1Ngkai toe-mi ompi' -ompi', ku'apui nono-ni: apa' wae-mi kabohe ahi' Alata'ala hi kita' -e, toe pai' kana nitonu woto-ni hi Alata'ala, niponcawa pepue' -ni to tuwu'. Tonu woto-ni hi Alata'ala, bona Hi'a to mpo'atoro' katuwu' -ni, pai' bona moroli' po'ingku-ni. Toe-hana ada mpepue' -ni to masipato', toe to mpakagoe' nono Alata'ala.
1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the compassions of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, [which is] your intelligent service.
2Neo' nituku' kehi tauna to uma mpo'incai Alata'ala. Pelele' Alata'ala mpobalii' kehi-ni hi kanabo'ui-na pekiri-ni. Apa' ane hewa toe-damo, ni'inca mpu'u-mi patuju Alata'ala hi rala katuwu' -ni. Ni'inca kalompe' patuju-na toe, to mpakagoe' nono-na, pai' to uma ria kakuraa' -na.
2And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of [your] mind, that ye may prove what [is] the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
3Apa' lawi' nawai' -ama Alata'ala huraa jadi' suro-na, toe pai' kuparesai' -koi butu-butu dua-ni: neo' -ta mpomolangko nono-ta meliu ngkai kakono-na. Kana monoto nono-ta mpopekiri katuwu' -ta moto, ntuku' huka' pepangala' to nabagi-taka Alata'ala butu-butu dua-ta.
3For I say, through the grace which has been given to me, to every one that is among you, not to have high thoughts above what he should think; but to think so as to be wise, as God has dealt to each a measure of faith.
4Rapa' -na hi woto manusia' ria wori' bagia-na, aga hawoto lau-wadi, pai' butu bagia woto toe hore-hore ria bago-ra.
4For, as in one body we have many members, but all the members have not the same office;
5Wae wo'o kita' to mepangala' hi Kristus: wori' -ta, aga hawoto lau-ta-wadi hi posidai' -ta hante Kristus, pai' momedai' -tamo butu dua-ta hi himpau kita'.
5thus we, [being] many, are one body in Christ, and each one members one of the other.
6Hore-hore ria kola' -ta to mosisala, ntuku' to nakolai' -taka Alata'ala. Tauna to ria kola' -na mpohowa' Lolita Alata'ala, kana mpopomako' bago-na toe ntuku' huka' pepangala' -na.
6But having different gifts, according to the grace which has been given to us, whether [it be] prophecy, [let us prophesy] according to the proportion of faith;
7Tauna to ria kola' -na mpotulungi doo, kana metulungi mpu'u-i-hawo. Tauna to ria kola' -na metudui', kana metudui' mpu'u-i.
7or service, [let us occupy ourselves] in service; or he that teaches, in teaching;
8Tauna to ria kola' -na mporohoi nono doo, bate tetu-mi-hawo bago-na. Hema-ta to ria kola' -ta mpowai' doo ba napa-napa, wai' -ramo doo-ta hante kamanara-ta. Hema to ria kola' -na jadi' pangkeni, kana mepakeni-i hante nono-na mpu'u. Pai' tauna to ria kola' -na mpewili' doo to mpe'ahii', pewili' -ramo hante nono to goe'.
8or he that exhorts, in exhortation; he that gives, in simplicity; he that leads, with diligence; he that shews mercy, with cheerfulness.
9Poka'ahi' mpu'u doo-ni, neo' rapo'ada-wadi. Tadi kehi to dada'a, kakamu kehi to lompe'.
9Let love be unfeigned; abhorring evil; cleaving to good:
10Momepoka'ahi' -koi hewa pomepoka'ahi' to ntali ompi', pai' momeri'uu-uluhi-koi momebila' hadua pai' hadua.
10as to brotherly love, kindly affectioned towards one another: as to honour, each taking the lead in paying it to the other:
11Baka' mobago hi Pue', neo' lose. Neo' tapelele' apu-ta mate, kakamu bago Pue' hante nono mpu'u.
11as to diligent zealousness, not slothful; in spirit fervent; serving the Lord.
12Pakagoe' nono-ta, apa' moroho poncarumakaa-ta hi Pue'. Tari hi rala kasusaa'. Tida mosampaya.
12As regards hope, rejoicing: as regards tribulation, enduring: as regards prayer, persevering:
13Tulungi doo hampepangalaa' -ta to hi rala kakuraa' -ra. Jole' metorata.
13distributing to the necessities of the saints; given to hospitality.
14Ane ria tauna to mpobalinai' -koi, merapi' -koi hi Alata'ala bona nagane' -ra. Gane' -ra, neo' nitipo' -ra.
14Bless them that persecute you; bless, and curse not.
15Goe' hangkaa-ngkania hante tauna to goe', geo' hante tauna to geo'.
15Rejoice with those that rejoice, weep with those that weep.
16Hintuwu' hante doo-doo-ta. Neo' mpokalangko nono-ta, agina pohintuwu' -raka tauna to dingki' tuwu' -ra. Neo' -ta mpopeliu kapante-ta ngkai doo-ta.
16Have the same respect one for another, not minding high things, but going along with the lowly: be not wise in your own eyes:
17Ane ria to mpobalinai' -ta, neo' pehawai-ra. Babehi napa to lompe' hi poncilo hawe'ea tauna.
17recompensing to no one evil for evil: providing things honest before all men:
18Ane ma'aa-ala, kita' kana mpohudukulei' mpopali' ohea-na bona momekalompei' -ta hante hawe'ea tauna.
18if possible, as far as depends on you, living in peace with all men;
19Ompi' -ompi' to kupe'ahi': neo' pehawai kadada'aa doo. Pelele' Alata'ala moto-hawo to mpohuku' -ra. Apa' hi rala Buku Tomoroli' Alata'ala mpo'uli': Aku' -damo to mpehawai. Aku' -damo to mpohuku'." Wae-mi ponguli' Pue'.
19not avenging yourselves, beloved, but give place to wrath; for it is written, Vengeance [belongs] to me, *I* will recompense, saith the Lord.
20Jadi', tuku' -mi tudui' Buku Tomoroli' owi to mpo'uli': "Ane mo'oro' bali' -nu, pokoni' -ra-rawo. Ba ngkamara-ra, poponginu-ra. Ane hewa toe nubabehi, me'ea' huli' -ra mpai'."
20If therefore thine enemy should hunger, feed him; if he should thirst, give him drink; for, so doing, thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head.
21Neo' rapehawai kehi doo to dada'a hante kehi to dada'a wo'o. Ane hewa toe, madagi lau-tamo, apa' nadagi kada'aa-tamo. Agina hiwili kehi to dada'a hante kehi to lompe', bona tadagi kada'aa hante kalompea'.
21Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
