¹Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.

²ดูเถิด ได้เกิดแผ่นดินไหวใหญ่ยิ่งนัก มีทูตสวรรค์ขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าได้ลงมาจากสวรรค์ กลิ้งก้อนหินนั้นออกจากปากอุโมงค์ แล้วก็นั่งอยู่บนหินนั้น

²Behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from the sky, and came and rolled away the stone from the door, and sat on it.

³ใบหน้าของทูตนั้นเหมือนแสงฟ้าแลบ เสื้อของทูตนั้นก็ขาวเหมือนหิมะ

³His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.

⁴ยามที่เฝ้าอยู่นั้นกลัวทูตองค์นั้นจนตัวสั่น และเป็นเหมือนคนตาย

⁴For fear of him, the guards shook, and became like dead men.

⁵ทูตสวรรค์นั้นจึงกล่าวแก่หญิงนั้นว่า "อย่ากลัวเลย เรารู้อยู่ว่าท่านทั้งหลายมาหาพระเยซูซึ่งถูกตรึงไว้ที่กางเขน

⁵The angel answered the women, “Don’t be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified.

⁶พระองค์หาได้ประทับอยู่ที่นี่ไม่ เพราะพระองค์ทรงเป็นขึ้นมาแล้วตามซึ่งพระองค์ได้ตรัสไว้นั้น มาดูที่ซึ่งองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าได้บรรทมอยู่นั้น

⁶He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying.

⁷แล้วจงรีบไปบอกพวกสาวกของพระองค์เถิดว่า พระองค์ทรงเป็นขึ้นมาจากความตายแล้ว และดูเถิด พระองค์เสด็จไปยังแคว้นกาลิลีก่อนท่านทั้งหลาย ท่านทั้งหลายจะเห็นพระองค์ที่นั่น ดูเถิด เราก็บอกท่านแล้ว"

⁷Go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead, and behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there you will see him.’ Behold, I have told you.”

⁸หญิงเหล่านั้นก็ไปจากอุโมงค์โดยเร็ว ทั้งกลัวทั้งยินดีเป็นอันมาก วิ่งไปบอกพวกสาวกของพระองค์

⁸They departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word.

⁹ขณะที่หญิงเหล่านั้นไปบอกสาวกของพระองค์ ดูเถิด พระเยซูได้เสด็จพบเขาและตรัสว่า "จงจำเริญเถิด" หญิงเหล่านั้นก็มากอดพระบาทของพระองค์ และนมัสการพระองค์

⁹As they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” They came and took hold of his feet, and worshiped him.

¹⁰พระเยซูจึงตรัสกับเขาว่า "อย่ากลัวเลย จงไปบอกพวกพี่น้องของเราให้ไปยังแคว้นกาลิลี และพวกเขาจะได้พบเราที่นั่น"

¹⁰Then Jesus said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Go tell my brothers The word for “brothers” here may be also correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.” that they should go into Galilee, and there they will see me.”

¹¹เมื่อหญิงเหล่านั้นกำลังไป ดูเถิด มียามบางคนในพวกที่เฝ้าอุโมงค์นั้นเข้ามาในเมือง เล่าเหตุการณ์ทั้งปวงซึ่งบังเกิดขึ้นนั้นให้พวกปุโรหิตใหญ่ฟัง

¹¹Now while they were going, behold, some of the guards came into the city, and told the chief priests all the things that had happened.

¹²เมื่อพวกปุโรหิตใหญ่ประชุมปรึกษากันกับพวกผู้ใหญ่แล้ว ก็แจกเงินเป็นอันมากให้แก่พวกทหาร

¹²When they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave a large amount of silver to the soldiers,

¹³สั่งว่า "พวกเจ้าจงพูดว่า `พวกสาวกของเขามาลักเอาศพไปในเวลากลางคืนเมื่อเรานอนหลับอยู่'

¹³saying, “Say that his disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.

¹⁴ถ้าความนี้ทราบถึงหูเจ้าเมือง เราจะพูดแก้ไขให้พวกเจ้าพ้นโทษ"

¹⁴If this comes to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him and make you free of worry.”

¹⁵ครั้นพวกทหารได้รับเงินนั้น จึงทำตามคำแนะนำ และความนี้ก็เลื่องลือไปในบรรดาพวกยิวจนทุกวันนี้

¹⁵So they took the money and did as they were told. This saying was spread abroad among the Jews, and continues until this day.

¹⁶แล้วสาวกสิบเอ็ดคนนั้นก็ได้ไปยังแคว้นกาลิลี ถึงภูเขาที่พระเยซูได้ทรงกำหนดไว้

¹⁶But the eleven disciples went into Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had sent them.

¹⁷และเมื่อเขาเห็นพระองค์จึงกราบลงนมัสการพระองค์ แต่บางคนยังสงสัยอยู่

¹⁷When they saw him, they bowed down to him, but some doubted.

¹⁸พระเยซูจึงเสด็จเข้ามาใกล้ แล้วตรัสกับเขาว่า "ฤทธานุภาพทั้งสิ้นในสวรรค์ก็ดี ในแผ่นดินโลกก็ดี ทรงมอบไว้แก่เราแล้ว

¹⁸Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.

¹⁹เหตุฉะนั้น ท่านทั้งหลายจงออกไปสั่งสอนชนทุกชาติ ให้รับบัพติศมาในพระนามแห่งพระบิดา พระบุตร และพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์

¹⁹ Go, TR and NU add “therefore” and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

²⁰สอนเขาให้ถือรักษาสิ่งสารพัดซึ่งเราได้สั่งพวกท่านไว้ ดูเถิด เราจะอยู่กับท่านทั้งหลายเสมอไป จนกว่าจะสิ้นโลก เอเมน"

²⁰ teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
