1Kakaliliua-na ompi', mpotompo'wiwi-a pakulea' to tarata ngkai Inoha' Tomoroli'. Patuju-ku bona ni'inca mpu'u napa to makono.
1But concerning spiritual [manifestations], brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant.
2Ni'inca moto ompi', owi kako'ia-na ni'incai Alata'ala, ntora ratete' -koi hante uma ria pekiri-ni mpotuku' pinotau-pinotau to uma howa' mololita.
2Ye know that when ye were [of the] nations [ye were] led away to dumb idols, in whatever way ye might be led.
3Toe pai' kupopo'incai-koi: tauna to mololita ngkai petete' Inoha' Tomoroli', uma hema to mpo'uli' "Tetotowi-imi Yesus!" Wae wo'o uma hema to mpo'uli': "Yesus, Hi'a-mi Pue'!" ane uma-i natete' Inoha' Tomoroli'.
3I give you therefore to know, that no one, speaking in [the power of the] Spirit of God, says, Curse [on] Jesus; and no one can say, Lord Jesus, unless in [the power of the] Holy Spirit.
4Alata'ala mpowai' -ta wori' nyala pakulea' mpobago bago-na, hore mporata-ta pakulea' to mosisala. Aga hawe'ea pakulea' toe, pewai' ngkai Inoha' Tomoroli' to hadua lau-wadi.
4But there are distinctions of gifts, but the same Spirit;
5Wori' nyala pobago to tapobago-ki Pue', aga Pue' to tapobago-ki toe, hadua lau-i-wadi.
5and there are distinctions of services, and the same Lord;
6Wori' nyala ohea-na Alata'ala mpopohiloi baraka' -na hi rala katuwu' -ta, aga Alata'ala to hadua toe wo'o-i-wadi to mpobago butu nyala-na hi rala katuwu' butu-butu dua-ta.
6and there are distinctions of operations, but the same God who operates all things in all.
7Butu dua-ta, hore-hore rawai' pakulea' to ngkai Inoha' Tomoroli', bona ma'ala-ta mpobabehi to mokalaua hi doo.
7But to each the manifestation of the Spirit is given for profit.
8Hi tau hadua Inoha' Tomoroli' mpowai' kapantea mololita. Hi to hadua-na Inoha' Tomoroli' to hibalia toe wo'o-wadi mpowai' pe'inca mpakanoto Lolita Alata'ala.
8For to one, by the Spirit, is given [the] word of wisdom; and to another [the] word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;
9Hi tau hadua Inoha' Tomoroli' toe mpowai' pepangala' to moroho. Pai' hi to hadua-na, bate Inoha' Tomoroli' to hibalia toe wo'o-i-wadi mpowai' kuasa mepaka'uri'.
9and to a different one faith, in [the power of] the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healing in [the power of] the same Spirit;
10Hi to hadua rawai' baraka' mpobabehi tanda mekoncehi, hi to hadua-na rawai' pakulea' mpohowa' lolita Alata'ala. Hi to hadua-na wo'o rawai' pe'inca mpoposisala napa to ngkai Inoha' Tomoroli' pai' napa to bela ngkai Inoha' Tomoroli'. Hi tau ntani' -na rawai' pakulea' mololita hante basa to ngkai Inoha' Tomoroli'. Pai' hi to hadua wo'o rawai' pe'inca mpotoli batua-na basa toe bona ma'ala rapaha doo.
10and to another operations of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; and to a different one kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues.
11Hawe'ea toe, Inoha' Tomoroli' to hadua toe oa' wo'o-i-wadi pue' bago. Nabagi-bagi pewai' -na hi butu-butu dua-ta ntuku' kabotu' -na Hi'a moto.
11But all these things operates the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each in particular according as he pleases.
12Kita' to mepangala' hi Kristus ma'ala rarapai' -ki woto manusia'. Woto hameha' -wadi, aga wori' bagia-na. Nau' wori' bagia-na, hawe'ea bagia toe jadi' hawoto lau-wadi.
12For even as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so also [is] the Christ.
13Wae wo'o kita'. Kita' omea hewa hameha' woto-tamo, apa' Alata'ala mponiu' -ta omea hante Inoha' Tomoroli' to hibalia. Ba to Yahudi-ta ba bela-ta to Yahudi, to tuwu' batua ba to tuwu' maradika, kita' omea mporata Inoha' Tomoroli' to hibalia.
13For also in [the power of] one Spirit *we* have all been baptised into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bondmen or free, and have all been given to drink of one Spirit.
15Ane tapekiri woto-ta, ria witi' -ta, ria pale-ta, pai' wori' nyala bagia ntani' -na. Uma habagia lau-wadi. Rapa' -na witi' mpo'uli': "Aku', bela-a pale, jadi' bela-a bagia ngkai woto." Aga nau' wae, bate bagia woto oa' -i witi' toe.
14For also the body is not one member but many.
16Ane tilinga mpo'uli': "Aku', bela-a mata, jadi' bela-a bagia ngkai woto," tilinga toe bate bagia ngkai woto.
15If the foot say, Because I am not a hand I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?
17Ane rapa' -na hawe'ea bagia woto-ta jadi' mata omea-mi, beiwa-ta pe'epe. Ba hawe'ea jadi' tilinga omea-wadi, beiwa-ta pe'enga'.
16And if the ear say, Because I am not an eye I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?
18Toe pai' Alata'ala mohawa' bona woto-ta rababehi ngkai wori' nyala bagia, butu nyala bagia natu'u hi woto-ta ntuku' konoa-na, hore-hore hi pontu'ua to taoa-na.
17If the whole body [were] an eye, where the hearing? if all hearing, where the smelling?
19Ane rapa' -na napahanyala lau-wadi hawe'ea bagia woto-ta, uma-ipi jadi' woto.
18But now God has set the members, each one of them in the body, according as it has pleased [him].
20Jadi', bate-na wori' -hawo bagia woto, aga woto hameha' lau-wadi.
19But if all were one member, where the body?
21Mata uma ma'ala mpo'uli' -ki pale: "Uma-kuna kuparaluu-ko!" Ba woo' mpo'uli' -ki witi': "Uma-kuna kuparaluu-ko!"
20But now the members [are] many, and the body one.
22Kakono-na bagia woto-ta to hiloa-na lente lau-di to taparaluu lia-e.
21The eye cannot say to the hand, I have not need of thee; or again, the head to the feet, I have not need of you.
23Bagia woto-ta to ta'uli' uma ncola rahi, bagia toe-di to tapenasa hante pohea to ncola. Bagia woto-ta to uma taoa-na rahilo doo, toe lau-di to tawuni.
22But much rather, the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary;
24Aga bagia woto-ta to lompe' ami' hiloa-na, uma tatu'ui napa-napa rahi. Alata'ala mpo'atoro' bagia woto-ta bona bagia to kura' rabila', toe lau-di to tapewili' lia.
23and those [parts] of the body which we esteem to be the more void of honour, these we clothe with more abundant honour; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness;
25Wae wo'o kita' to mepangala' hi Pue' Yesus: kita' omea hewa bagia-bagia ngkai woto to hameha' lau-wadi, pai' kana momepewili' -ta hadua pai' hadua, bona neo' ria posisalaa-ta.
24but our comely [parts] have not need. But God has tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to [the part] that lacked;
26Ane hadua peda', kita' omea ntodohaka dohe-na. Ane hadua ra'une', kita' omea goe' dohe-na.
25that there might be no division in the body, but that the members might have the same concern one for another.
27Hewa Alata'ala mpopajadi' woto-ta ngkai wori' nyala bagia, wae wo'o koi' to wori' napajadi' hawoto lau-damo hi posidaia' -ni hante Kristus. Ma'ala-mi ta'uli', butu dua-ni bagia ngkai woto Kristus omea-koi.
26And if one member suffer, all the members suffer with [it]; and if one member be glorified, all the members rejoice with [it].
28Pai' hi rala kahintuwuaa' -ta to Kristen, Alata'ala mohawa' bona hore-hore ria bago-ta: lomo' -na ria to jadi' suro-na, karonyala-na ria nabi to mpohowa' lolita-na, katolu-na ria to metudui'. Oti toe, ria to nawai' kuasa mpobabehi tanda mekoncehi. Oti toe, ria to nawai' kuasa mepaka'uri', ria to mporata pakulea' mpotulungi doo, ria to jadi' pangkeni, ria to mporata pakulea' mololita hante basa-basa to ngkai Inoha' Tomoroli'.
27Now *ye* are Christ's body, and members in particular.
29Uma-hawo hawe'ea jadi' suro, ba nabi omea ba topetudui' omea. Uma wo'o ba mokuasa omea-mi mpobabehi tanda to mekoncehi
28And God has set certain in the assembly: first, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then miraculous powers; then gifts of healings; helps; governments; kinds of tongues.
30ba mpaka'uri' tauna. Uma hawe'ea to mporata pakulea' mololita hante basa to ngkai Inoha' Tomoroli' ba to mpotoli basa toe bona rapaha doo.
29[Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all [in possession of] miraculous powers?
31Jadi', huduwukui-koi mporata pakulea' ngkai Inoha' Tomoroli' toe we'i lau to meliu kalompe' -na. Tapi' to meliu mpu'u kalompe' -na, toi-mi ulu to ku'uli' -kokoi.
30have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31But desire earnestly the greater gifts, and yet shew I unto you a way of more surpassing excellence.
