1พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสกับโมเสสว่า
1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
2"จงทำแตรเงินสองคันด้วยใช้ค้อนทุบ เจ้าจงใช้แตรนั้นเรียกชุมนุมและใช้รื้อย้ายค่าย
2“Make two trumpets of silver. You shall make them of beaten work. You shall use them for the calling of the congregation, and for the journeying of the camps.
3เมื่อเป่าแตรทั้งสองนั้นก็ให้ชุมนุมชนทั้งหมดมาประชุมพร้อมกันกับเจ้าที่ประตูพลับพลาแห่งชุมนุม
3When they blow them, all the congregation shall gather themselves to you at the door of the Tent of Meeting.
4ถ้าเป่าแตรคันเดียวให้พวกประมุขผู้เป็นหัวหน้าคนอิสราเอลที่นับเป็นพันๆมาประชุมกับเจ้า
4If they blow just one, then the princes, the heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves to you.
5เมื่อเป่าแตรปลุกให้บรรดาค่ายที่ตั้งอยู่ด้านตะวันออกยกออกเดิน
5When you blow an alarm, the camps that lie on the east side shall go forward.
6เมื่อเป่าแตรปลุกหนที่สองให้บรรดาค่ายที่อยู่ด้านใต้ยกออกเดิน เมื่อใดจะให้ยกออกเดินก็ให้เป่าแตรปลุก
6When you blow an alarm the second time, the camps that lie on the south side shall go forward. They shall blow an alarm for their journeys.
7แต่เมื่อจะให้คนทั้งปวงมาประชุมพร้อมกัน จงเป่าแตร แต่อย่าทำเสียงปลุก
7But when the assembly is to be gathered together, you shall blow, but you shall not sound an alarm.
8ให้บุตรชายของอาโรนคือปุโรหิตเป็นคนเป่าแตร แตรนี้จะเป็นกฎถาวรตลอดชั่วอายุของเจ้า
8“The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets. This shall be to you for a statute forever throughout your generations.
9และเมื่อเจ้าทั้งหลายจะไปทำศึกในแผ่นดินของเจ้าสู้ศัตรูผู้มาบีบบังคับเจ้า ก็ให้เป่าแตรทำเสียงปลุก และเจ้าจะเป็นที่ระลึกต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของเจ้า และเจ้าจะได้พ้นจากศัตรูของเจ้า
9When you go to war in your land against the adversary who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets. Then you will be remembered before Yahweh your God, and you will be saved from your enemies.
10ในวันที่เจ้าทั้งหลายมีความยินดี และในงานเทศกาลและในวันต้นเดือนของเจ้า เจ้าจงเป่าแตรเหนือเครื่องเผาบูชาและเหนือสัตวบูชาอันเป็นเครื่องสันติบูชา เป็นที่ให้พระเจ้าของเจ้าระลึกถึงเจ้า เราเป็นพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของเจ้า"
10“Also in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in the beginnings of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God. I am Yahweh your God.”
11ต่อมาวันที่ยี่สิบเดือนที่สองปีที่สองทรงให้เมฆนั้นขึ้นจากพลับพลาพระโอวาท
11It happened in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, that the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle of the testimony.
12คนอิสราเอลก็ยกเดินทางไปจากถิ่นทุรกันดารซีนาย และเมฆนั้นมายั้งอยู่ที่ถิ่นทุรกันดารปาราน
12The children of Israel went forward according to their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud stayed in the wilderness of Paran.
13เขาทั้งหลายได้ยกออกเดินไปเป็นครั้งแรกตามพระดำรัสของพระเยโฮวาห์ที่ตรัสสั่งโมเสส
13They first went forward according to the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.
14ธงค่ายของคนยูดาห์ออกเดินไปเป็นกองๆก่อน มีนาโชนบุตรชายอัมมีนาดับเป็นผู้นำพลโยธา
14First, the standard of the camp of the children of Judah went forward according to their armies. Nahshon the son of Amminadab was over his army.
15เนธันเอลบุตรชายศุอาร์นำพลโยธาตระกูลคนอิสสาคาร์
15Nethanel the son of Zuar was over the army of the tribe of the children of Issachar.
16และเอลีอับบุตรชายเฮโลนนำพลโยธาตระกูลคนเศบูลุน
16Eliab the son of Helon was over the army of the tribe of the children of Zebulun.
17เมื่อรื้อพลับพลาลงแล้ว บรรดาบุตรชายของเกอร์โชนและบุตรชายของเมรารีผู้แบกหามพลับพลานั้นก็ยกเดินไป
17The tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, who bore the tabernacle, went forward.
18ธงค่ายของคนรูเบนออกเดินไปเป็นกองๆ เอลีซูร์บุตรชายเชเดเออร์เป็นผู้นำพลโยธา
18The standard of the camp of Reuben went forward according to their armies. Elizur the son of Shedeur was over his army.
19เชลูมิเอลบุตรชายศุรีชัดดัยนำพลโยธาตระกูลคนสิเมโอน
19Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai was over the army of the tribe of the children of Simeon.
20เอลียาสาฟบุตรชายเดอูเอลนำพลโยธาตระกูลคนกาด
20Eliasaph the son of Deuel was over the army of the tribe of the children of Gad.
21แล้วคนโคฮาทก็ยกออกเดินแบกหามสถานบริสุทธิ์ ก่อนที่พวกนี้ไปถึง เขาก็ตั้งพลับพลาเสร็จแล้ว
21The Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary. The others set up the tabernacle before they arrived.
22ธงค่ายคนเอฟราอิมออกเดินไปเป็นกองๆ มีเอลีชามาบุตรชายอัมมีฮูดนำพลโยธา
22The standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set forward according to their armies. Elishama the son of Ammihud was over his army.
23กาเมลิเอลบุตรชายเปดาซูร์นำพลโยธาตระกูลคนมนัสเสห์
23Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur was over the army of the tribe of the children of Manasseh.
24อาบีดันบุตรชายกิเดโอนีนำพลโยธาตระกูลคนเบนยามิน
24Abidan the son of Gideoni was over the army of the tribe of the children of Benjamin.
25แล้วธงค่ายคนดานเป็นพวกระวังท้ายของค่ายทั้งหมด ได้ยกออกเดินไปเป็นกองๆ มีอาหิเยเซอร์บุตรชายอัมมีชัดดัยนำพลโยธา
25The standard of the camp of the children of Dan, which was the rear guard of all the camps, set forward according to their armies. Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai was over his army.
26ปากีเอลบุตรชายโอครานนำพลโยธาตระกูลคนอาเชอร์
26Pagiel the son of Ochran was over the army of the tribe of the children of Asher.
27อาหิราบุตรชายเอนันนำพลโยธาตระกูลคนนัฟทาลี
27Ahira the son of Enan was over the army of the tribe of the children of Naphtali.
28นี่เป็นอันดับการเดินทางของคนอิสราเอลตามเหล่าพลโยธาของเขา เมื่อเขายกออกเดินไป
28Thus were the travels of the children of Israel according to their armies; and they went forward.
29โมเสสพูดกับโฮบับบุตรชายเรอูเอลคนมีเดียนพ่อตาของโมเสสว่า "เราทั้งหลายออกเดินไปสู่ที่ซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสไว้ว่า `เราจะยกให้แก่เจ้าทั้งหลาย' เชิญไปกับเราเถิด และเราทั้งหลายจะทำดีแก่ท่าน เพราะพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงสัญญาให้ของดีแก่คนอิสราเอล"
29Moses said to Hobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law, “We are journeying to the place of which Yahweh said, ‘I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will treat you well; for Yahweh has spoken good concerning Israel.”
30แต่เขาตอบโมเสสว่า "เราจะไม่ไป เราจะกลับไปเมืองของเรา ยังวงศ์ญาติของเรา"
30He said to him, “I will not go; but I will depart to my own land, and to my relatives.”
31และโมเสสว่า "ขออย่าพรากจากเราไปเลย ท่านทราบอยู่แล้วว่า เราต้องตั้งค่ายอยู่ในถิ่นทุรกันดาร และท่านจะได้เป็นดังนัยน์ตาของเรา
31He said, “Don’t leave us, please; because you know how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and you can be our eyes.
32ถ้าท่านไปกับเราทั้งหลาย พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงกระทำดีอะไรแก่เรา เราจะกระทำอย่างนั้นแก่ท่าน"
32It shall be, if you go with us, yes, it shall be, that whatever good Yahweh does to us, we will do the same to you.”
33เขาทั้งหลายก็ออกเดินจากภูเขาของพระเยโฮวาห์ระยะทางสามวัน หีบพันธสัญญาของพระเยโฮวาห์นำหน้าเขาไปสามวันเพื่อหาที่พักให้เขา
33They set forward from the Mount of Yahweh three days’ journey. The ark of the covenant of Yahweh went before them three days’ journey, to seek out a resting place for them.
34เขาทั้งหลายยกค่ายไปเมื่อไร เมฆของพระเยโฮวาห์ก็อยู่เหนือเขาในกลางวันเมื่อนั้น
34The cloud of Yahweh was over them by day, when they set forward from the camp.
35ต่อมาเมื่อหีบยกออกเดินเมื่อไร โมเสสกราบทูลว่า "ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ขอทรงลุกขึ้นเถิด ให้ศัตรูทั้งหลายของพระองค์กระจัดกระจายไป ให้ผู้ที่ชังพระองค์หลีกหนีพระองค์ไป"
35It happened, when the ark went forward, that Moses said, “Rise up, Yahweh, and let your enemies be scattered! Let those who hate you flee before you!”
36เมื่อหีบยับยั้งท่านกราบทูลว่า "ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ขอเสด็จกลับมาสู่คนอิสราเอลที่นับเป็นพันๆเถิด"
36When it rested, he said, “Return, Yahweh, to the ten thousands of the thousands of Israel.”
