจ้าว่านั้นข้าไม่รู้เรื่องและไม่เข้าใจ" เปโตรจึงออกไปที่ระเบียงบ้าน แล้วไก่ก็ขัน

⁶⁸But he denied it, saying, “I neither know, nor understand what you are saying.” He went out on the porch, and the rooster crowed.

⁶⁹อีกครั้งหนึ่งสาวใช้คนหนึ่งได้เห็นเปโตร แล้วเริ่มบอกกับคนที่ยืนอยู่ที่นั่นว่า "คนนี้แหละ เป็นพวกเขา"

⁶⁹The maid saw him, and began again to tell those who stood by, “This is one of them.”

⁷⁰แต่เปโตรก็ปฏิเสธอีก แล้วอีกสักครู่หนึ่งคนทั้งหลายที่ยืนอยู่ที่นั่นได้ว่าแก่เปโตรว่า "เจ้าเป็นคนหนึ่งในพวกเขาแน่แล้ว ด้วยว่าเจ้าเป็นชาวกาลิลี และสำเนียงของเจ้าก็ส่อไปทางเดียวกันด้วย"

⁷⁰But he again denied it. After a little while again those who stood by said to Peter, “You truly are one of them, for you are a Galilean, and your speech shows it.”

⁷¹แต่เปโตรเริ่มสบถและสาบานว่า "คนที่เจ้าว่านั้นข้าไม่รู้จัก"

⁷¹But he began to curse, and to swear, “I don’t know this man of whom you speak!”

⁷²แล้วไก่ก็ขันเป็นครั้งที่สอง เปโตรจึงระลึกถึงคำที่พระเยซูตรัสไว้แก่เขาว่า "ก่อนไก่ขันสองหน ท่านจะปฏิเสธเราสามครั้ง" เมื่อเปโตรหวนคิดขึ้นได้ก็ร้องไห้

⁷²The rooster crowed the second time. Peter remembered the word, how that Jesus said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.” When he thought about that, he wept.
